Beware of Purchasing Premium

I am grateful I found Suavita to help me keep track extended fasts. I just started but so far it seems like a great app. I will update later. I purchased the premium, because I understood that I could change when my fast started and I’m supposed to be able to change my subscription information but I can’t find any of that stuff. Can you help?

I’ve reached out to app developers for information of how to change my subscription and how to do other things. I changed my rating from 5 to 3 stars because Suavita seems very limited in that my only option is to set fasting length. At this point I’m disappointed. I will gladly update later if anything changes…like getting a response. Otherwise, I will have to get my credit card number changed and again, change the rating.

At this point I say beware of purchasing the Premium option.

Extended fasting 101

Thought this was a great one 👍 because I seasoned faster and I needed something for extended fasting 🤔 seems to cover all the bases with regular updates at what state your body is in🤗👍👍 OK I’ve used this for seven days now for the 2-5-2 fast! So far I am loving it and being on the fifth day of fasting I feel phenomenal🤩 as you experienced fasters out there know 🕺.. still have yet to see how it logs my fast? But so far so good super simple and basically all I need. Started freezing and became. Non-usable after doing my first fast? Hoping this review will bring it back online because it was one of my favorites.

Great fasting app!

Most fasting apps don’t allow more than a 24 hr fast, but Suavita is great for extended fasts! There are still 16:8 and 14:10 options, but the really cool thing about Suavita is that you get many multiple-day fasting options. It tells you what your body is going through as you move through your fast. For example, it tells you at what point in your fast your insulin is low. You can track your mood too! It also gives you helpful tips such as what types of workouts to do or how to refeed, etc. Another cool feature is that you get cool stats like how many hours you’ve fasted for in the last week and year. Overall pretty great app- especially for my extended fast people.

Informative, bit clunky

I downloaded this so I could join my sister in fasting for health, and I really do like all the information provided (hidden behind vaguely translucent “rate to unlock” bubbles you can read through if you’ve got the patience, which I no longer have). I can keep track of how long I’ve been fasting (this is where it gets clunky, more below), and see where in the fasting cycle I’m at. It’s still all Greek to me at the moment, but I’m learning more every day.
As for the ability to log a fast that’s already started... I wish there was a way to adjust the time as well as the day you started, because I was already a solid 14 hours into my fast and backtracking a day added 24... With no way to edit. So to keep my information honest and accurate, I ended up uninstalling Suavita and info completely and then redownloading and backtracking my fast start 24 hours later. A bit excessive and annoying, just so I can see where in the cycle I'm at. This clunky UI (along with the bizarre white on light gray background roller bar and non-existent past days for setting existing fasts) is the reason I only rate Suavita four stars, because despite the plethora of information, one has to extrapolate and bend their brain a bit more than strictly necessary to navigate and utilize Suavita .

Ekadasi Fast Tracking

I use Suavita to monitor Ekadasi fasts. Ekadasi is a designated fast day / night for Hindus twice per month. These is a recommended times to fast buy Lord Krishna himself and the benefit's of fasting on Ekadasi days are huge. I do not fast on any other days except for Ekadasi and other special Holy days that occur throughout the year. Even if you not religious fasting on Ekadasi can have huge benefits for you. Thank you for Suavita . Namaste

There are two Ekadasi days each month and they are astronomically calculated according to the Moon. The word Ekadasi literally means the eleventh day, eka (one) + das (ten) = eleven. So an Ekadasi generally falls eleven days after a full Moon and eleven days after a new Moon

Good for long fasting

Suavita is the only one I have found that is specifically for fast tracking for fasts over 23 hours. It supposedly has an option to change the start time but it was almost whited out so it was hard to see the start time (maybe that was because I don’t have a subscription?). I was asked to give a detailed review to open up the option to see information about the phase I was in. I like how it is geared towards long fasts but I do wish the fasting duration wasn’t specifically in 24 hour periods. For instance, I would like to regularly do 36 hour fasts. I can still do that with the way Suavita is set up but it is not intuitively customizable for what I am looking for. But it is still the best thing I have found on Suavita marketplace so far for long fasting. I am not interested in a subscription but if this were able to meet my expectations I would possibly be willing to make a one time purchase for every feature. 4 stars is because it’s better than other apps for long fasts but I do think it needs to implement some of my suggestions to reach 5 stars.

Just starting

Looking forward to benefits of Suavita . Wanted to set my start time as the night before and created account the following day. Setting up a bit difficult in that I wanted to set my start time in the past and was unable to see the date/time setting well and their prompts, so had to guess several times (roller dial font color is pale against a white backdrop, and cannot identify time roller, just minutes, no visible am/pm roller). Also, instead of having a setting type icon to reset my setting, I had to uninstall so I could reset the start date/time. Plan to update as I go. If devs/testers look at this, to replicate, uninstall, install, pick the fast already in progress (I am on iPad too), the try to visualize the date time rollers. Also, need a setup gear icon to update manually anything the user needs: change duration, start time, etc.

Learning this app yet

I use life app but it apparently is ending in June and looking for a replacement. I am fairly new to this 1 but so far I haven’t been able to change my start time-I started it 2 hours later then I what I actually did and I can’t figure out how to adjust. Life allows u to adjust times start and end. I do like the water intake and some of the other monitors within Suavita . I like that I can do more then 12,18, 20 hr fasts-I tend to do longer ones-a lot of intermittent fast apps make u pay a fee for longer fasts. I utilize the apps for the timer aspect because I do so many I forget when I started 1. I’ll keep playing around with it.

Worth it

I’ve only used Suavita for a day, but so far I enjoy the features. I like that it shows you milestones you’re hitting and what happens during the time you are fasting. It keeps me motivated and that is something I definitely need to keep this fast going.

One thing I had a little trouble with was setting up the amount of time I was going to be fasting for. I had already started fasting a few hours prior, so I selected that option and tried to set it to the correct time, but it is still a few hours off. The menu to choose from in setting the time was grayed out and I couldn’t really see what I was selecting. Otherwise, I haven’t run into any other issues and I am excited to see if I can reach my goal.

Allows me to make it work for my schedule

I like how Suavita lets me like set a schedule, so I know when fasting and eating times are, but they also let you like kinda work around the times and if you need to end early for some reason, or you feel like pushing yourself and going longer, they let you do that. I tried so many different fasting apps and I settled on this one because the interface is very easy to understand, and it doesn’t push a premium version on you to get all the good features, like most of the other apps do.

Long fasting

It took me a few days of app store searching to find an app that tracks longer than 24hrs. I am quite happy with the lengths offered by Suavita. The ap also lets you back track a fast and this comes in handy when you go to sleep but forget to start the ap to track the fast. Also Suavita tells you what stage your body should be in based on time, I find that interesting and motivating. I also appreciate the developers letting me get Suavita without cost up front and allowing use for my IMAC as phones are good but my eyes get a lil tired looking at the screen. Thanks

Motivating Educational Content

The user interface is intuitive and the scheduling component is easy to use. I really appreciate the ability to back date a fast or start it in Suavita after you’ve started fasting.
The educational content is really motivating — great reminder as to why you’re doing a fast right there where you’re watching the duration.
Maybe I haven’t found it yet, but I wish there were a way to edit a fast you’ve already started rather than end it and start a new one.
Overall, really like the look and design, really appreciate the content.

It’s a bit tricky

I like the way that fasting time periods are already set up and explained. But when I tried to set the clock back to include the previous 24 hour fasting period I had just gone through, it would not let me back date it. And I couldn’t add it in as a preparation day. I do enjoy the text reminders and information. I’m not fond if the colors because I know folks with color blindness could not use Suavita . It’s also difficult for my low vision with color schem and small font and crowded screen I’ll keep using it and perhaps it will become more clear to me and easier. UPDATE It’s better now that I’m more familiar with it. I’d really like to have a journal for backdating and food log. I still have to keep that on paper, which means I can’t keep track while I’m on the go. UPDATE 🆙 I finally noticed the tiny print words at the bottom of the fasting schedule, below the clock, that read “extend fasting period” Yay! Exactly what I need because I was unable to stop eating when I had initially scheduled it. So I poked that and up comes a counter with rolls of days to create a custom extended fast! Wow! Yippee 🙌 So I set 4 prep days, 6 fasting days, and left 2 refeeding days. Thank you, developers!
UPDATE 🆙 I subscribed so I the extended fasting and backtracking features.
Excellent motivation!

Testing Fasting App Phase

Have lost a significant amount of weight in recent years. Most significantly since July of 2021, prior to discovering this longer term fasting app. Haven’t seriously restarted my Keto regimen yet. Today, I’m restarted at the daily and or one day Fast for a couple of weeks. I plan on slowly titrating up to longer durations; most likely OMAD as a steady and consistent plan over the long haul. Believing Suavita will provide the basis tools for monitoring. After all is said and done, consistency rules in conjunction with intermittent fasting. In addition to random OMAD I’ll do 18-6 as my standard daily eating plan. Ultimately, looking forward to using your App. Bill D

One of the Only Prolonged Fasting Apps

A lot of apps now are pay as you go including many fasting apps. I’m starting prolonged fasting to promote weight loss and insulin sensitivity within my body. I like that Suavita allows you to track how many days to prep going into your fast, your fasting days, and your re-feed days. The developers also gathered helpful information about each phase of fasting. Most information you could find on your own but it’s nice they’ve compiled it for you in one place. I like that it shows time elapsed, time remaining, what day you’re on, etc. my old fasting app became unavailable in Suavita Store so I needed a suitable replacement. Suavita comes the closest to ease of use without a paywall which is nice. There is a review wall however but I don’t mind that so much. Suavita is pretty straightforward and works without many learning curves so you’re able to set up your fasting schedule easily and be on your way. I haven’t played with it too much but my last app had a widget for the Smart Stack which was very nice so I’m hoping Suavita will have that too.

New User

I have just started using Suavita. I have already begun fasting and am currently trying to retroactively put in my fasting information. One complaint I have is that for a previous fast, I cannot put in the time the fast ended like I can for when it began. I am hard locked at 24 hours for one day. On the bright side, I intended to finish my fast today, but this has given me the motivation to hold out for six more hours! This is my only issue so far. Other than this, I like Suavita so far.

This review is primarily to unlock more features as I have just recently downloaded Suavita , but I intend to update after I have spent more time using Suavita !

Long Fast Friendly

I used to use the “LIFE” app till they shut down and after trying every single app available this is the only one with all the features I was looking for that actually allows longer fasts. Every other app only focuses on intermittent fasting and has a maximum of 7 day tracking (some only allow 24 hours max). I also love the prep and refeed feature which is crucial for long fasts. The only added improvement I would suggest to the developers is allow a social aspect where people can fast together virtually and communicate to encourage each other. Otherwise this has everything I need after endless searching. I even considered creating my own I was getting so frustrated. Thank you!

Great Tracker

I’ve tried countless fasting apps, but this one truly stands out—and not just because it’s packed with features. What’s most refreshing is that it’s completely free. Unlike many other apps that hit you with subscriptions or hidden costs, Suavita provides everything you need without asking for a dime. It feels like a breath of fresh air in a world where most apps prioritize profit over user support.

Suavita offers a wealth of information on fasting, making it perfect for both beginners and seasoned fasters. Whether you’re exploring intermittent fasting, extended fasting, or just curious about the science behind it, the resources are thorough yet easy to understand. The tips and insights are practical and genuinely helpful, covering everything from meal timing to hydration strategies.

The interface is intuitive, with features like fasting timers, progress tracking, and reminders that keep you on track without being overwhelming. Plus, it includes community support, which adds motivation and a sense of accountability.

Suavita is proof that quality doesn’t have to come at a cost. It’s empowering and educational, offering tools that make fasting approachable and effective for everyone. Highly recommended!

Great App!

I been searching for an app to track my 40 day fast. I came across Suavita and it’s easy interface so I downloaded it. The longest it does is a 30 day fast, but that’s great because all I have to do is start a 10 day fast when the 30 day fast is complete. I like the options it has to create your own fast or to choose from their suggested fast options. The plus is that Suavita gives you body info of what you are experiencing on each day of your fast. This is very motivating! If you’re going to deprive yourself from food, having daily spouts of literature is awesome to keep you going. It also was more than I expected because I was 11hrs into my fast and Suavita gave me the option to track a fast that has already started. I was able to put my time from when I started my fast and Suavita literally starts to track your progress with a realtime countdown towards your goal. I’m very excited for this and very well expect to reach a breakthrough in my life.
Thanks for creating this lovely well thought out app!

Useful with clean interface

Useful app for those that understand the value extended fasting. Suavita cues the stages of the body’s response to a water fast. Seeing the timer progress and having the prompts remind one of some of the benefits is encouraging to a person to work through the minor discomforts. If a person educates themselves about the science and strategies of extended fasting, there’s no reason not to complete a fast as long as your physician clears you health wise. I recommend Suavita to track an extended fast, I’m using it right now and Suavita tells me I’m 20% done, a figure I wouldn’t have calculated myself but that I find motivating!
