Bring back google scoring. This is shutting out the casual fan to women’s tennis. Disgusted by the wta.

Don’t get me wrong, WTA tennis is great. The players are talented and beautiful and strong. So it’s frustrating that the WTA as an organization keeps failing them again and again. The website is cluttered and uninviting. The television rights here in the USA are all over the place, as though they change their mind every year about having their own channel, joining some other sports network, offering direct streaming, making you get Hulu or ESPN+ or The Tennis Channel. And the Grand Slam events are their own thing technically, so…the points count, but the coverage and fantasy games have to refer to them obliquely and can’t even show matches in some circumstances? And the app changes from year to year and still doesn’t support the iPad or have any added value over a generic score giver app. They should spend a little more money and develop a strong, unified online presence, maybe secure broadcasting rights and host a “WTA+” streaming service, sell merch, and basically showcase the sport the way it deserves. This app is ok for what it does, but it doesn’t do much. You do know that a few billion people have mobile internet access, right? Maybe try actually serving that demographic.
