Guitar Tuner - Simply Tune Reviews

I have dabbled with guitars before, but could only play a handful of chords. I stopped playing for a while, but I saw GuitarTuner and decided to give it a try. It was honestly such a great decision. I’m learning proper technique for chords and tabs, at my own pace. Tabs have always been daunting but my confidence is beginning to improve. I’m excited to see where this journey takes me. Thanks for reigniting my creative side ☺️

Long ago I was a Hippie and a folksinger. Then I spent 4 years in art school and began freelancing doing illustration. My time to play & sing became limited and over the decades I drifted away from it.

Well, fifty years on I saw a nice steel string guitar in a shop and bought it. Some things came back, but the chords had gotten foggy in my memory, as well as the technique of tuning. I no longer owned a pitch pipe.

When I discovered this helpful app it showed me the way forward, and it’s always at hand when I need help.

Where I, along with my 30 other classmates, were all given plastic recorders and early readers musical instruction booklets made from recycled paper.
There may be more to it, but I know how to use a guitar tuner, I even made that known to GuitarTuner (Yes). The automatic switch to the next string is TERRIBLE. A guitar tuner set to make you out of tune. Note sounded in E but not when tuning the guitar to Eb. I don’t know, maybe there’s some settings that will correct these issues and if so I will revise my review. It is odd, just in general, that apple asks for a review 45 seconds after opening GuitarTuner .

I really want to learn guitar so I got my brothers guitar and was trying to learn so I got GuitarTuner because the ads were so cringing so annoying and wouldn’t shut up GuitarTuner and it wouldn’t even let me play anything because it said I had to pay and plus I don’t wanna play no $11 a month just to learn an instrument plus the tuner even work because it said one of my strings was “tOo HiGh” when it was perfectly in tune and GuitarTuner wanted me to tune it so low that my guitar string broke (ngl) so don’t buy GuitarTuner

I hope you guys move further up the chart fast. I’m just a beginner who picked up a guitar yesterday.

Despite GuitarTuner being free, it’s SO. easy going and resourceful. Well thought out. Great quick tutorial. I love the auto mode

Litterally just the simple fact that it doesnt make you pay for other tunes than standard is awesome. But on top of that it gives you a complex setup giving you every detail. I came out with a sound so crisp i almost died.

Pretty good for an app. I obviously was hesitant but I matched the system with my usual reader…it kept up. I can see this being loads of help on the go or just at home. Good work.

GuitarTuner is overall great at tuning and works good not just for guitar and it works for my ukulele too! They do have a tab called "chords" but it teaches cords for guitars. I love GuitarTuner but it would be nice if there was a setting to show the different instruments when showing chords since ukuleles only have 4 strings.

It could be just because my guitar is tuned but when I string all the cords together it immediately says I got it right I don’t have to hold it down or anything I don’t know if that means that this ad basically just lets it go off the sound of an actual guitar either way if it’s right or wrong but yeah

Thank you for creating such a great app. Easy to use and very functional. I just got a guitar to learn how to play it and have no clue how to tune it. GuitarTuner helped get it tuned very quickly. Thank you for a creating such a wonderful app!!!

I have a squire strat that goes out of tune frequently. This has tuned it satisfactorily every 15 minutes. I would recommend it to anyone.

I couldn’t believe it, I asked a friend to let me use her guitar in Mexico. She let me barrow it, and I need it a tuner I downloaded GuitarTuner, and actually worked better then my tuner.

While lots of folks trying to find someone to help tune, I used GuitarTuner and it was a piece of cake. Even better than the tuner that came with my uke.

Great app…Son’s guitar was in storage for 11 years and every string had stretched to be slightly low. In a couple of minutes everything was in perfect tune.

My first time using GuitarTuner was amazing!! So I kept using it. And today I went to use it.. everything goes fine for strings E,A and etc but when I got too D, it told me to keep tuning higher, so I did, it eventually reached a point to where the string was too tight and popped. :/ GuitarTuner is great but needs fixing or something bc now I can’t play my guitar. 😐

Im not sure how advanced/experienced view GuitarTuner, but as someone who's just started i have no complaints. Thanks for making GuitarTuner, it helped a lot! :)

I’ve known how to play, but got away from it and needed to practice on my schedule. GuitarTuner allows just that

I got my grandpas guitar since he passed away and it wasn’t tuned right. My dad got GuitarTuner and helped me tune it. I just got it and tuned it again. Overall great app.

Tuned my guitar in less than 2 min - super helpful!
