This is the WORST experience I’ve ever had with a rental agency, I live in a disgusting over priced apartment and because they do everything through Zendoor or text any maintenance emergency/request gets habitually ignored- it took A MONTH TO GET TREATMENT FOR BED BUGS!! THEY LIED TO ME AND SAID THEY CAME AND REFUSED TO SEND ANY EVIDENCE OR RECIEPTS. please if you are considering this company, be homeless instead

It is impossible to get ahold of this company. They will not communicate with you. They have no actual office. My wife and I were considering moving into a property they manage, and I had to threaten to cancel my application fee and do a claim with the bank to get anyone to talk to me. I thought this company was a scam initially because no one would return my calls. They all but refuse to let you tour the properties before you apply, and even after you apply! With an application pending, and after the current tenant moved out, they said we could view it. We contacted this app to set up a tour. We didn’t hear back from them for 3 weeks, so we went with someone else. RUN.

Do not rent from this app. You are never allowed to call them. Text only. If they don’t want to talk with you, they simply don’t text back. You have no management to call. There is also no emergency line. Our air conditioning and water have both gone out at a new apartment and there is no way to contact anyone except for hope and prey for a text back. No after hours line nothing. We’ve been trying to move out for over a month now and still have yet to get a call or text from the property manager. Stay away from this company!

Worst experience I have ever had with a company. You can’t call or speak to anyone for assistance, takes days to get responses via text but yet they keep requesting residents to give them reviews, big mistake! Manager is incompetent herself and does not respond and if she does, gives false information! I strongly recommend not moving into one of their properties as they are awful and don’t know what they are doing!!!

Worst management company. We did not have a/c in 115 degree heat for 14 days. Also Increased rent without letting us know or getting permission from my landlord.

Literally have never had a worse experience moving somewhere in my entire life. The day before I’m suppose to move in someplace, ALREADY unable to reach them I get a call telling me I have to find another apt. They find me one 9 miles from where I was suppose to live. I was suppose to get July free. Nope. I went the first 2 weeks with no way to prepare food for my family. I sent and called multiple times one of the ONLY RESPONSES I RECIEVED WAS A REQUEST FOR A REVIEW! literally please please for the love of god find a better company. None of them actually care but find one that takes it a little better.
Absolutely horrible gentrification company that's Probably a drug front For laundering money. They buy up poor people's homes. That can only afford a low-rent. Let the lease run out and then boot them out. So they can slap on a couple Coats of paint. Some crapy new appliances that look Shiny but are terrible. And then charge a $1000 extra. Shame on you. I've included a Before & After photo Of what my place looked like when I lived there and after they kicked me out. What do you think is more Zen? Talking to my old neighbor and he said the owner couldn't stop bragging about how we made four hundred thousand dollars off of this house in four months. Shame on you Putting money before people.
As everyone says, this is the absolute worst company I have EVER dealt with … and I spent 20 years in the military. Trust me, I know incompetence. And Zendoor is THE most incompetent company I’ve ever had the horrible shit-luck to deal with. I canNOT over stress how accurate all those 1-star reviews are. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve got a LOVELY apartment. And why the owners of this apartment complex EVER chose Zendoor is WAY beyond me. Even if you find the most beautiful apartment, do NOT rent it if they use this horrible, horrible company. They are literally THE worst.

I was with a much better management company, but they let our property go and Zendoor took it over. The reviews are true. We have a dog stop. For bags and a bin, to put the poop in. Its helped alot since it was added. Zendoor hasnt emptied the poop bin for 2 months !!! Its literally over flowing. They also charge a 40.00 fee to pay your rent online if you pay with your card. I talked to the lady in the office about it, she's been nasty to me since the takeover. I litterally feel like im talking to the mob bosses wife. Id steer clear. Im moving out the first chance i get. Not renewing my lease, thats for dam sure !!
They are not only the worst management company ever; they just might be the worst overall company ever. Poor communication, that is if you get any communication at all. In no way are they responsive. You are on your own, Buddy. Things they promise to fix for you are not repaired. You are on your own. They can't even get their own portal to work properly and will pull a variety of answers out of their derriere, so you must persist and not take the BS as the final word. Again, you are on your own. I hate to tell you, but please look elsewhere. I implore you. You deserve better!
DO NOT RENT WITH ZENDOOR This is by far the WORST experience I have ever had in my renters history. Over the 9 months I stayed with them, I broke my lease early by the way because it was so horrible, everything that went wrong was either ignored or they took their sweet time getting the issue addressed and fix. I had no running hot water for almost three months. My upstairs outlets did not work for the same three months and even after they fixed them some still didn’t work and maintenance literally just shrugged their shoulders and said they try but need someone who knows more of what they are doing to fix it. I couldn’t wash any of my clothes after a certain point because nothing was getting clean and the laundry area and water started to smell like pee. My downstairs bathroom flooded and they didn’t get anyone in until I sent pictures of the issue that happened multiple times. No one ever responds to the multiple emails and texts I’ve sent. To top it all off I emailed them a move out check list updated and photo of where I left my keys. Didn’t hear back from anyone until nearly two weeks later asking if I had moved out and where I left my keys. Then when I told them and mentioned I had a few questions I didn’t hear back from them and now have sent three follow up emails and two text messages and still no reply!!! I’d run far away from this leasing company.
Worst management company ever. The only time they really communicated was during the leasing process. They do not answer phone calls. When you ask about service calls they don’t reply. There are only a few tenants here so far and all of us have issues with this management company. I will never rent anything if it has to do with this management company again.
