The game itself is great. Has a lot of good aspects to it. However since the last major Godzilla game on a console was almost a decade ago, this doesn’t leave you many options outside of this. Matchmaking in the game is absolute garbage. It puts you up against people who are way higher level than you so you get completely destroyed. Or on the other hand it does the same except with people who are way lower level than you to where it’s not even a fair match. More often than not to even get your favorite characters you have to pay just to get them. Not everyone has the funds to just keep dumping money into a game just for a “chance” to get them. I’ve spent countless amounts on the game and still just today I only won 3 matches out of an hour and a half of playing. I have been playing for around 3 months and it keeps putting me in matches with people who have been playing since day one. Obviously I’m going to get squashed. I would recommend spending your money elsewhere. This is nothing more than a cash grab.

I honestly never thought I would give a bad review for a godzilla game. But this one… could be a lot better. There doesn’t seem to be a matching function that really works, it often pits me against opponents I have no hope of defeating. And it shouldn’t put you against the same person more than once in a row. I would sometimes get a good win streak of maybe 5, sometimes 10, then have it ruined by a losing streak of around the same number. It should put you against opponents based off of player rank, season rank (I think that’s what it’s called, could be wrong), and battle pieces. Either it’s extremely lopsided in my favor, or the enemies favor. I do sometimes get fair fights though, but not many. And now the little “chatting” things. I can understand wanting to compliment other people on their performance during battle, but honestly, it’s usually used for toxicity, from what I’ve seen. The only reason I’m keeping this game is because I have a decent number of 4-star battle pieces. (That are completely useless when I find someone else that has a bunch of UPGRADED 4-star battle peices)

This game is extremely fun I enjoy collecting the different monsters and building my team the way i want it in fact that’s the most fun to it battling other players is fun but more often than not just frustrating and annoying if you’re not playing in fair matches which who cares about fair matches because you don’t get any rewards the ranked matches are completely unbalanced one match you can be fighting someone that just started the game even though you’ve been playing for months and then the next match you fight someone who’s been playing for much much longer and spends money left and right to be completely OP with one monster destroying the entire team of yours. The idea of this game is very fun and I still like it quite a bit but being so unbalanced just makes it feel like why am I even playing this why do I even bother if things are going to be so unbalanced, overpowered, or pay to win more then half the time it is very discouraging. Also making a monster or two the monsters of the event or whatever and boosting them to lvl 5 regardless of your actual level for them is also extremely unenjoyable.

This is a very fun game, don’t get me wrong, but it has MANY flaws. For one, the meta right now is broken. When you reach gold league or above because of the “matching” thing you run into people who spam this overpowered meta, causing you to lose over and over and never be able to jump up in rank. Something to fix this is to 1, nerf the current meta, 2 remove the “matchmaking” thing and just have us fight whoever is online (optional) and 3, give trophies to help you get a higher rank even IF you lose. I don’t want to stay in master forever and want to get higher, so if there is a new meta, I would like to at least receive SOME points if I lose. Not as much for winning but still some of the blue trophy things instead of 0. Another flaw is that some Kaiju aren’t really unique. It would be more fun if each Kaiju had a specific ability to help them in combat. 3rd and final issue is how long expeditions take for pretty boring rewards usually, but that’s just a minor nitpick. Other than that the game is fun, I just wish I’d stop running into players who ruin the fun in it.

As a newer player who only started a week or so ago, I’m already feeling pretty frustrated with *Godzilla Battle Line*. I ended up purchasing the season pass, thinking it would be a great way to jump-start my experience and unlock cool rewards. But now that the season is ending, I'm left feeling like I’ve been completely ripped off. I maxed out the pass, but because I’m new, I’m still stuck with nothing to show for all that effort.

The fact that you can’t claim rewards after the season ends, despite completing everything, just feels like a slap in the face. I spent money and time to progress, but the way the system works punishes newer players like me who didn’t have the entire season to finish it up.

An automatic pass system where rewards are granted as players progress through the pass—no time limits attached—would be a simple fix and make a huge difference. This would ensure that everyone, regardless of when they start, can enjoy the rewards they earn without worrying about season cutoff dates. It would definitely make me feel better about my investment. ☺️

The game play is super fun and there is so much thought put into the fine details that fans can appreciate. It has a couple of issues however, and most of those stem from the fact that there are not enough monsters/attacks. Seriously, there are like less than 15 and most of the time you just get the same 6 things from expeditions: missile strike, Rodan, kamacuras, Anguirus, air base, and maser tanks. There is no motivation to play this game and log on daily if there is no collecting aspect. I’ve had the game for a day and a half and I’ve done everything and am bored. The battles are really fun gameplay, but most of the time people have the exact same deck as you. Unless you buy one of the really expensive expeditions (with real money or gems) everyone is the same in a fight. Fights are too similar and all expeditions have the same results. If there was any variety at all this game would be incredibly fun.

Also many times when I do want to play it won’t match me up with anyone and I end up sitting waiting for an opponent for several minutes and then giving up.

Okay so the game is very fun when you first start out you level up quick and if you know what you are doing you will level up quick and you will feel good about yourself I played before on my old phone maybe a year after the game released I started playing again a couple months ago I gotta say the game has taken a turn I got back to what level I was on my old phone and you’ll see this a lot on other reviews but the game is just so unbalanced and if there was just a point in time where there wasn’t an event going on that would be amazing and they could stop giving out 4 free level five four star kaiju to people for no reason it’s really discouraging when this happens and once the event ends your kaiju that we’re level five are back to square one if you managed to get them and this game isn’t necessarily pay to win but if you have money you are gonna win a LOT so just keep that in mind if you decide to play this game go for it you will have fun but don’t get addicted it’s not worth it it’s fun to play when you are bored but not something I’d recommend playing for hours at a time because you won’t make much progress in that time. Also make sure you have variety in you team because packing nothing but four stars will limit your strategy by a lot. I hope this review helps people who are thinking about downloading this

I’m loving the new update but It does come with a couple glitches though, where I skip the introduction of unlocking the expedition maps and the intro music is still playing when I skip it, and another one where I exit the game and come back in and it shows that on of my missions has been like, restarted, and another one where when I press ranked match, I’m on the “looking for players” place, but I can still see the main menu in the background of it, and where I can’t put one poster on one building, and put another one on another building, I can only one poster on one building, and I’m not able to put another one on another building, only one, and another glitch where the buildings health disappears, and when it usually says that you have 30 seconds left, but for me, I’m in English mode, and it said 30, and the Japanese version of the word seconds, and another one where when I use a unit, and another unit comes and says it’s 5 energy, and I’m able to use it, when I only have 3 energy

And P.S, please make a cheat fire wall, I just encountered with a person who put out a Mothra larva, then anguirus, and then Mechagodzilla

I actually really enjoy this game, other than some units in the last season being completely unbalanced, most matches were still fun. Since the new season launched my game was just completely broken, more than half the time I got matched with someone I would be sent back to the main menu instantly because my opponent canceled, if I managed to get into the match my energy glitched and produced no energy and no units would place or move. After about 4 days almost all bugs were fixed and matchmaking problems were fixed quickly. Godzilla (2021)’s atomic breath still glitches if the match ends while he's firing it, the audio track for his breath won’t end and the game needs to be restarted to fix, oh and he is laughably underpowered and currently serves very little purpose in the game. If all the bugs got fixed, the game would easily be a 5 star for me as the game fits a mobile platform very well it doesn’t feel pay to win, as the game matches you with equal rank players, and it’s the most enjoyable mobile game I’ve ever played regardless to balancing issues, and as a massive godzilla fan I’m not disappointed with any choices with monsters other than Godzilla (2021), pls buff.

Godzilla battle line is a very fun and addictive game.
You progress fast and don’t feel the need to get 4 star kaiju from the get go. Yes balanced matches is long gone but my main complaint could be stoped if you have good internet. First of all I’m not complaining about the combat and it is very good in making fun hard and tense games, but when you have found a match but you have bad internet the opponent changes and due to the game loading and the cancel option removed it could soft lock your game making you reload and could be a great annoyance. And in the matches when you lose connection or your opponent lost it too
It could be really annoying in you are about to win the game or you hope your opponents timer runs out and you win. And lets talk about that in the 2 scenario’s one is going to be mad in the fact the one was about to win and your opponent gets rewarded due to bad connection you couldn’t stop. So in the end game is fun but the matchmaking depending on internet could be annoying.

Abdallah oh yeah just saying this is like my favorite game right now so whatever you do you cannot make me stop playing it so like a few other people or maybe just one I’m just gonna say this is one of the actual good Godzilla games not like those trashy games like Titan Rush so I really love the game just please fix those two problems

I love the idea behind this game and as a fan of Godzilla it’s fun. I only have to problems with this game. One being that it takes too long for expeditions to be done. It greatly decreases the time you want to spend on this game. Once you fill out all of your expedition slots you just don’t play the game unless you want to climb up the ranks. The problem with that is what’s the point of your units are under-leveled. So my first recommendation is to reduce the time it takes for expeditions to be done by half and to increase the expedition slots. The second problem I have with this game is the really bad loading times and constant disconnect in matches. I’d be playing a match and my opponent would leave mid game and I’d get a “waiting for connection” screen until I close the game out. It’s frustrating and It also results in a loss for me when I’m the one that didn’t leave. If these two problems are fixed. Them this game would be amazing.

The game itself is fun and yes there are glitches but the developers seem quick to fix those. The trap is in the special addition purchase expeditions they promote. Do not waste your money on these! I have spent entire months saving up gems and previously bought gems specifically to get the premium expedition maps with the “higher chance“ of getting the special four-star character that I really really wanted but you will never ever get them. Only basic characters have ever populated even with these special limited “once only” purchase maps. If it’s a one time offering map that I’m having to pay to get the character for, I want that character! Yes, yes developer, I know you display their odds of getting the premium characters but no matter what their odds if you were always going to get rigged in the bottom of the odds then you will never ever get them and they are not worth your time or money on. It is a frustrating waste and I am completely done with that aspect of it. Sidenote, developers also need to learn a little bit about passive reinforcement. If you want players to keep paying for your premium offerings you need to let them get their desired characters more often than not to keep them coming back and paying for those opportunities. Other than that rant and frustration over time and expenses wasted, the game is fun if you do not put any pay to play expectation into it.

Devs, please. I have been a skeptic about the reviews claiming cheating until I faced a player named Alex who could put out King Ghidora and Rodan (11 points) within the first 5 seconds of the match where I only had the points to answer with 10 points after about 7 seconds. Then when I’m able to take care of that with he is able to do it again there’s just no way he’s able to do keep putting out this much without an energy cell and he goes with the same combo and another 6 point within seconds. To add to this, I defeated his Kiryu and still had health on my leader and then my final bit of life is just ticked away with no reasonable explanation. This dude just had all the energy to keep putting out an absurd offensive and look im not upset I lost that happens often at 5900 rank and to much better players but this seemed so off I have to say something.

This game is a natural and I think anyone could have fun in this especially us Godzilla fans but there are a few small problems. One is that every event there is always kaiju that are extremely strong for that event like the GXK event. But the problem is I’m not even kidding when I tell you the exact time that update was released I was playing for roughly ten minutes then I fought and I fought about 30 other people and lost all 30 times because they all had either Beast glove Kong Evolved Godzilla Skar King Shimo or all four. I was really just annoyed but I just didn’t mind all that much. However number two is that the season right after that which was Gamera Rebirth (Keep that in mind) the kaiju that were part of that update were really good!! However on the current update you can send Gamera AND flying Gamera and they get pretty much two shot by Godzilla the ride version. Now since these were really small problems and the rest of the game is great it doesn’t deserve a four star so I’m just gonna give it a five star but PLEASE FIX THESE MINOR ISSUES!!! Side note: They could just be NPC’s which is what I’m just not realizing 💀

So, I've started playing this game for about a week now, its honestly a really good game! But wouldn’t it be nice if there was less one - sided matches? Because right now, im in the champion rank and most of the time, I stand no chance against my opponent at all. I play a match, and all of a sudden, im up against somebody with 4 stars that are all lvl 4. I lose in less than half of the time limit, i play another match, same thing happens. So i think it would be better if the match would still only pick you a opponent with the same rank, but it would also pick what would pick a fair match for the player. And would pick matches depending on the level of people’s battle pieces, and what level they are, instead of a match with somebody with no 4 stars at all, and low level battle pieces, against somebody with a bunch of 4 stars that are lvl 7.

I really enjoyed ultimate Godzilla pass guaranteed 4* legendary monsters! I just hope they bring back Kong 2021 & others! Maybe they should make a year pass including this feature game is sort of like chess sort of with Godzilla, Kong, Gamera, Ultraman, Masked Rider, EVA-01 & there friends/enemies! This game is fun & addicting got my wife and cousin playing! I should have to referrals anyhow that’s my request bring back ultimate pass just make it for the year! Include chooseable 4* , and all the other stuff like gems, maybe some P Coins and I call them glow sticks! maybe add Kong 2021, MechaGodzilla 2021, & Godzilla 2021 with winning animations! Been playing for almost 50 days straight missing about 8 or 9 not including 3 that are not available at this time sad face so yeah give it a try you will be hooked! Tons of leveling I played it a lot and got to rank 63! King of the monsters!

The game is great and all but there is a issues with it for starters say you got a rare Godzilla from new show on Netflix how are we supposed to level him up if we can’t even pull out the rare monster for him to level up if it’s just a rare event monster that doesn’t show up again how are we supposed to level him up I just think the way of leveling up the monsters just doesn’t seem to work that well since you need multiple copy’s of the same monsters to level them up sure does common monsters it works fine but for rare monsters I just think there should be a better way of leveling them up other then just the same rare cards as that monster because once that’s over you can’t really level him up so maybe try and find a way to resolve that issue because a lot of people will say the same thing over time

I have had this game for about 13 months and have tons of 4⭐️ monsters like Godzilla Earth, Kiryu, Godzilla (2021), Godzilla Terrestris, Mechagodzilla (2021), Godzilla (2001), and Godzilla (1954), ect. Although 4 ⭐️ monsters are hard to get I have an idea for new monsters to get such as Bagan (Godziban), MUTO Prime (Godzilla: Aftershock), Gorosaurus (King Kong Escapes), Zilla (Godzilla Final Wars), Godzilla (GODZILLA (1998), Godzilla Filius (Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters), Dagon (Godzilla: Aftershock), Godzilla (Chibi Godzilla Raids Again), and for the first time ever in this game an all new monster: Sikaizilla which is a winged Godzilla-like creature reminiscent of the removed hollow earth painting from Godzilla vs. Kong that showed a Godzilla-like creature with wings battling Godzillas and Kongs. Other than what I have already said this game is great and my favorite monsters including Godzilla Earth, Godzilla Ultima, Giant Octopus, Mechagodzilla (2021), Destoroyah, Biollante, SpaceGodzilla, and Mecha-King Ghidorah are all in the game so it is a great game!

This one of the only Godzilla games and it’s actually good. It Godzilla chess where you try to checkmate the king. Some good strategy on determining who is your king. The early debate is Godzilla or mechgodzilla for king. I’m firmly in the mechgodzilla court. Tons of decent strategy whether brute force to zerging. I’m pretty good at zerging. Game would get a five out of five in it current build. But overall I would give it a four. Many of Godzilla most classic monsters are still missing like destroya second, burning godzilla, mechgodzilla 74 ect. I like the leveling up and unlocking more monsters, but I would add more monsters you could unlock at anytime. Although they would be rare. Some examples would be burning godzilla, titanosaurus, showa godzilla, 2000 godzilla, final war godzilla orga ect.

Side bar, I would love to see that terrible 90’s American godzilla. Would most enjoy killing the imposter tuna monster
