FaceMagic: AI face swap videos Reviews

I wanted to try to see if FaceMagic will work. Instead they want to charge $30 up front. I did it anyways and I’m not thrilled about it. Also they limit you on how many uploads you can do even though you just purchased their yearly subscription. They coerce into buying an additional $30 for below average quality. Most if not all other apps pretty much give you unlimited. As for the tech it was 50/50. Some videos worked great with some pics and others did not. It either was unaligned or the technology couldn’t mesh with side view faces which is disappointing. Fast head movement won’t work accurately. When it did work, the videos with the face forward was perfect. However most if not all videos do not have faces constantly looking at the camera. It’s not worth getting but if you want to try it…. Update: so the developers wrote back and really didn’t resolve any issue. I tried it again and confirmed my issues with FaceMagic is still happening. I think instead of them charging too much for this program they should work on making their software better to justify the amount. However it’s a quick and easy program to use if you don’t care about quality or it’s accuracy to blend seamlessly.

Swaps can be convincing it’s better than most apps. Ease of use is great. However it’s very expensive to be paying monthly and also still be charged a sizable fee to get more uploads

I paid for Pro, which gives you 20 videos and supposedly “unlimited” photos, but after about 20 pics it tells me I have to wait 30 minutes to use again because “too many users are swapping” then tries to shame you by saying “take a break and let others use FaceMagic ” Seriously? I paid $9.99, for unlimited use! False advertising, I feel suckered, which is too bad because it’s a lot of fun minus the limits

FaceMagic tries so hard to milk you of your money. When using the free version you can only create a set amount of swaps a day, any you create will have the watermark on them, and you can only choose from a few videos and photos. Why do we have to pay to do what FaceMagic is meant for? Why can’t we have unlimited amount of swaps with the free videos we’re given? FaceMagic already messes up any face I put on the videos AND fill the screens with their watermark. I’m not paying for mediocre face swapping.

This is WAY better than iFace which hasn’t been updated since the year of the flood, but I hate the fact that you have to pay for uploading your own videos even after you sign up for a year subscription. Other apps, like iFace, have unlimited uploads included in their subscriptions. This should really be fixed because the quality is there, but the value is not.

Even if it’s one day. It’s way to expensive just to try out, especially with the very mixed reviews

If you do even a 1 hour free unlock I’ll try it out and see if I should stick with it.

Also, I’m curious, on pro can I do a 30 minute long video, and do multiple face swaps in the same video? I’m an amateur film maker and if FaceMagic is actually good and can do long videos I may use it

On the whole, I gave 4 points, and the deduction was because of the face change effect. I hope that technicians can speed up the optimization and look forward to seeing better results.     ​    

This is by far the best face swapping app theee is but it’s just way too expensive. You should charge a flat rate monthly or yearly for unlimited uploads for videos rather than have to keep purchasing more. It’s just too much. For that reason I’m gonna have to stick to the other apps but if you ever change to monthly rates I will definitely come back

For the most part FaceMagic works alright. However, being able to add multiple pictures of one person to be used by the software to create the final product would make that final product look a lot better and more accurate, I think? I’m wondering why that’s not an option?

I do not care about all these negative reviews, like honestly they are just high maintenance people who expect everything to be perfect and high speed.

This thing is amazing, if you come across a pic or video you don’t think came out the way you want it, simply use another picture until you get what you want.. Simple, takes time but whatever.

Most of the time it was on point with the first picture I used, so I am happy!

This thing is very accurate and the best app I have ever downloaded and purchased!

It's only for people who pay for their overpriced subscriptions. Don't download FaceMagic because it's garbage. You only get two try on the free version and that it's for the day. Also FaceMagic is a liar and said you use the maximum video ad option when I never used it. Also the face swap doesn't even looks like the picture I uploaded. FaceMagic is trash and nothing but a spyware app that selling your data and information !!!! Do yourself a favorite and delete FaceMagic.

Before I decided to purchase FaceMagic , I decided to try the free feature. Every single time I tried to do a video, it would get to 90% and then tell me that it timed out and couldn't create my creation. Then it tells me that my creations for the day are used up, so I will have to purchase or wait till tomorrow. I will not buy or give a good review of a app that won't even work. Fixed the bug and I'll be happy to use your app, but until then one star is all you get.

FaceMagic worked great, I liked it, I even subscribed to pro to get the unlimited uploads and face swaps, and now since the update, I no longer have the ability to upload and need to buy uploads, so was me buying the pro membership before this new program mean nothing? You can’t let me finish off my month with the features I had signed up for?

It worked when I first downloaded FaceMagic . When I uploaded anything, it the loading bar would go smoothly till 90%, stay there for 15 seconds or so, then upload. Next day comes and I try again. This time, it just gets stuck at 90%. And I’ve waited almost 10 extra minutes, and it would still be stuck there.

Spent around 20$ on FaceMagic. All wasted cause it doesn’t work.

Can you enable longer video length when upload? 15 sec is not enough for me. You can add a subścribe option for the upload alone, like for longer video length and more amount of uploads.​  ‍      

I downloaded FaceMagic and then decided to try premium for a month. I went back into FaceMagic a couple days later and I no longer have it. It has only been about three to four weeks. Good app just need assistance.

You have too little Indian content. It is always those several clips from same movies. When can you add more? Or I can provide you with some.‍ ​ ​​   

Subscribed because of the upload feature, cannot find my fav content in FaceMagic , so I decided to upload my own clips and swap. Work decently!          

Omg! FaceMagic is amazing! I’m super impressed by the AI refacing. At first I was bummed about the 4 hour wait for more refaces, but I actually think that’s a great way to keep people from getting burnt out. 10/10! I love FaceMagic! ​ ‌   ​

Give this a 4.5 star. Take away 0.5 cause the description about the subscription wasn't clear enough. They said the pro subscription only applies to the public and pro pictures/gift/videos, but not the upload service. Which means, you get unlimited for public and pro things, but not uploading your own. Well, I can still afford buying the uploads, but they really need to be clear on that description.‌ ‌    

The face swap results are incredibly realistic, I must praise this point. But why is the supported video length is too short? I need to swap ten-minute videos. Do not wanna edit it into small clips and swap, time-consuming. I hope you can add an unlimited video length option, I am willing to pay for that, no matter how much!  ​ ​  

When I used this app recently, the video could not be loaded. Does anyone else have this problem? And when you change your face, FaceMagic crashes, or the advertisement will freeze. Please quickly improve the product and service. I am running out of my pacience!     

I think the quality of the content needs to be improved. For some videos of 10-20 seconds, there will be only be less than 5 seconds of faceswap. It is too short... Some characters are even too small to see the face change.   ‍  ‍  

I just wanna say that I’m really frustrated. I uploaded the video, everything seems fine, but the progress bar suddenly stopped during the production. I waited for so long and it still didn’t go through. It’s not the problem with my network.​  ‍​

I like to use GIF very much. After I change it, I can use it to chat with my friends, but some of them are not very good, especially some of the lowly expressions have not been restored. I look forward to FaceMagic getting better in a near future.       

Wow, it's so surprising! I actually made so many friends through this app. I like to share my face swap works on ig, and then I have received many likes and comments from netizens. We go to see each other's work every day, and we can also film together, which makes me happy.  ‌     ​‌

It is pretty bad that a pro version does not allow me to upload my own videos or photos. It was the whole point of me buying the pro version. It would be more reasonable if pro version has few times for private uploads.     ​

I can now have a picture with my daughter, she is far away from home. I’m not able to see her due to this covid situation. We usually take a family picture every year, but she cant make it this year, so I created one. It looks real.      

In order to upload the video, I purchased the pro membership, but I'm not satisfied with the face swapping result, it disappointed me. Why is the effect of mine so different from the video published by FaceMagic ? It looks worse. What is the problem?  ​   

Just an advice, maybe include more stuff on the front page? It's just a waste of time scrolling down when there are only 2 pictures shown on the page at a time. Take it or not, its yours.  ​‍ 

I have to say that Mr. Bean's videos are my absolute favourite! I played with all of them - although not all of them come with good effect, I still enjoyed the process. I hope there will be more comedy videos so I can prank my friends with them LOL.       ‌

I studied abroad, and haven’t seen my family for a long time, FaceMagic allows me to face swap all my family members, looks like we stay together at a party. I am crying when wiring this comment, I miss my family...
