I have been a long time free style basketball players on pc for both 1 and 2. Coming to this game I noticed few bugs, character balance issues, and defense system flaws.

1. Bugs:

Kamil and Justin’s dribbling bugs have been there ever since I started playing this game about 4 months ago. Dev does not seem to care to fix it, I have seen people spamming in ladder which is just dumb.

2. Character balance issues:

They just released Jessica who was capable of running the entire half court and no one was able to put up the D with her because of the game is greedy that wants to boost the sale so more people can purchase this broken character. Then after a week, dev just nerfed the crapped out of her that no one is playing her anymore on ladder.

3. Defense system flaw:

You ANKLES should not be broken if you are defending on the same path where the offense character is going! You guys need to fix this dumb defense system flaw. This never happens on both fs1 and fs2.

Overall the game is p2w, you can still play the game if your skill is top tier. The bugs, defense system flaw, and character balance is ruining game itself. It could’ve been a good game if the dev team actually cares.

So where to start? This game is a complete cash grab. Every way you turn they want you to spend money and it’s not just small transactions either. Once you do this you have to gamble the currencies you purchase which goes straight down the drain. The pull rates are worst than winning the lottery in real life. They have it set up that you have no chance of getting the good items unless u are spending hundreds of dollars which is just silly and greedy. I don’t recommend this game at all you are better off downloading the 2k game at least u will occasionally get what u spend your money on. DEVELOPERS this game can be so great STOP BEING SO GREEDY! Increase pull rates to a fair amount. Also characters shouldn’t cost more than a brand new game on console for god sakes. The logic here is insane. I hope your game crashes and burns and your company goes bankrupt for the scam you guys are pulling.

I was hoping to have a good Streetball game. However the shot system is trash. You have a bar in mid shot yellow with a size green bar that’s smaller the farther you get from the goal. And I tell you, you can have it lined up perfectly in the green and still miss, I just dunked 4x back to back and they all bounced off the rim. So if the game choose you to lose you lose. However, I doubt it’s that simple as a chance of luck. I did not spend a penny in game and I think that’s the problem. Characters have stats. Different players and court positions have different stats. If your toon isn’t set stat to shoot 3s you’ll miss, so yea your center will be like Shaq. You need to spend to enjoy this game. Therefore i give this a 1 star. I had hopes for this game now it’s just another deleted game.

In my opinion this game is alright. It has Ik mechanics shot needs a little improvement but in my opinion there’s not enough to this game. If anyone has ever played Basketrio before this game tried to do what it couldn’t… Basketrio had poor matchmaking. You could be with someone out of your league or wait 5 minutes to play for about 2 minutes, sometimes even longer. This game did improve on that. But Basketrio had a lot better features. Characters were more customizable, there was more progression, and your character could have different assets based on their positions. Street ball all star needs to have more features for their game to be more comparable to Basketrio. It needs a more features in game. Like when u have a green wide open it will most likely go in. You can have different skills for dribbling, special dunks, more complex characters, and more interactive buttons when your in a game. Like a dash. In my opinion Basketrio is better than this game when you finally get into a match. It think with a few added features and some fixes this game could be just as good.

This game is very fun, you can play with your friends, start clans, and play real people. WHY DO YOU HAVE TO MAKE EVERYTHING COST MONEY?! Don’t get attached to this game because you’ll be spending so much money on useless buffs and upgrades just to not make a shot and have someone with an SS character make every single shot and you’ll get out rebounded and blocked by every PF in the game. This game on the surface is amazing, but when you start playing and realizing that you can’t go anywhere without spending hundreds of dollars on crap just to compete, you’ll lose interest fast, who thought this was okay? And not to mention you need not 1, not 2, not 3, BUT 5 DIFFERENT TYPES OF CURRENCY TO LEVEL UP YOUR GARBAGE CHARACTER, IT TAKES OVER $200 TO MAX OUT YOUR CHARACTER, THIS IS NOT NORMAL

For this game to basically be pay to win y’all need to fix the mechanics in the game no way shooting green shots wide open still miss or even just shooting green will still miss specially when I have upgraded a character who specializes in shooting threes will still miss a wide open 3. Also the ranking system needs to be fixed i don’t understand how I can be playing with a ranked C character but I get matched up against 3 SS class this game is fun but gets irritating spending money to lvl up characters and it still does nothing overall. Lastly your PF’s are OP it doesn’t make sense that every pf is better than my centers n almost every stat if anything make the centers do more cuz the get out rebounded out boxed out and do more spectacular things in game than centers right now as it stands it’s no reason to even get a center

I hate the fact that y’all added this it’s a option to but characters but we can use them if someone else ban it for the game but u want to use ur own character with the money u bought it with now u can t use them I don’t matter how many ppl using that same character in on game they bought it now we have to use a whole different character it’s not fair if we like Pacific player we should be able to use them then trying to find matches in 3v3 regular game is hard to find ppl cuz nobody have 2 players to play with them YALL should add 2v2 while having 3v3 I will be better I hate the banning player thing in ladder I spend a lot of money so y’all can make this like that it not fair definitely when someone ban the character you trying to use on purpose then u lose a star or rank down it’s not fair :( please change this

I upgrade Big Mike to SS and he still gets out-rebounded by A grade Emma, Amy, & Rocket. I had to purchase Emma just to get rebounds and spent more money on upgrades. It gets much worse if you try to climb the ladder in Diamond rank lobbies, It has this ban/pick system for the characters and each player from each team gets to ban a character from letting everybody else use that character and it has a timer and once that timer is done, you can only choose whatever character left and if you don’t have any other good character and that character is not leveled up to SS, you are more likely to lose on diamond ranked matches. I stopped playing when the game basically told me to buy more characters in order to win matches and stay competitive. The game was fun to me until platinum where I only had to spend money on like 1-2 characters but if you’re looking to get past diamond rank, Then you’re gonna have to spend more money on characters and upgrades. If you don’t mind spending a couple hundred on each character and character upgrades, then this game is for you. Sure you watch ads to get resources to upgrade characters but that process is long and I had to spam the watch ad button multiple times for it to load a video. The street legend story is short and it doesn’t give you much rewards to upgrade your character. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this game to any casual gamer unless they don’t mind spending alot of money.

I don’t like how once you get to diamond you must have 8 characters to continue playing ladder because then that means you have to spend some decent money to get characters because of how expensive they are. Battle mode I don’t like how you can have SS on your team but the other team have an A rating or even a c rating and the characters always just get obliterated when your not playing them if my characters are that high in rank half the stuff that happens shouldn’t happen. Overall it’s a good game if you want to spend money to continue because once you get so high in rank you have to spend money to get there and then spend more money to get past it.

I like the game a lot. But the problems are first, blocking. It’s annoying how a center who I’m guessing is 6, 9 can be blocked every time they take a shot against a point guard who looks 5,11. Why do I have a girl less than half my height blocking nearly every shot I ever take from 7 feet away. Second is it feels kind of pay to win. Seriously you have to have 6,999 gems to get one good player. That will literally make you grind and watch 20 videos that only give you 10 gems for a month. So the game really does encourage paying money to get some unfair set of abilities or some new player. Third problem is, it’s infuriating when you always have that 1 player on your team that is the definition of a ball hog. You could be wide open and they will still just dribble in circles and try to take meaningless 3pt shots. It drags your rank down, because you never get the chance to touch the ball. Match making is also annoying. It will put a team of all C and B ranked players vs a team of all S and SS ranked players so you get wiped aside the entire match. Which just makes the entire match a living nightmare for one team. Its a great game but taking shots are off, it’s like rolling a dice to see if you will make it, or if it magically bounces out of the hoop for no reason.

1st off I get matched up with noobs or ball joggers who cannot shoot it’s annoying when you open and they got 2 guys on them the dribble until the shot clock out, shoot bad shots, or stand there and get ripped 2nd off (MOST IMPORTANT) why is my players missing greens wide open it makes no sense shouldn’t my shot % go up when I’m open but when the rival them is open doesn’t matter what rank or level they still make it don’t get me wrong I make them sometimes but that’s after make players is hot once I miss after that he can shoot no more why is that Last off why can players steal or block u from far away it make no sense I can be wide open and they can be on the side of me and still block me it’s annoy or when I’m diving to the rim I get ripped when I’m open in the paint every time Don’t get me wrong I like the game a lot this game has a lot of potential I’m not gonna sit up here say it’s like 2k it is nothing like 2K nothing like 2K but it could be like 2K if it works harder at what their doing They can get the game we all like

There’s no reason why anyone should be missing wide open shots with not a soul nearby. The amount of times I’ve played ladder and have lost due to missing because of wide open GREEN TIMED shots just for them to rim out is ridiculous. Even if I were to put money into this game, that just makes it a pay-to win for me and I just want to have fun and play based on good game planning. Also the amount of people on here that spam the same move over and over with a good contested shot going in is ridiculous. I know some players have abilities that make them not miss as much but that in it self just makes the game less fun IMO and more about paying 3k diamonds to get a good player and then pay to level them up. Good game overall but yeah I think there are definitely some tweaks that need to be made with the shooting.

I LOVE all of the character choices/prices varying ..however, What is up with THE COINS!!!!??? It is soooo hard to earn them, even WITh all of the rewards (lots of cool rewards) .. I just feel it makes it much tougher for ppl who cannot afford or choose not to make in-game purchases when it’s impossible to level up normal OR paid characters bc they are so hard to earn/get!! I had a couple of dollars left on my gift card & was going to buy some until we realized there is not even an option to buy them!? So I know you guys are not being greedy .. I think developers legit forgot to add coin options!? So pleeeaaseee add more coin rewards + make it possible to purchase them because this is CRaazzzzyy !! Otherwise, it is a fantastic game! Thank You! PS: The stats should be a little more technical. I feel like they are not always consistent with gameplay! Example: There are times when my character seems to have more skill at a lower level vs. high. Not TOo often but it happens!! * I will write a better/more thorough review later..

Boa has the boosted ability diving steal but it hardly works even with basically maxing ability out and having all stealing stats high, even with characters assisting with stealing stats it still nearly works. The ability needs a big buff because if it already says more effective that a regular steal then also maxing it out with the probability increased and whether I spam or time diving steal the percentage is so random it needs a huge buff to balance the game out. The reasons for having boosts is so that characters can be useable and have something to compete against others so people play smarter, but there is some characters that just are not as effective as others. This needs to be sorted. Also neko has quick steal that needs a huge buff because that should be super effective more than a regular steal but it hardly works. These two characters need a huge buff to be more effective in game especially against high dribbling characters that also have the ability to not be disturbed because there is no real characters to stop those and the big centers and power forwards that can dunk.

I honestly hated this game at first, but then I spent some money and it helped. In the “league” battles it’s mixed with all the ranks, which makes it hard as a beginner to get a good score against them. It’s not impossible though, and it mostly my impatience that pushed me to purchase where if I waited another hour I would have had the same stuff for free.
On the bright side, it’s decently easy to get gems and there’s nice amount of ads to get your missing parts. The main reason why this is 4 stars is because of how the ladder (league) works. If you lose a single battle, it causes you to lose a rank. It’s hard to get continuous wins when your teammates don’t pass (there are a lot of ball hogs).
A lot of times it happens where I get the highest score out of both teams yet still go down a rank because my teammates weren’t doing their part. If you made it where your rank improved/decreased based your individual score, it would be a lot better.
The biggest problem is how unpredictable shots are. I’ll shoot perfectly in the middle with no one around me and it will still rebound. Blocking is also incredibly difficult to do.

Overall this game is awesome! Definitely recommend it is a game that has a fair amount of characters so you don’t have to stick to one character the whole game I love the fact that they even have a ladder mode which is basically rank then they have a 3x3 which is non ranked which allows new players to get better. Now it is pay to win if you want to become a good player most people say which is a lie this is a game that people pay to win cause they won’t grind I’ve had 2 different now 3 accounts and the first 2 I mained a point guard. Being one of the worst scoring positions I was easily leveling my character with out a dime spent if you can get people to play with to it’s even better I feel like they should add less limited money things tho because with the level up one which can get you around 4k gems if you don’t spend a single one you can get a good character pretty fast leveling up to 17 is extremely easy after that it’s get hard fast. I recommend changing the leveling system to be just a little easier! That’s all I have to say great game keep up with the work!

I initially said this game was poorly made based on its shot system. I stand by that. I’ve played about 100 matches now and spent a lil bit of $. The game is okay aside from a few set backs. Orange disturbance shouldn’t go in as often as it does. That means you were playing good defense, but not enough for it to be severe disturbance. But certain SF’s and SG’s will make almost always on orange. Havoc G and Koi. It’s almost like these dudes make contested shots more often that they do when they are wide open. I play rocket who is a power forward but I’ll miss wide open green mid range shots. I get that he’s a rebounder and a dunker, but I shouldn’t Brick every single mid range shot if I’m wide open and hit the shot meter in the green. Big mike….so many scrubs use this dude, just walk into the paint and dunk on your head. He should be easier to strip. A few tweaks and this game would be money! Love the global chat function, keeps me laughing. Emoting during games is hilarious. Love the replay system, you can even watch replays of games you didn’t take part in, and gift players inside of the replay. There was a lot of attention to detail with this game, the little things make it worth playing, but some of the core functions need to be fine tuned. Kinda frustrating, but fun especially if you can find cool people to play with. Overall I give this game 4/5 stars and would recommend it to any of my friends who enjoy basketball games.

So I am a player from the Slam Dunk mobile game and that game scammed me, and blocked my account, when I had supported them in order to awaken my players. In other words, no matter what, that game forces u to spend money and the game has horrible ranked match wait times unless u make custom ranked team matches. This game however is ftp friendly if u grind enough and the exclusive low deals doesn’t even price gouge u newly so that proves this game is here to entertain fans of Streetball and not necessarily to get rich. Now I still spent like $20 so far on the game but have a gr8 account where in Slam Dunk I spent around $200 in a 6 month period and my account was still booboo

This game is extremely addictive !! One of my favorite games for sure !! Makes it easy for everyone to play which should be a little more competitive but overall this game is A1!!
If only they could add better affordable varieties of stuff to buy like more skins or clothes instead of so much level up food and tournaments or events where we could compete for prizes like skins or Characters or clothes would take this game up another notch . Come all stars reward us players who actually play and spend money on this game on daily basis !!

Great game but y’all making it a pay to win, yes I spend a lil but make it fair to everyone who doesn’t have money and wants to enjoy your game, also y’all should make new courts, basketballs, shoes, and put clothing items in the mall and not make everything cost rubies, and I realized that people stop playin after their club get jerseys add sum that makes a club want to keep going and playing to be the best, all the money we spend on your game it’s the least y’all can do. Great game keep it up
