New Convoluted App. Don’t do it!!

First review I have ever written on anything in my life. I am 59 years old. I wish I could give zero stars, but there is no option for that. I downloaded BushnellTrailCameras as suggested and used it for three days trying to be open in an effort to get accustomed to it. In order to use it in the evening I had to wait and wait and wait for the pictures to load. I finally got out of it and tried later and again later, and again. In order to delete pictures there are several more button pushes than there was before with the last app and then to go back and look at pictures to zoom you have to go out of the window to delete and go back to looking at pictures and then go back into deleting. It’s crazy! I finally deleted the new revision! I went back to the old system from October 2021. I will deal with opening BushnellTrailCameras , clicking on the green window suggesting to download the new version, then closing the window and going back into the old app to use the system that way. Why would somebody convolute a new revision?

Never connects in the evening!

Been a Bushnell customer for years! Prior to updating BushnellTrailCameras it seemed that my friends and I couldn’t connect to BushnellTrailCameras in the evening. I was hoping with the update that issue would be rectified.. not! Now at least we get a message that the attempt timed out whatever that means. Very disappointing season after season during the rut you can’t access your cameras through BushnellTrailCameras . It would also be great if you could trigger the camera to take a picture, might be time to move on from Bushnell.

Not bad

New app interface. No noticeable new functionality. However, seems I am however unable to manage the PIR sensor sensitivity.

Can we get the ability to trigger a picture on the next report interval? So during periods of inactivity we can confirm the camera is behaving properly and that there has in fact been low activity.

Any thoughts about a partnership or integration with OnxHunt app??

Core20

Why died core 20 work well for a while then go on vacation while batteries and card good

Stay CLEAR of Bushnell Game Cameras

I've reached out to Bushnell MULTIPLE times and they've ignored me each time.

CelluCore20 is TRASH. Despite being set to send pics immediately (cell signal shows good, fresh batteries) it sends pics whenever or feels like it - sometimes days later. I can't get Bushnell to stand behind their product

Also - in my subscription (which I'll be cancelling) or clearly states I get video downloads. Once they updated BushnellTrailCameras in Nov 2021 - I get an error EVERY time I try to. Getting Hi Res images takes DAYS

If you like things that don't work and don't want the manufacture to stand by their product - maybe it's the right product and app for you.

Just a complete waste of money and time

Otherwise good

New app shows notification of new photos as now what I have for actual new photos, but rather the total number of photos that have come through since I started using the new app. Kind of annoying, defeats the purpose of having notifications turned on.

Loads slowly, if at all!

Tap BushnellTrailCameras to open and it takes forever. Have tried q 10-15 times today and it’s actually opened properly twice. Tried on WiFi and cellular, horrible on both. Hope I can switch back to the old app just so I can see the pics from my cameras. $50 per month and can’t even get my pics wirelessly thanks to this crappy app.

👎🏻

The number of pictures on BushnellTrailCameras icon just keep going up even after opening BushnellTrailCameras and viewing pictures. Also after opening BushnellTrailCameras it shows I have one notification but when clicking on it says there is nothing.

By

Pretty useless

The description says you can access cameras and perform several tasks…but you can’t access cameras at all. You can register your camera and sign up for a subscription plan but that’s it. To access cameras you have to go to the website and sign in with your email and password. Not sure what good BushnellTrailCameras really is.

User friendliness

This new, supposedly improved app isn’t intuitive as the “”Legacy” as it is called. I have yet to figure out how to enlarge the photos as in the original app. The little version of pics make it difficult for my old eyes to see details as were evident on the original app.

By

This “new” app is terrible!

I have tried every suggestion from the company to enlarge a picture so I can see it. This new app has such tiny pictures on the tablet and on the phone no fun to use anymore.

We have been a bushnell fan for years and the camera was easy to set up but please go back to the old app!

Never will open!

Downloaded this after they said the new one was made and it has been nothing but crap. Never opens have to retry all the time. Can’t believe that they are a huge company but they can’t have a good app! Half tempted to get rid of all of the cameras and switch brands so I can get to see my pictures

Alerts

My app will not clear the alerts even though I have looked at every picture. Frustrating to see 200+ photo notifications that will not go away. 😡

Great App!

Improved functionality and easy to use!

If it ain’t broke…

Why make a new app when the original worked fine! The new app is less intuitive and the pictures are way too small to view on an iPad/tablet. Pleas scrap BushnellTrailCameras and go back to the original. And should have a real landscape view!

By

Great app!!

Nice clean look and easier to use than the older app!

A step backwards for iPads

What a disappointment!! PLEASE let me keep the only one. Use iPad, super small screen, smaller picture views, even on iPhone. Won’t switch to landscape mode like old one.
Maybe have hunters test before pushing this out.

By

Poor connectivity

App sporadically connects to your pictures. One minute it’s fine and then for hours it says session timed out. Very unreliable if you want real time viewing of your photos.

By

New App

New app is slow to load, usually fails to load and requires multiple attempts to get new pictures. Disappointed in the new app…old one worked.

By

Poor pics poor app

Sorry but this is almost a horrible camera, I’ve had several different cams and although it is somewhat better than SPYPOINT, SPYPOINT takes better photos than this, and BushnellTrailCameras sucks…. Only thing it’s good for is it seems to be reliable on trigger but poor quality photos.
