Boring p2w

Like all these games you start out fast and demolish stuff for awhile but you’ll quickly hit paywalls. After a few days there’s nothing left to do except maybe ten minutes of dailies while you pray for an upgrade so you can beat a handful of levels before you’re stuck again.

Everything comes to a screeching halt. I really like the mini games but unless you have monthly membership you can barely play them like every twelve hours. The memberships also just aren’t worth it. They give measly rewards.

I like the art style and building different teams but there’s just not much to actually DO unless you’re dumping money into it.

Fake reviews

This game is extremely hateful towards f2p players. The game literally locks you in the first chapter unable to progress your characters past level 10 until you either have wasted 28 days logging in or you spend money. It’s not even possible to grind because there’s no actual way outside of paying money to gain the necessary resources to level your characters up past lvl 10 in order to clear the first chapter. This has to be one of the most egregious cash grabs I’ve ever seen done by someone that isn’t activision/blizzard or ea.

Interesting

I found the game very interesting and I enjoy the artwork. The game is lacking in some areas. But just like all app games still add more and more overtime so I am intrigued to see what they’ll add and what stuff not implement to the game. I hope they had a lot of fun mechanics and don’t make it such a steep pay wall but like most app games there’s always mostly some pain mechanics so hopefully they don’t go too out of hand with that. I also understand that employees need to be paid and also they need money to run the server and I’ll still make a profit that is understandable as well like I said I hope it doesn’t get too out of hand with paid for power. But I really enjoy the game and hopefully there’s lotta great things to come from it.

I love this game but

Im having a very hard time going through the chapters. Im using the best characters and equipment I have, but its hard to level my equipment/characters. Getting copies of characters is kinda tough but thats expected. Some struggle is good keeps me coming back, but too much struggle makes it frustrating to play. I love the game the art everything about it (waiting for Grut to be released) because he’s a MUSHROOM. It could just be me struggling but idk. Anyways I love your game and thank you for your guys creativity.

Not bad

The art of Darkest Dungeon is great (love that game) so having a free rpg that’s afk is good in my opinion, the only reason I give it 4 stars though is due to in app purchases (just not a fan of them) it just kinda reminds of pay to win games, luckily I haven’t had that experience but it’s a concern for future updates. Overall I think this game is a good time killer and fun. Great job devs!

Best mobile I’ve found.

This game is based off of another game that’s on console. It’s the cleanest game I’ve found on mobile as far as ads. There are things you can buy but it’ll only ask every few days when you rest and come back. Asking if you want to speak to the merchant. You don’t have to pay to win just be patient.

Very fun

Really love the games aesthetic and the fact that there are no ads. Getting acclimated to the game mechanics was very smooth~ even for someone without a lot of experience in this genre.

Main critique is related to PvP/Competition. 5 arena pvp matches per day is kinda silly. Should be allowed to spend resources to unlock more. Also, where the heck are the leaderboards??? Min/maxing is more fun when you’re racing against others

Just started.

I have darkest dungeon on my pc. I was happy to see a mobile version! I can’t wait to really get into it. May write more later.

Okay, so I hit some obstacles i cannot get past. In the labyrinth, i am dead. Cannot afford resurrection for one much less four. On the trail, i am hitting bosses I can’t defeat every few rounds and get stuck there. I have other characters i cannot afford to upgrade to catch up to the others.

while I enjoy this game on pc, i will probably eventually uninstall because the fun is very short lived when these bottlenecks pop up and … i would rather not break out the credit card when i want to play longer for this version.

Great game!

I’m about a week in so far. lol The game is actually fun. No random adds and I get to enjoy the game. I’ve spent about 100 bucks on it and I hope they continue to improve it. There are some glitches in the story and some of the additional content like, characters fighting off screen and powers not activating but other than that pretty great game.

My first ever review hand in the Bible

(Don’t mind grammar) I have invested large amounts of time & money into this game. I have to say this is a great game with a lot of potential I just think the game need a bit more content overall. It can get repetitive and your daily tasks do seem to get boring after a few weeks. I feel as though certain characters need to change or be reworked like Wukong live the character but he just dies way to quickly in high level content even with upgraded legendary armor and evasion buffs. Overall great game just wish there was more to do.

Good base game, too many sub menus

The base gameplay loop seems fairly solid (for the all of 2 hours I’ve invested so far), but it seems like theres 12 different subscription lists where “you could earn this hero” or “don’t you want all these rewards?”. It makes a good game fee cheap and cash grabby, like the devs are afraid that the player will get bored after a few weeks so “throw all the cash options at them at same time and maybe one or two will stick”. I make a habit of spending at least a little money on games that are enjoyable and free to play to support the devs, but this particular game feels so… unnecessarily needy that I might not in this particular case.

Love it!

This game is fantastic! Well made and no ads, it’s definitely pay to win (you can still play and progress for free), but the developers have made it free to play for a reason. I love the class development, the art style, and the daily awards. The developers know how to keep an audience. You can tell they took inspiration from Darkest Dungeon the PC game and I think that why I’m even more involved as I should. If you’re on the fence I’d say download it and give it try!

Great Game! Also some Suggestions

Awesome game. I am f2p and so far it seems really accessible for those who are. The graphic style is right up my alley. Combat is fun. This game is just great. I also love the D&D feel.

Suggestions:
- Basically, I’m just looking forward to more characters! I can already see some new ones coming, they look great. In regards to characters, since it does seem reasonable to expect more to come, maybe making a “wishlist” like thing when drawing heroes so you have a better chance of getting the ones you want/need?
- Also on the same vine, I love my Kobold Grido and can’t help but think how awesome if he got a Dragonborn tank friend. Just putting that out there…

Thank you so much for the game!
(Of course those are just suggestions that I think would be cool but game is great already)

Great game!

Love it! Doesn’t force you to watch ads or spend money. Feels like if you do all the daily quests you still get the chance to feel like you are progressing. I have spent some on the game, but I find supporting free games that are being updated frequently deserves a few extra bucks! You do get a lot of offers but you don’t have to buy them. Highly recommend this game for anyone looking for a fun strategy game, where you get to collect cool unique characters. Love the art design.

Love this game

This game has all the dark creepy reels that the original had kinda like a dark souls universe without all that peppy stuff. The music and dialogue are just spot on with that grudge feel 🙂. I would just like to see more multiplayer concepts but again I’m not very far in and maybe there is farther in. Well any way thank for reading this and have a good day☺️.

Solid

Game is both simple and complex with lots of champions/skills that interact in interesting ways while also being able to just throw anyone in and still eventually win. Solid rewards make the gaccha portion way less money grabby and more like ok I don’t NEED this to progress but I want to see this thing.

Strong idle rpg with a bright future

Love the Darkest Dungeons-influences art style. I’ve tried other idle games and this one has really kept me for that piece alone. The features also unlock and at nice pace and there’s enough to keep you busy on a daily basis. And you can make good progress without spending a ton, (though please try to spend a little something if you can; game devs need to eat, too!) It is missing social/clan sort of features but those will come with time. Excited to see how this shapes up!

Quality Game

Great artwork very reminiscent of another darkest game. The gameplay is simple enough for play during the workday but fun to take charge and wreak havoc manually and with strategy/thought. I love the varied animations and enemies. Love the kill and victory animations. Haven’t played long but overall a fun experience. Recommend checking it out.

Darkest AFK (For The Devs)

I honestly really enjoy this game, wish I started sooner! This is my type of game that I can always come back later while it’s (idle) and use my resources to upgrade characters. There’s enough content where it’s not overwhelming but also a good Home Screen no over burden of pop ups. I hope the devs keep this game alive and more players join the community, I played a game in the past and then it got discontinued so I hope that’s not the case here… Awesome game and really enjoy playing it after a long day of working!

One of the best idle games on iOS, and you can play it offline as well!

Amazing game! The art is great and there is so much grinding to do, which I love. I always feel like my team is getting stronger in each step of the game. Also, please bring fullscreen support for iOS! I used to play on my Samsung Galaxy S9 which had fullscreen support, so it feels claustrophobic and is odd that it isn't a given feature for iPhones.
