I thought this would be a great app. When I open Aquabuildr it immediately opens the settings on my phone. I’m out. Bye.

As the heading said I lost access to Aquabuildr , so I redownloaded now I have to input all of the information on my four tanks. In addition to that I paid for a year and now it’s asking for money to upgrade. And there’s no way to contact anyone to correct this. I will file a dispute with Apple if I can.

Missing a lot of fish species.
Doesn’t allow you to add anything to the tank that’s not in preset drop downs.
Missing some testing parameters.
Might be good for a beginner but I wouldn’t recommend it at this time nor will I be using it. Deleted it.
On top of all the above you have to pay a subscription.
There are way better apps for a fraction of the price and it’s a one time purchase for those.
Save yourself the hassle and try something else.

Very few options for fish species. Water parameters not accurate. Aquabuildr opens my device settings every time it is opened, wanting me to accept push notifications, which I don’t want or need. The entire application seems to be the culmination of half baked ideas. No response for developers when reporting issues.

Aquabuildr could be good but it needs work. Problems when trying to upload image of existing tank. After adding tank inhabitants you can scroll down to see them all. Just 2 of the issues I’ve run into in 5 minutes using Aquabuildr.

Hate to trash anyone’s new app idea but this isn’t good for a beginner hobbyist at all!! It lets you add way more fish than you should put in a tank (example 7 Oscar’s in a 75 gallon). Also the compatibility of the species is way off too, if you were to follow this you’d end up with quite the nightmare. Steer clear and GPT and Google are still your best friend for information.

The user experience is very limiting. Probably great for beginners but not for seasoned aquarists.

I used and enjoyed Aquabuildr for a few days, but ever since one of the updates Aquabuildr is unseeable and I just get a white screen. I emailed support and didn’t get a response. very disappointing because I bought the annual subscription

Aquabuildr will not let me take a picture or upload one despite permissions. Also, there is are limited types of fish to choose from. More specifically in my case, the hypancistrus plecos are not included. I love the idea of Aquabuildr especially for preventing fish abuse. However, in my opinion, before this great idea blows up, it needs to be more complete and less buggy. Otherwise, awesome idea

Great app, I was looking for something to store all my saltwater tank parameters. It would be great if the developer could include metrics for Alkalinity, Calcium, Phosphate, Magnesium, Salinity, etc (all major salt water parameters) so I could track over time.

I’m considering using this app however I’d like axolotl as an option because I’m going to use Aquabuildr with an Axolotl to care for it. Thanks.

A good start…will be even better when more species are added, and maybe more water stats.

Good app. Love the features. I understand it’s in beta testing mode however I would like more species of fish, and for things to load faster.

Probably the best app to set up the aquarium for a newbie like me. It’s confusing at tank owners to get to understand the compatibility issues with fishes I like but kudos to Aquabuildr creator - it help me setup my tank in minutes. Wow unbelievable 👍

App is absolutely amazing, it really explains how to set up a new aquarium/tank for new beginners. It covers almost everything and it’s free. It helps new comers like me understand how to set up a new tank. It helps us through all the tough and complicated parts of setting up an aquarium. Overall amazing.

What was once a good idea that wasn’t quite there is now very usable!!

Still missing some features like tank backups for import/exporting to avoid having to re-enter data, some fish I’d like to see added/supported (like the Hillstream Loach, or many non-bristlenose plecos (like my leopard pleco!)

With this new update, I can finally abandon my spreadsheet!! Thanks for your hard work devs!

This is what I was looking for. I had difficulty dealing with aquarium managers about fish compatibility and gallon size, temperatures and pH value. Aquabuildr is a work of genius minds. Thanks you guys.

Aquabuildr is amazing. Makes it easy and intuitive for me to build my aquarium at home. look forward to seeing what more they come out with.

Aquabuildr is a cool tool to keep track of your tanks parameters, inhabitants, and equipment. It even has basic recommendations when setting up a new tank. Check it out!
