Fishing App: Deep Dive Reviews

Jonny and crew have gone way beyond any expectations with this fishing app. The list of bodies of water is insane and if you don’t see your body of water, simply ask them to add it and it gets done. Weather, bait options, where to fish, retrieval, and rod/line recommendations…what else do you need? If FishingApp ever gets to the point of showing an example of an exact location from the particular lake chosen based on a Google Earth image FishingApp will be the go to for every angler amateur and pro alike! Even now it is a must have for any bass fisherman!

With the free version you only get 1 time frame. The paid version is too much in my opinion. And frankly the advice is not 100% in tune with my area. I think this may be great in a northern state but for Florida it is just ok.

I feel like FishingApp is well built. I like that it allows you to adjust the conditions. I wish it would allow you to adjust for quantity vs quality. Do you want to catch a lot of fish or big fish. The techniques and baits are different.

If it had more features for free I would use it when fishing a new lake or a new area. I think that could be useful. But again in the free version you only get right now. So it doesn’t allow you to prepare the night before.

I think you are on to something good here but it needs refining. I’m not sure anyone has visited the lakes I fish on to test any of this advice. I think that would go a long way. If you can’t travel the country then maybe seek input from locals. But keep in mind that you probably won’t get the same input from two different anglers as we all have our own favorites.

Been waiting for this, I missed the Beta drop and it was driving me crazy. I was so happy to finally down load the prod version!

I bought a new to me boat recently and despite the frigid weather on NC this Jan I have been out boating almost daily. Once I downloaded FishingApp , I found out my local lake was not loaded. Within 24hrs my lake was live, I was shocked on the turn around!

I was able to use the deep dive app to identify the type of area and what to look for. Then, use the C-Map app to find those areas with the most structure and cover multipliers to fish. It worked my first trip with FishingApp !

Great job! I would however leave feedback that my lake Kentucky lake g had as been hit in recent years by Asian carp somehow changing the fishery! Off shore fishing changing for us! I would like to see some current input from trusted local guides as to how the fish are setting up currents with yearly changes to lakes! Grass, lack of grass, Asian carp invasion etc! But works just the same well just an input from a happy customer

The data and algorithm that Johnny has put together is outstanding. Deep Dive is exactly what I have needed for a long time. Weather conditions figures in for you!!! You just set water temp, water clarity that is OR you want to fish them shallow or deep and vegetation or not. Deep Dive then gives you proven bait selection and areas to most likely hold bass. Honestly couldn’t ask for more.

Excited to add this to my arsenal to make me a better fisherman. I know the person who developed FishingApp is obsessed with making everyone a better fisherman over making money. Usually a good recipe for success. Would like to see the price drop down especially since it’s subscription based. Maybe 4.99.

FishingApp gives a solid guide to the types of baits, areas, and patterns to begin. Refinements can be made from there as you fish through your day. Very useful to check on alternates that you may not be thinking of when fishing a body of water you know well and have biases on areas and patterns.

When I installed FishingApp they didn’t have the small lakes near me I requested them and to be honest I didn’t expect them to add them because they are small, but they did the next day!! They aren’t joking when they say they are working hard on FishingApp can’t wait to use it this Saturday

FishingApp helps give an angler an early clue as to what they should begin their day throwing and where to start. This is especially helpful when you don’t have the opportunity to get out on the water for practice and are facing a new body of water.

Just downloaded FishingApp this morning. FishingApp has 90% of the lakes we fish our tournaments on ! Can’t wait to try it out because I’m new to these lakes since I’ve gotten back into Bass tournaments since I moved to Tennessee. Now hopefully I can beat some of these ole timers in my groups ! Lol.

Little skeptical at first but I downloaded the DeepDive app and had one great day on my home lake using everything recommended on FishingApp. I can’t wait to use it during my tournaments because I can’t afford the high end electronics for my boat.

This is the most helpful and well thought out fishing app available to us anglers. It has my local, little known lakes already available to me with suuuuper juicy tips that not only make sense but also produce results.

FishingApp really helped me on Lake Lanier, Ga this March. I drove 14 hours to catch those big Spots and a big cold front came through but I still caught them using one of the shallow patterns and also one of the deep patterns. Thanks Johnny

I like FishingApp . I just wish I had a couple more life option on the free version. I would love to pay for the pro version but it’s just to much for me to afford right now. Maybe if it were cheaper I would buy.

Would be helpful if user could print the recommendations. I fish from a kayak. Limited number of rods requires many bait changes throughout the fishing day.

Fish the Moment is amazing this will be like all their other content, teaching bass fishing on another level!

Where near where I fish..nor is the most used lake here isn’t even listed.. Lake Saint Clair.. I really can’t sit here and request all the lakes I fish on to see if FishingApp will be beneficial for me or not.. Deleted app sorry guys..

I was impressed to see a few Arizona lakes included. After playing around with FishingApp , I am ready to take it to the lake!

I have used a couple of other fishing apps before, FishingApp is the most sophisticated and well thought out fishing app there is.

Jonny is so passionate about helping the bass fishing community. I’m pumped that my Northern California lake is on FishingApp . I’m going to use it next time I am out fishing!

Very easy to navigate. I actually flyfish, but will use FishingApp to help select a fly that closely matches the suggested baits.

Nothing else like this available. Will help eliminate dead water and make me a better fisherman.
