With a 5.0 rating and placing high on Apple’s download list, I was ready for a better Mahjong game. And the tiles looked nice, too!

But so very disappointed…. And amazing to see the 5 stars! I find gameplay extremely curtailed and slowed by the exploding stardust happening, following any play. The glitter fallout lasts long enough and spreads far enough that it interferes and, sadly, unnecessarily, interferes with intuitively playing any next two to match. Sad to say, I must delete.

Also, the tile size displays a bit large to comfortably read on my 12.9” iPadPro. It’d have to be held at an unwieldy arms-length not to cause a strain on the eyes.

The ads are terrible! I have seen the same ad multiple times that pretends to be a part of the game’s notification system, and it takes you to some scam gift card website, DO NOT CLICK IT.

Also, it told me my app had an update in one of the ads, but it was just you promoting your other mahjong game! 😡

Younger children and old people may fall for these tricks, and you know it. I would not recommend this scam of a game to anyone!!! 👎👎

The company support button is either broken or nobody actually works there. The game is a lot of fun but I have spent too much money and when the ap for some reason started processing my payments but not giving me my purchases, I chalcked it up to it being the weekend, different time
Zones etc. I’m very disappointed because I did love this game. On the upside. I’m no longer spending money. I’m just waiting to see if I can get reimbursed through PayPal now who I feel confident in.

Ads drive me nuts on this one! If not perfect game: takes 8-10 ads or redo. Each ad is over 30 seconds, one is a full minute and the Oprah ad is difficult to close… really sick of seeing her! Then, esp. If early morning… says NO ad ready?? REALLY? If so, then that’s on you! I should not have to wait when YOU can’t sell an ad! I’m ditching this nonsense if no improvement this week.

Seriously, way way way way toooooo many ads. To the point that I’ve downloaded other mahjong games so I can actually PLAY the game. And when I say “too many ads”, I don’t just mean “a lot of ads”. I mean, ads that last from 60 to 90 seconds EACH. And 2 at a time. Literally, after each play, you have to sit thru 120 to 180 seconds of advertisements. The only way around it is to force quit the entire game. You’ll have to do this anywhere between 1-3x (it varies) before you can begin a new game. It’s a shame, became the haptics, animations, etc. are cool. It’s a fun version of the game, but screw that. There are a million other versions of mahjong you can download. Do nearly all of them have ads? Sure. But they are like 12 seconds long and they are 1-2x every 5-6 games. No joke, play one game of MahjongClub, then look at the bottom left when the ad plays and you’ll see a 60 second countdown. For the 1st* ad. It’s absurd. Such a waste.

After playing over 1000 puzzles there is little to no spice left in this game. Minus .5

I like the pictures behind each session. Plus .5

I don’t like that I earn coins everyday and they only buy me the right to spend my money in the store. Minus .5

I keep gathering wisdom but it means nothing. It does nothing and it has no purpose. Nor is there any explanation. Minus .5

My piggy bank was full after only a few hundred games. That is also worthless as I won’t spend coins I get playing the game so again worthless.
Minus .5

The puzzles aren’t timed and there seems to be no reward for playing well and fast. Boring.
Minus .5

Ads are very long and sometimes contain no way to close them. I have to start the game over and/or turn off my WiFi to be rid of them. Minus .5

Daily gift is mostly useless coins so again minus .5

I love this version of online mahjong, which offers lots of interaction between players if you join a strong team, lots of variations for getting points, weekly competitions/tournaments, etc. But MahjongClub itself is definitely inferior developmentally/support-wise. Game hangs up on ads, screen blinks out/kicks you out halfway through a game level repeatedly so that you have to start over again, tournament results which used to take minutes to come through are now still not available twelve hours later. I've heard from my team's members around the world that all have the same problems, so it's not just me! There are definitely technical support and developmental issues across the board. Very sad, as this is the best version of online mahjong that I've played.

When you decide to pay for MahjongClub , it suddenly changes all of the bonuses you would typically earn through playing. Suddenly you don’t earn the extra rewards to use towards a tournament, etc. Then you must pay more to buy these added benefits. Whereas before, your playing and advancing was enough. At least give me the opportunity to watch ads to earn these. That was even taken away. Strange way to hook someone. For me it is having the opposite effect The prices on the packages are also much much higher than they should be.

This would be a great game if not for all the ads that you claim you won’t have in this game!
I went as far as to purchase the NO ADS version and IM STILL BEING BOMBARDED WITH ADS?!
Please fix this for me!
You also claim on your solitaire game that you don’t need WiFi and there’s no ads but SURE ENOUGH… you have ADS!!
I just want what I purchased through Apple Pay and I now can’t even see that choice so it obviously went through yet you’re STILL FORCING ME TO SEE ADS?!
Is there something terribly wrong with your game?
You don’t even provide a proper way to contact your company. All we’re allowed to do is send a message. There is no email address you have no customer service phone number or anything.
I definitely feel as though I was ripped off, but I’m giving you the benefit of doubt to please fix this for me.
I don’t think any of your players would appreciate that being done to them so if there is a glitch, please fix it as soon as possible. Otherwise, I want my money back.

Despite messages sent in app support and facebook messenger there has been no response.

The issue started when I logged in with Apple ID for additional coins.

It gave me the coins, I played for about half hour, went to go take care of emails and when I went back it was saying there is another player logged into another device (not so) and if I continued it would reset and I’d go back to level 1.

I love this game, but having problems with game going offline , just during weekend tournament. Not just for a few minutes, hours, or even a whole day. Lose bolts, & at the end of the tournament my team comes in first, no coins, I come in first in individual, no coins. This has happened several weekends I a row, & not just me, most of my team mates too. No replies from you when we send complaints to support. A couple of times you sent us all coins, but coins cant buy the lost bolts. We have to buy bolts with our own money. Please help.

I really like this game. I had it not too long ago when I went to the multiple hundreds of games played and I decided to start it over. Now I’m very sad that I did. I can only play a game or two and then the stupid diet ad for Kelly Clarkson keeps coming up and I can’t get it to go away. It keeps sending me to an ad page. It’s very disappointing that I had to delete the game again. This time for good.

I really like the game and it is very relaxing. The only issue that I have is the ads. Now, I get that you need some ads, but this is getting annoying. After every single game, there is an ad. You can click on the left arrows to somewhat skip, and then wait for the “x” to exit, but I don’t think you need an ad between every game! Then every level has an ad that you can’t “x” out of….getting very annoying. Some games decrease the ads as you get higher in levels, but not this game.

Game is great but there are problems, especially with the club system. The chat system is also hideous and limited. The worst thing is the anti-Apple user bias. There are many things that Apple users can’t see or participate in. Considering that Apple users make up close to half of the users (at least in the US), this is a big problem. You can get kicked from clubs for minimums or rules you don’t know exist because they only show up for Google Play users. And then there are the ads, especially the epileptic-inducing flashy ones that destroy the “zen” of the game. You can buy an ad-free version, which I would recommend.

I enjoy playing mahjong but this game has to many ads for other games if I wanted to play other games that’s what I would be doing, also when you try to exit out of the ads it has like a ten second delay before you can do so. When your at the end of playing a round of mahjong instead of automatically shuffling the system ask you to start over or use 250 of your points to shuffle, if you have multiple free shuffles available to use why do I have to use my points or start over? The system won’t allow me to use the shuffles I’ve earned.

Not even like other games that let you can go to dailey challenge and pick up some quick coins if you get stuck in levels. This game blocks the screen and you cant play anymore unless you begin the entire level over or make a purchase .
Most the games i play i purchase no adds and and usually a a purchase r 2 a month but im a pretty good player really and dont like being forced into purchasing a free game . Going to look for a better option.

Also liked the club ..im sure all the free games have a club or tournament ill like just as well

I love playing this game. My husband and myself both downloaded MahjongClub . I played up level 92 with no issues. Next thing I know I was thrown into a tournament. I deleted MahjongClub and reloaded it again. I played up to level 68 and again I was thrown into a tournament. Thinking the third time is a charm; I started another game and again was in a tournament. Please help! I just want to play the game without joining a tournament.

I've been using this Game for years. In all that time I've never had it do what it's doing now. Right in the middle of a game it goes black. There's no Ad, it doesn't time out, there's no X in the corner, no way at all to move forward to get back to the game you were on. I have to swipe off, and wait at least 5 minutes and reopen it and start over, I can't continue the game I was playing. I can't be the only one who has this problem with this game. And it doesn't happen on ANY OTHER GAME. Please do your best to fix this problem. BTW, I have already deleted it and reinstalled it and had to start from the beginning and lost all my accumulated data. Not happy.

The game’s enjoyable but not quite worth the time spent to indulge in due to the abundance of ads. I seem to spend more time dealing with ads than the game especially when it takes so much effort to get them to go away so I can get to the game. Would be more motivated to play if the ads showed up after several games had been played but I have had to endure as much as 3 ads before I could play one game. Don’t wish to waste that much time on ads. So I only play once in awhile and not more than 1 or 2 games.

I got tired of the constant ads - before the game, to earn points, etc. so I deleted MahjongClub . Then I decided to reinstall it and pay for the initial cost. Not quite so many ads, but still! This was supposed to remove them. Now there is a wheel to spin to gain coins, BUT every spin is a 60 sec ad. I sent a message to ask to be reinstated to the club where my name appeared. No answer yet.

You don’t get too far in the levels before you have ads after every level. It’s annoying so I deleted the game. Also i am not a real fan of the shuffle when you don’t have any moves left. I would prefer to be given the option to shuffle or replay the level to see if you can do better

I enjoy this game but all the sudden an ad got stuck and it will not go away. There’s no arrow to move n or x to click. I have to uninstall and try again. Hopefully my club doesn’t disappear! Ugh…! I was just having so much fun! Please fix that.

After a few weeks, it started locking up where it would just disappear. The whole working screen just would go blank. Now over the last couple of weeks it has gotten so bad that it does it about every two or three games. Multiple requests have been sent to the manufacturer and they don’t bother to reply or acknowledge receipt at all. They don’t seem to care.
So not only are the constant ads, annoying and the constant re-shuffles but this business about losing your game Midway and having to start over is very irritating and I think you might be better off finding a different mah-jongg game.

I really enjoy this game, but I have never received coins I attempted to purchase, 3 times. Money left my account just fine, but coins never showed up in my game. I contacted them and was told to update my game and that should fix it. Nope. I won’t risk another purchase and when I run out, I will move on.

This is a nice appealing app. I gave it a 3 because of lack of options. You can only play the next game in line, no pick and choose. You can’t restart a game or take back a move. You play until there are no more moves and then it automatically shuffles. You can’t play another game or restart this one. Just no options. Otherwise I’d give it a 5.

Fantastic game, beautiful graphics. Makes me think and plan ahead as in Chess. Has been crashing as of late. Agree with other reviews there are WAY TOO MANY ads, understand Bill paying relys on ads but, why screw up a fantastic game!!!! Just discovered after playing for along time that a couple more ads and there would be no game just an ad board.😫😫

This game is so addictive that I play it during every few inutes I can find during the day. However - the ads are w-a-y too intrusive. I have to watch two ads just to get to the game itself, then somewhat randomly until it’s done. But that’s not the worst of it. I finally get through the game and the “collect” icon comes us. It locks into place so that I can’t get to the next level. That negates the timing of the “Tourneys.” I’m stuck, so that takes me out of the competition. Very frustrating.

This worked fine for three days. Today I did the daily challenge. After I completed it the next three games I attempted to play sizzled and crashed closed. I progressed steadily until that happened. Not worth my time

Downloaded MahjongClub and was enjoying it as a stress relief project Was totally enjoying it until a invite pops up that ask you to join the Mahjong Club when you try to enter to move on through this it shows up “error - no longer available “. When you attempt to exit this pop up you are stuck It leaves you no choice but to delete MahjongClub completely and start from the beginning. If you dig deeper it appears that MahjongClub has a hack built into it or there’s an issue with the program

This is the first time I’ve played this game! I love it!! I don’t understand why some cards can’t be played when they are the same. I have to use the unlock to get started. Also, the ads between the games are very annoying. How can I get rid of them? Thank you!

I love this game and have been playing daily. Between rounds this morning, the tournament went “offline” and has not come back. I was leading at the time and suddenly was locked out. I just get a message asking me to connect to the Internet. Frustrating.

I love this game. I play all the time. My complaint is the commercials that run but screen goes white and throws you out of game. You have to disconnect and then turn on again to play. After the 4th time tonite l am turning off wi fins do just play the game. You can’t win the competition but a lot stressfull!i hope this glitch is fixed soon. Thank you

It’s a good app, but a few things could be improved by a bit of tweaking. I’ll give a more thorough overview later, but my main complaint is that it has to be played vertically and doesn’t allow for users to switch to landscape mode/horizontal mode in settings.

Great graphics. Smooth play. Every game’s not a win, but there are assists that can get you out of a bind. There are constant events and competitions throughout the week that earn you points.
Didn’t like the fact the company did not respond to my request for help when my old phone went bad, and I lost all my progress and had to restart on the new phone when I was unable to recover from the old phone. All and all, great game and time passer.

This is one of the best Mahjongg games I have played! It exercises my eyes too and I love the graphics too. I love learning about other countries around the world and now I have seen some places around the world that I did not know before!

I absolutely love Mahjong games and Mahjong Club is one of my favorites so far I love that you have daily challenges. The only thing that I don’t like is if it needs to be reshuffled, you have to use one of your shuffle, but if you’re playing it does auto reshuffle automatically if there’s no more moves, that would be my only complaint. but other than that, I absolutely love the game. I recommend this game if you love Mahjong as much as I do.

Love playing this one. It’s very easy. I like it better than most cause the tiles are closer to the screen and in front of you and you can see them. No weird angles. It has settings so you can get add free, but the ads are not bad at all. Highly recommend MahjongClub.

My wife loves this game but she’s been getting a pop up saying, “Storage is full” on her iPad. This is the only time she gets that alert and happens about every for or five days. The pop up says to go to App Store and get a cleaner. We checked and she has plenty of storage—only half full. It may be that this game is loading too many ads in the background. Don’t know.

My only complaints about MahjongClub are the ads for other apps interrupts the zen feeling I get from playing this game and as a long time mahjong player it feels like cheating when it shuffles the tiles. When you have no more moves in real mahjong you don’t get to move the tiles around to help you clear the board. It’s part of the challenge of the game to choose your moves carefully so you don’t run into a dead end with tiles left. This version insures you will clear the board every time regardless of skill level.

I really like the game and the team competitions, but on several competitions I have lost all of my rewards, even some that I had purchased. I sent notice to MahjongClub support but didn’t receive any acknowledgment. Please fix all the issues so I we as a whole team receives the rewards due to us.

I’ve tried several of the other Mahjong games offered on line and this one is the only one I keep going back to. It’s graphics are wonderful and it’s FREE. It offers a challenge with every new screen. Some are easier than others, but all of them keep me interested and well satisfied at the end. I sure hope that like so many others, it doesn’t morph into a pay as you play, full of ads and interruptions kind of bore.

I am having a problem lately with MahjongClub shutting down after a short amount of playing time. It has just started doing this about a week ago. Screen goes entirely black and I usually have to restart phone to get it back. Any suggestions?

I really love that you don’t have to join and play against people online unless you want to I also love they don’t bombard you with ads like other games (I’m so sick of royal match ads) the graphics are great and it has some really great in game options.

The best mahjong game I’ve played. Tiles are easy to see,l for this senior; the background of places around the world fascinating. The ads are very brief, never disruptive. I love the various game challenges, especially fun to find the lovely animated butterflies! BEST OF ALL: You can join a club, and my club is the best of all game clubs I have ever been in! Thank you, devs!

Except when an ad for Royal match comes up I can’t see the ad except the banner at the bottom, so I can’ t close the add and play the game.
I have to close MahjongClub and reopen to play.

it’s a very funny game don’t get me wrong i play every time i get bored at work or bored in the car. Just so you know though some levels get tricker then others but it’s okay it’s still fun to play and it’s completely free too and has some ads but oh well.
