Both times I’ve scheduled a ride, RichmondMoves confirms it and gives me an ETA. It even gives me a 10 minute warning, but both times I’ve called the driver and they have no record of receiving a ride request. I have no idea what the 10 minute warning is based on because the ride hasn’t moved on the map.
This is literally it’s only function and I can’t trust that I have a ride. I won’t be using this again until it’s fixed.
This Richmond moves app is terrible everytime I try to use RichmondMoves to get a ride it says it has a technical difficulty problem when I try to get a ride and I need to go home to get in the shower and sleep thank you and please fix this dam app.
The servers are always down or they don’t have enough drivers.

Richmond moves is a wonderful idea and fantastic program but there is a need improvement. RichmondMoves itself and the workers on call are super confusing and/or frustrating. The calls are prolonged by readdressing information, spelling, etc... Of course it will take longer than RichmondMoves but it shouldn’t take too long for something that takes one second. The annoying part is when they ask you whether you have RichmondMoves or not which is unnecessarily, I wouldn’t be calling if RichmondMoves is available.
Moving onto RichmondMoves itself it’s direct and easier to work with rather than calling people. The catch is it’s not easy to keep up with. When you book a ride everything you need to know - drivers/ car info time and pickup. There has been numerous amounts of times that I booked a street(an exact corner) and RichmondMoves picks a different location. What’s the point of filling out location if you’re going to use a different one. Last but not least RichmondMoves can be laggy. I have to make sure I am refreshing RichmondMoves every second in order to get an accurate time.
RichmondMoves is probably good and I applaud the initiative. But Richmond Annex is not part of the zone even though our taxes payed for this service. Discrimination!!

Great service! I wouldn’t be using it if I hadn’t been rear-ended while biking. The bike isn’t rideable and I have a separated shoulder but Richmond Moves is my silver lining!
Great driver and smooth ride. The only lacking thing is the driver or RichmondMoves DON’T know if the car is already full of passengers.
