The ads. Haven’t played the game and I don’t plan to. I just think having an ad where they’re poking holes in condoms is over the top. That has nothing to do with the game and even if it did, gross. I get these guys are supposed to be bad guys and the girl is supposed to be treated badly, but for real? If that’s the extreme you have to go through so people will play your game, maybe you should try something else. Im not a prude or an overprotective parent, I’ve seen many inappropriate ads, but this was down right disturbing. I don’t think I’m overreacting in the slightest. It’s repulsive. You do realize that’s sexual assault, right? Just ew. How irresponsible of a company, and you want people to play your games? Instead of deleting my review like I assume you’re going to, how about doing something about your absolutely disgusting ads.

AT FIRST I REALLY LOVED the game BUT I don’t like the fact that we do all this merging and we collect all the stars but then it takes 500 stars and it only removes one thing I think if it’s gonna cost 600 and 700 stars to move something we’re renovating the hotel that more than one object is removed and fixed at a time it’s just too much, you use all of the stars in only the oven gets moved you use 700 stars and only the burger gets taken out of the oven. It’s a rip off in a way that is something. I think they should change other than that it’s a pretty good game I just don’t like the fact that you spent so many stars in it does so little for upgrades at a time. I find myself playing it less and less because you collect 2000+ stars for it to just remove 1 thing at a time it’s absolutely crazy.

I’m not sure what change they made internally, but this game has become completely unplayable in recent weeks. This used to be one of my favorite merge games, one of the few that survived when I’ve deleted most others. But recently, between glitches/bug, nonexistent support, and ad craziness the game is no longer enjoyable. I’ve been scammed out of over 100 gems (which I purchased) because of bugs in the game, and customer support it liking talking to a brick wall. I don’t understand why they make the experience worse for you once you purchase something and they seem really I intent on losing me as a user, despite me practically begging them to just throw me a bone to make up for not getting what I purchased, because I really love the game. But if that’s what they want I’m tired of trying to stay a user. I’ll be deleting and don’t recommend downloading, and ESPECIALLY don’t recommend purchasing anything!

This is the second review I have written. I have had this game for many months and have enjoyed playing it. But for the last few weeks the energy bar is off. Sometimes 2, 3, or 5. It started taking 2energy to tap and get an item. Then 3. Yesterday when I got down to 15energy I paid attention. I got 3 items and was left with 3 energy. I tried to use the energy but it said I was out (the 3 still showing). Later in the day I came back, had 10 got 1 item and 5 energy remaining. I do enjoy this game and have even paid money, but the energy level is inconsistent. If this was fixed it would be 5stars. Oh, and if there is an event it works as it should. It’s only on the main game. I hope the developers see this and fix this error. I did update to the newest version yesterday, hoping it would fix it. But it didn’t.

i have had this game for a long time and it’s a game i enjoy a lot and play daily but recently even opening MergeHotelEmpireDesignGame is overwhelming and discouraging. As soon as i open MergeHotelEmpireDesignGame i have to click out of 4-5 pop ups asking if i want to buy something, then if there is a new event the game forces me to open that event which takes forever. When i run out of energy a pop up comes asking if i want to use diamonds to get more energy, then another pop up asking if i want to spend money for an energy boost, then another pop up telling me if i share with friends then i get more energy. There was never this many pop ups asking to spend money and it’s getting annoying. I have noticed myself wanting to play the game less and less recently because of it.

As you can see from some of the other reviews, once you figure out how to play the game it’s a good time. Not the best but it’s okay. It’s a typical merge game. Where it lacks is that recently there have been some subtle updates to the rewards for completing tasks. The rewards have dropped dramatically. The daily challenges were also recently downgraded significantly. The ease of the daily challenges weren’t improved when their rewards were downgraded so it’s a net negative change. It feels like the game doesn’t care about the players enjoyment and (I know this is going to surprise you) just wants your money. I get they’re a business but my enjoyment has dropped quite a lot. I will probably end up deleting it soon. Merge Mansion is a far better game and doesn’t do this crap. It has a rewarding game place experience unlike Merge Hotel.

This game was so much fun and actually drew me in enough to spend money on it - even placed first in the challenges a couple of times, but watch out if you don't continue spending money. And after awhile you can spend your stars to buy treasure chests to get cards which can help you get more energy to keep playing BUT one can only waste so many stars to keep getting treasure chests to only get duplicate cards that get you no extra energy. I feel like once they see a player spending money, then they leave you hanging until you spend more money. The downside for you developers is that when people catch on, there are tons of new similar games to play and when a player gets fed up (like me), they tend to move on and they take their cash with them.....

I often wait to rate until a good deal after the first prompt, and this is exactly why.

Not only do things after the first room move to so hilariously slow that even someone deeply used to the late game of these things would find it eye-roll worthy, but once you unlock the first “piggy bank”, it pulses a “collect” button at you distracting from any reasonable play experience until you give them real money. I often pay for games who earned it, I just dropped $50 on an app game last week - but this method of psychological leverage warfare is so cheap and obnoxious I can’t bear to keep playing, even after two weeks of effort.

Until they fix that piggybank hack? Spend your time and energy somewhere else.

This is one of the better merge games on MergeHotelEmpireDesignGame Store, but it has one major issue: the sheer amount of popups you have to close to play. I just launched it and counted 10 windows I had to close out of, some of which had an extra “are you sure”, before I could play. That’s too many. And I really don’t need to be reminded to add friends EVERY SINGLE TIME I run out of energy. On top of that, the events are extremely repetitive. It’s just the same 2 boards swapping back and forth, and you have to restart from scratch each time. If they retained progress on the event boards I’d like it more, but it starting over is annoying.

Knocking off another star because now they want to make you watch an ad to get the rewards from the events that used to be free. And not even good rewards, like 2 cards for one ad. Really?

Wanna have a bunch of restrictions so that you have to use gems to even progress? Gems btw don’t come by that much to even think about using them but hey, that level 9 item isn’t gonna make itself, so keep clicking the source block that will most certainly give you none of the items needed to make said level 9 item and waste energy trying make it🙃 Listen I am all for apps needing ways to pay the artists and developers, but some of the art looks like, most likely, ai art.

But the biggest issue I have with this game is, I like listening to music and the games audio is headache inducing. So when I play the game with music I can’t always tell what’s happening based on sound alone. Do you know how often and easy it is to use a level 9 scissors(one of the items in game) on a level 4 item that you could easily get from source block? It’s pretty gosh darn easy. Too easy in fact. I would suggest to have a rewind button so that if it does happen, you can just rewind or undo that move. But no, thats too easy and not going to bring in more profit😣

Another thing about the game is how many events can happen at once, clogging the visual senses and sometime being a nuisance like the bingo one or the firefly one. This game is just not that fun to deal with or even get around all of the problems

I think the game is a lot of fun and honestly there are hardly any ads. I think the design is really beautiful and it doesn’t take frustratingly long for the main items to recharge. I would honestly give it five stars if they didn’t have the trophy rooms. I don’t know if this is just a me problem but after I complete one of the rooms the game sends me to a trophy room where I just merge to compete rather than complete the story. The competitions will last for a bout a week and sometimes I’m stuck in more than one. I don’t like merging to compete I’d rather just play the game :( I end up not playing till the competition(s) ends which can last for up to 2 weeks. Otherwise I really like it and I think that everyone that worked hard on it did an amazing job!

I’ve really liked this game for quite a while. I’ve even spent money on it, since it was a choice and not a necessity for playing. Now it’s changed from requiring coins to do tasks in rooms to needing keys too. And it takes a ridiculous amount of time to make items. I’m talking at least several DAYS for one item. I get not wanting to rush to the finish, but this is getting near impossible to get anywhere in a reasonable amount of time. The match 3 side game is suddenly gone, and the other side merge games have been the same few repeated for so long it’s boring. Some changes and new ideas come up with would be nice. I have a strong feeling I’m not going to make it much longer and won’t finish finding out the mystery person.

Very cool design, layout, and adventure. The game started off great, moved along smoothly. HOWEVER, after the first room things are slowed down significantly and you really have to spend a ton of money to progress. Yes, the objective is to make money but make it workable for those who can’t just constantly throw money at a game. Consider some changes:
1) have multiple ways of getting extra energy, right now it only through using diamonds
2) don’t have “conversations” take stars, ESPECIALLY since you have the option to skip the conversation AFTER you’ve used stars on it. It works against the game and any type of progress and there is no way to get passed that.
Please consider these changes. I’m not sure I will play much longer, slow progress takes the fun and purpose out of the game. I would consider paying a few dollars here or there but the packages are all kind of expensive compared to similar games

Look, it’s not a bad game but I feel like it could have some improvements. First of all it doesn’t take long to burn through the first batch of spawn turns, until you pay with REAL money or go through the effort to watch an ad. Also the story is a bit boring and not as much “mystery” as intended in the title, therefore all of you people whom like to experience REAL mystery I recommend that you try a different game to play. My last complaint is that the ads that the game chose to show are either way too boring or “too mature” for younger kids that would want to play this fairly appropriate game. That was my last complaint that I will state. I still have a few more but this can be a good game for some people to enjoy playing. As if that was not enough or if you want to here the good things about this game, I suggest you look at other people’s review or look this up on another app that has this game as an option. That was all I had to say and I hope that this reconvened some people about getting this game.

Ok. Like the game, and I’m not deleting it and I would recommend, but do you see how it says Japanese food culture? That’s not actually a event in the game. Everything here is super different from the actual gameplay. There is not the actually footage, which is normal, but still. I also wish we could really decorate the house, because right now, it’s just pressing a button, giving them 430 well earned stars, and watching her place an ugly empty fountain. It costs another 300 stars to fill it. I wish you were more reasonable when it comes to stars. I want to have the option to customize. Besides these., good job. Pretty fun, good energy system, although I am a little disappointed with the mystery so far… thanks

This is the third merge game I’m playing (simultaneously) and it just really pi$$ed me off. It keeps looping back. Goes back several moves, costing me everything I’d done…. And I’m kept doing exact same thing about 5 times!! Couldn’t figure it out. No idea what’s up but if my other merges do this, I’m outta here! Just when I was really catching on.

These games need reference information. I played hours of merge mansion before figuring out, to some degree, part of what to do, the strategy of it. Even more now, I need info to optimize my results. Where do things come from (not always known) and all the rules most games tell you.

These games can be a great source of challenge for the aging brain, which mine is. But what I don’t need is frustration and aggravation. I have adult kids for that. But I do love to lose myself in the challenges (hence 3 games currently - mansion, hotel and restaurant). So please put out some info. Plus, there are differences in all the games that should be explained. Thanks!!

This has been on of my favorite merge games to play, but they recently made some changes that I think are definitely for the worse. When you have ‘competitions’ where you have to collect things (like fireflies, bows, likes, etc.) to get rewards, you should not also then have to watch an ad to collect those rewards. It was never like this before and trust me, I get it. Games like this make money off their ad revenue, but suddenly changing the game to make it a requirement for rewards that were previously awarded through regular game play is quite the turn off.

One side note: as many others have said, the number of stars required to complete rooms is insanely high when you get into upper levels. If you are someone who cares about the progress of your hotel design and not just game play, be prepared.

This game has a lot of potential. Some suggestions would be that you don’t spend points on narration. It’s always over 100 and I have no interest in it and just skip anyway. Also, it’s tedious to spend 100+ points to clean up every individual piece of the room; I’d like to be able to see more progress quicker to hold my interest and it would be a cool addition to be able to pick some of the decor. With everything using over 100 points, one can only play maybe 10 minutes at a time since you run out of energy, so it might not be great for retaining players, but the overall concept is an enjoyable, easy way to spend some downtime.

I like the game but run out of energy way to fast and play to many games to throw money at all of them. There are better ways to earn energy. If the progress continues to be this tedious, I’ll have to abort this game. As one other reviewer said, if I wanted to deal with frustration, I have adult children for that. The other issue I have is with the item generators. It would be helpful if it would throw random items instead of starting with the first item each time. (Other merge games do this.) I do like the game and enjoy the side games that are thrown in but it takes too long to make much progress. I’ll try to give it another week, but we’ll see.

So I love this game its mindless fun. I appreciate that there aren’t visible popups to other apps and adds but the amount of popups to buy things in the own game has gotten worse and worse. Every time I open the game its now closing 4 popups just to get to the game I get its free to play so money needs to be made. But one popup is just to take us to cards… Then god forbid you use up all your energy then you get not one, not two, but now three pop ups about buying more. I always try to leave one energy left without using it just so i don’t have to exit out of 3 pop ups. I only have one room left to complete so I’ve been playing for a while but not really sure if its worth continuing.

I love this game i’ve been looking for a merge game that’s just a merge game if you are looking to get this game and looking at the reviews it is the best game. It is hard but easy at the same time. if you like both those combinations, then this is a game for you. I only did four stars because when I was doing a event, I was looking for the event again and I could not find it. there are no glitches. No viruses there are in app purchases, but it’s just the best game. so definitely get the game. It is free and don’t listen to my four star rating. It was just because of that one little thing so definitely get the game if you like merging then this is the game for you thank you for listening to my review and the people who made the game best game ever!!!!!

EDIT: I wrote this also when reaching to support previously about the below matter but it just happened again. You all should have a warning button when selling an item, using a booster on an item- just something to confirm. I don’t know how many times I’ve used a high level camera booster on accident by just moving it and it copies a level one item. Same thing with the scissors. I also have sold things on accident. Or collected on “fireflies” on accident when trying to merge them.

Hi, this game is amazing! One of my top three merge games. It’s also worth putting money into the game because you get a lot out of it and not just ten more seconds of play time. However, lately I’ve been running into issues the past week. The game just keeps crashing and freezing. I did reach out one time to support when it crashed on me beating a hard level in the mini game so I never passed it and when reaching out to support, I was told to uninstall and reinstall and the game should continue to play which I knew of course it will. I’m so glad I didn’t listen because I know I would have lost all my progress had I listened to support so I just had to beat the level again which was fine but just a heads up. That’s my only complaint otherwise it’s a brilliant made game

I am low key liking this game as a pretty good time filler. I like how it doesn’t take a huge amount of time to refill your power levels so you can keep merging and earning your stars. I also like how the developer has given you many opportunities to earn power and stars as well as the gems for game play so that you aren’t required to spend money to continue playing. Especially when you are playing just to chill. I really dislike how the ads for this game were a complete scam and actual game play is nothing like the ads that kept popping up on my other games. That is happening a lot and is false advertising and misleading. Some seriously dodgy stuff.

This is the best merge game I’ve played but it could use some fine tuning. The amount of time it takes to reach a new level is too much because each renovation uses an incessant amount of stars. The fact that you can’t unlock new boxes until you reach a new level makes the game sometimes a bit boring because you’re merging the same things for an insane amount of time. I think if the the developers lowered the amount of stars needed for each renovation and also offered more specific products to make items, such as having a beverage machine produce only cups, then the game would definitely improve and be more fun to play.

I enjoy playing overall, but the amount of crystals you are expected to give up at times after losing a bunch of crystals (when that rat appears) to play this mini game is outrageous. I don’t even get the crystals I spent back for not moving forward. 20 or less is fine, but 90?? It’s upsetting; especially since I spent actual money on crystals to help me in the game. Now I’m over 200 lost crystals for ‘failing.’ My suggestion is to at least give back those lost crystals; especially if I’m going to lose every other prize in the process. I’m new to this game and didn’t realize I’d lose that much off the bat.

In this merge game you don’t have to wait literally AGES for your stuff to reload; it’s fantastic. I’m usually sitting there, waiting for one item to reload so I can get what I need to progress in Merge Mansion for HOURS, but in this one, the longest you wait is like maybe 5 minutes. I also like all the competitions that we get to participate in and how we get something new every level (I know it’s the same for MM but it has a different feel). One thing I wish would change is that you can change your name. In the tutorial, I accidentally clicked yes on the computer given name because I was trying to skip the tutorial and did not luck out. But really good game!

While playing this game I have had a lot of fun. I love merging as well as remodeling but I seem to hit a road block whenever I run out of energy. I know there are plenty of ways to refuel it but those usually run out fast. I Ike the idea of cards giving you extra energy but just buying a box already costs you your stars that you use to even progress through the game. So it’s hard to progress fast I know sometimes people like to take it slow but I find myself only able to play this game for 10-15 minutes before I run out of energy. So overall good game just don’t expect to beat it in a week or 20.

I really like this game. It’s pretty fun to play and has cool animations. BUTTTTT the energy runs out sooooooo fast. I know this is how it is with most merge games but this one is one of the worst with this issue. Also if you want items like cleaning or party items, they are super hard to get. I’ll end up getting 10 or more items until I get one soap to come out. I could enjoy this game so much more but small things ruin it. The story line is great and I love that you can get energy when you merge into new items. But then again, I just wish some things could be fixed and it would be a 5 star game.

Kind of upset because I like this game a lot- no ads and I get to play for quite a while before running out of energy.

The one thing I don’t like- I paid for premium for the first time on one of the events- that unfortunately does not extend to any other event, it’s only for the event, the one time. If the event pops back up, you would have to pay for it ALL over again. It says one time payment- and I couldn’t figure out what that meant and it just means that it works only the one time- not continuous which is sad and kind of irritating because it’s a 7.99 charge.

Honestly, this game is top tier!! Truth is that recently I’ve become obsessed with merge games. At first, I downloaded this game because I felt like it could be something to keep me busy while waiting for the objects to recharge in the other merge games I was playing at the time. I was literally shocked by how good this game is! I absolutely love the graphics and the color scheme is so bright, pastel, and bubbly! The power-ups are definitely pretty unique to this game; not to mention that, unlike other games, you can refill stamina with these collectible cards you get from chests. If you’re looking for a casual game with a pretty cool storyline, I definitely recommend. This is something I play when watching something or when I’m listening to something for school.

If you are searching for a merging challenge this is most definitely the game to download. I have been playing this game for 8 months now and I must say each event and level challenge is worth the playing time, you get so hooked that you actually forget “hey this is just a game”. The only con that I have been having so far is a glitch going on to where I merge my items and it glitches as if I never merged anything, I don’t know if there is an update coming soon or what the case is but no worries because I will still give this game 10/10 !!!

I have tried a few different merge apps, and I had to let everyone know this is The One To Get!! I got it a couple days before the fast food festival, that was one of the things that made this game so good. I do have a suggestion when it comes to these challenges. Since it is a challenge with other players, when it comes to the golden ticket. Instead of charging $7.99, how about when the next level of the items that fall under the golden ticket, maybe you can make it where you have to watch an ad in order to get the item. The reason I suggest this is since the cost of everything has gone up maybe some people couldn’t afford the $7.99, and yet it would still be fair for everyone that played this amazing game. Thank you for all your hard work on this. Keep it up.😘

In the past I would play the same game for awhile, get bored, and move on to the next game. I would also NEVER spend money in a game.

Then I started playing this. I’ve been playing it for months, and I’m still not bored (although I almost gave up playing recently because the items I need to make were SO hard I didn’t have enough space on the board, which got really frustrating). I’ve also spent a decent amount of money to be able to play/do more. I realized it’s no different than paying to being entertained in any other format.

I really like this game and play it daily (luckily it doesn’t work with poor service or my productivity at work would be decreased greatly).

I have six merging games. I love merging, and what makes it better is that it has a daily login! You get rewards every day for just joining the game. I play this game daily. Some other merge games might be different from the ads, but this game matches the ads completely! You merge items to get what the customers want and you use the stars you earn from the customers pay to get decorations for the hotel! There are also cutscenes, but you can easily skip them if you don’t like reading or cutscenes!

I’m really enjoying the game. There’s a lot of variety to keep you entertained and the algorithm seems to be more far than other similar games I’ve played. My only complaint is the same problem I’ve had with every other game like this, I can’t stand that you get two different set of items from the same producing items. Example, I hate that the electric kettle gives you both desserts and cups. It makes it a matter of luck instead of skill. But, like I said, this is a problem I have with every game like this. Otherwise, I am really enjoying the experience.

I literally love this game. I play it every single day. Sometimes multiple times a day… it is truly the best merge came on the market. I love the extra games you can play when they are available. I love the bonus merge games too!!

There are some things that could be improved on though…

1. The game literally KILLLLLLS my phone battery. I know I need a charger handy which is a big reason that I only play it at home.

2. I really feel like the rewards for completing the rooms could be MUCH better. Think about how much energy (and physical real monetary dollars) it takes to complete a room? And you definitely, definitely see that I have spent money playing this game. I mean, more money than I really want to admit… or even know about. I really feel like it would take an awfully LONG time to complete a room if I didn’t make in-app purchases.

3. Could we get different themes for the other merge events that happen? Like we have two options right now (the beach theme or the make up theme) could there be other themed events?

4. The cards/stickers are pretttty hard to come by. I have never completely a full set. I play religiously. I don’t have any friends who play because I literally don’t have any friends? 🤣🤣 lol but it shouldn’t be impossible to complete on your own…

I love the game. I probably won’t stop playing (unless I decide to sit down and see how much it’s costed me). But I’d like to see some changes to keep it fun. That’s all!

I’ve only been playing about a week but it has quickly become my go to game. I look forward to playing it because of the clear, colorful graphics and satisfying game play. The merges are not so difficult to make that you’re driven to spend money to complete challenges. You have enough opportunities to get energy to merge objects so as to have an enjoyable amount of time playing in one sitting. Unlike other merge games where you have to use up so much energy to complete one challenge that it takes a week of playing just a few minutes to move on, or spend lots of money for more energy.

i LOVEEE merge games. i think i’ve tried most,if not all,of the more popular merge games, and this one is by far my favorite. i love the look of it, all the mini games and side quests. i do appreciate that the use of stars is simple, but part of it also wishes there was a customization aspect to it. it’s not a big deal, but something to note if you’re looking to play this game. this one stands out to me the most because there’s other minigames that you’re able to play while you’re waiting for your energy to reload and there’s also so many opportunities for you to earn stars, energy, and boosters. the orders are also pretty simple to complete and i love that the game will sometimes create new orders that you already have on your board so that you complete it right away!
