DON’T SPEND MONEY ON un!!!! Why did I pay to get in playlist just to get a fake feedback !!! Saying my track wasn’t mixed professionally when I went to one of the top and best engineers and producers in the world …. A have a radio single but was rated low!!! It’s a scam!!! Every playlist I entered on any other platform never turned down a track I entered,… And to get 4 fake responses saying It’s not right is wild work,

I could have gotten my song rejected from a playlist curator on my own, without spending $7. They haven’t issued a refund or given an option to pitch my song to a different playlist, they also didn’t provide any feedback on why the song was rejected. They quite literally just took my money. Save your money and send your music to playlist curators on your own time. Just another music marketing scam targeting aspiring artists.

Don’t spend your money on un it’s a false promise. There curators can deny your music from there playlist. Not to mention unhurd doesn’t own these playlist there just the middle man. Another thing to mention is that they don’t do anything after you have been denied to get you on any other playlist or to promote your music.

Yea I ordered playlist camping over a week ago and they never responded so I went to customer service and they just ignored me they responded once then never let me know any of the needed info , if you want sowmthing real I wouldn’t go to this they just tryna take a quick 20$ from you that’s all that happened for me , they don’t wanna help no artist

Don’t waste your money. The curators reserve the right to reject your music and they still get paid which means even if your music is a good fit they could still say no to adding your song. You’re better off looking for curators yourself and pitching to them directly. Put the time in to your own marketing. I believe in you.

I went through a test run. 1 song to only one playlist cost $6.99. I was thinking a buck or two per transaction. I can email a playlist we myself without paying that. What I thought they were providing was a one transaction for a more full campaign. This is being marketed as helping starting artists. But I feel the price makes it a bait and switch. The only guarantee is that they get paid. I don’t actually know what the success rate is based on my 7 bucks.

It’s a great app to use as a independent artist. very easy to use and maneuver through. one thing most artists would agree upon, why would we pay for our songs to basically be “reviewed” to be placed on a playlist. Based off of the advertisement that I saw for un, it sounded like pay and place type of marketing (like boost collective). Y’all never mention that ANY track that’s sent in, ISN'T guaranteed for placement on selected playlist. Good way to make a quick buck off of hungry artist🫡😭🙏🏽i bet it works amazing tho when you do place

The basic functionalities are fine, but this is by no means an app to help you scale if you're just starting out without spending a good chunk of cash. You are better off reaching out to curators yourself or posting on social consistently.

The acceptance rate for playlists was like 30% - which is fine but the impact itself was close to 0 - meaning no lift in streaming numbers from actual playlist placements. The offered playlists are honestly dead or followed by other music marketers and indie artists who only want results and aren't actual audiences.

un would probably work if you already have a robust following and setup. At the end of the day the industry is about connections and building a following organically. There simply isn't an alternative to that.

The campaign part needs work man. It logged me out and said I never had one to begin with. I felt like I wasted my money until I saw results. But at the same time I can’t even view the stats

Your songs get lost in the playlists because they add a lot new ones at the same time. The songs at the top are the most famous, not helpful for new artist or maybe its the playlist that i chose

un isn’t really bad there’s just something’s that should be fixed, like before they take your money it should just maybe be a hold so if they don’t put you on a playlist you get money back or maybe they should automatically suggest you to another because that feedback thing isn’t really doing anything and some curators don’t say anything

Okay so I heard about un on a random instagram ad, now I just signed up with a distributor (UM) and I really had no idea how to promote my music well enough to land on playlists, well un literally knocked that out in less than 4 hrs, and it’s pretty simple to run successful ads on socials, sometimes it is a little iffy with connecting accounts like ig & TikTok. Overall it’s a great affordable platform to help grow and promote your music and get more traction & placements, I hope you all find the success you’re looking, you’re at the right spot.

In un I have worked with Alex. He has been very responsive snd patient; definitely cares about the artists. un incorporate every little detail towards launching a a successful, but it shows insights, and Alex was there to guide me through each step answering unlimited questions. It is like having a professional manager set you up for success all for free.

U spend money on them and they just get to say “no we are not going to add this to our playlists

The honest truth is :
The number stats I got after paying to be submitted to a playlist, and being accepted into them are wow, insanely high .
But they’re a complete lie.
They’ll say 200k or 300k and above but it’s not true at all.
not even 2 streams came from the playlists.
If you want to waste your money and get fed lies about your stats and how many “ people you reach “ then go ahead, use un

As an independent artist, sometimes I find myself unable to trust many marketing services. With un however, I have experienced great customer service with Adam. I had an issue with finding a playlist for my music. I emailed customer service and got an response within 24 hours. Within three days, I had a solution to my problem. Now, I am very confident in un!
