  Rushed and Early

  This platform has the bones to be something great but honestly it looks and feels like a rushed product. Nothing is polished and the UI is very clunky. They are trying to push in a new feature to reward positivity but it makes no sense. It is a classic example of trying to do too much at once so nothing is done in a solid way. The first example of what you are getting yourself into can be seen just by opening the app. The splash screen is a picture of spinning dots rather then an actual animation of spinning loading dots. The fact they couldn’t even make a nice splash screen shows how rushed the project is. Now I don’t blame them since they rushed to have a parlor alternative but unless your a dedicated user willing to post things to a small user base and spend most of your time trying to figure out what this or that button does, I’d say it’s time to wait until the developers update this thing to something more usable. In its current form this app is destined to fail so I hope the developers look at their competitors and make the changes necessary.

  Great new social media app!

  I am so happy that this app finally went live! It combines the features from multiple other apps like Facebook and Twitter. I like the chat feature and it’s encrypted! I also really like that they encourage good behavior (i.e. random act of kindness, donating to charity, helping a neighbor, getting involved in our local communities, etc.). With other social media platforms celebrating everything toxic, this is so refreshing!

  AMAZING START 👍 We need to remember this is a beta build and they are brand new. With that context this platform is far ahead of were FB or IG started and miles ahead of Parler. So let’s give it time and cheer it along. SOCIAL MEDIA WITH A PURPOSE I love how this platform addresses the social dilemma issue. It inspires you to share your positive actions with the community in addition to what you normally expect from a social media platform. NEWS FEEDS It pulls in the top news of the day from multiple sources so a person is not forced into a certain narrative or view point. THE ROOMS FEATURE This is like FB groups but with recognition built in and a step ahead.

  Great so far

  Just downloaded it today & learning how to use it, but so far so good. I have not used FB, Twitter & IG in many years due to the issues I could foresee happening. I am hoping that FreeSpace is going to be a true FreeSpeech space but also a virtual place to communicate freely with like minded people.

  A social network I can find joy in

  Hopefully the scene doesn’t change over either way too much. It’s a centralized version of Parler and Facebook. A breath of fresh air for me personally. Looking forward to see where it goes from here. 🤘🏼

  Important platform

  FreeSpace is probably one of the most important apps to be launched. Positivity, freedom, connection. It really is a tremendous platform that you can be proud to be part of.

  Locked out

  I signed up. Sent many links out. Logged out and now the app keeps crashing or when I tap to log in it takes me back to put my phone number in like I’m starting all over. Please help.

  Love hate

  Loved using it for one day. Hate the fact that now it won’t open it up and I can’t get rid of it and it’s useless at this point. Kind of disappointing…

  No Ukraine?

  After seeing Jaco talk about this on The News and Why it Matters, I was excited to get away from Facebook and start using this. I waited three weeks for it to become available only to find out he hates Ukraine. The country code isn’t available when signing up. Not cool.
