I just bought an alocasia stingray plant which was labelled as such when I bought it-it has very obvious “sting-ray” looking leaves & was excited to use AIPlantIdentifier just to know its accuracy…it never got it right! I took multiple photos & ea time it identified as something different-ugh!
This happened w several other plants that I knew-very disappointed as sometimes someone will give me a plant & I need to know what it’s needs are so it can thrive in the right environment. Will be cancelling my free 3-day trial

I feel like this might be a scam since I purchased a year membership and now I can’t even access the dang thing…. I tried using the “contact us” tab and it refuses to send a message. Very disappointing.

This was worthless to me. It basically said all my plants were unhealthy and gave the same diagnosis for all of the 5 different plants I checked. These plants were in different locations and not the same kind. Not even continuing with the free trial!

Do not even consider trying AIPlantIdentifier out unless you want to be scammed!!
They offered a trial period and I didn’t think to much about that because I only needed to ID one plant. Then I never touched that app again. All of a sudden it randomly changed my account $40 without my approval.
They probably have something written in fine print but that’s how they get away with these scams.

I started using AIPlantIdentifier about nine months ago. It did a good job at first of identifying plants. More recently it started misidentifying plants egregiously and most recently cannot detect any photo that I take. And I paid for this. From other reviews, this is clearly not a good site. Going to something better. Would give no stars if I could.

I have had to download AIPlantIdentifier 5 times and pay for 3 of them. When I email someone at evolly, their response is to delete AIPlantIdentifier from my home screen, reinstall it with the same information, and try again. When I did this previously, they charged me again. I just installed it for the fifth time and am hoping that I do not get charged again. Not sure how long I will continue with this one since all this has happened within 2 months.

it didn't work in identifying a group of plants. it is choked with too many distracting ads and continuous push to purchase annual subscription. more annoying than informative ...

The only problem I have is a free trial keeps popping up and I can’t use AIPlantIdentifier . Otherwise I would give it 5 star. The few times I was able to capture an image and identify the plant, it was fantastic.

AIPlantIdentifier identified a different name every time I took a picture of the same plant, is not really accurate but is still cool learning facts about the plant even though it might not be YOUR plant your learning about…. well, it might just be some plants look a lot alike so it might be more accurate with another type of flower/ plant picture than mine specifically but IDK…
