Nothing happens when you open MathMakers
I was charged for this erroneously and cannot seem to get a refund. I have NO children or need for this. Very frustrated. Given this, I wouldn’t recommend it.
Terrible app
MathMakers is not free. You have to sign up for a 7 day trial to play. MathMakers is just okay, it’s a boring game with the same things over and over. MathMakers is more for a 3-5yr old. I canceled my subscription on the first day, and they are still trying to charge my card. I sent several emails to them to no avail. They would just send back generic emails and never address the actual issue I had. I asked them to cancel the subscription on there end. Since it will not let me cancel on my end. A glitch somehow renewed my subscription for a year. Math makers will not help me with canceling the subscription on there end. I just have to let the charge go through and get a refund from apple. Terrible customer service. I would not recommend MathMakers.
My son loves this game… but he can’t find baskets anywhere in Creative Mode. Please add them or instructions on how to get to them! Otherwise, great app!!
There is no such thing as a perfect application to help with anything. And when it comes to learning we as parents are mostly rolling the dice. You want to find the medium like Mario bros. Where you are learning to not give up, but it’s so much fun losing in the process you feel like you’re winning. MathMakers is definitely fun for my eight year old adult. I’m just hoping it translates in the classroom.
It is a great game to play with friends and family and kids and you can play with your kids because they have a lot to learn and choose from and you can change your own avatar in your own way.
I didn't expect the challenges to get harder like that. Very interesting combination of maths and play.
Download this game a year or so ago in the hope that it would spark a love for math in my son. since then he has really enjoyed playing the game beating all the levels, playing creative mode and cannot wait for future updates so that he can learn more. He went from hating math to having an excitement and joy for what he’s going to learn next.
We have MathMakers since our son used it about 9 years ago! this is amazing, and the kids absolutely adore it. I just wish this company made lots more! It would’ve been great for decimals, or anything else! My kids think it’s funny and love to play even my 3 yo loves it!!!!
