I contacted this company because from the settings because I paid for the No Ads offer that also included several daily rewards, but in order to get those rewards you still have to watch tons of ads whether you want to or not, sometimes two of them in a row. Not only do you still have ads, but MakeoverMaster glitches SO MUCH that the videos randomly freeze a split second before they’re over, the Home Screen locks to black & when you return to MakeoverMaster you haven’t received your rewards & there’s no option to rewatch the video. I contacted customer support to ask for a refund less then 24 hours later because of this issue & haven’t heard anything. This game is really fun & different, but read the review first & heed our advice, DON’T PAY FOR THE GAME because the glitches are so bad that it’s a waste of money! I hope to see improvements made & if so I would subscribe to another month, but as of today with what I’ve been experiencing the last couple days since purchasing it, I most certainly will never repurchase this, especially with customer service telling everyone to restart the game. Clearly our phones aren’t the issue when we’re all experiencing the exact same problem, it’s MakeoverMaster ! Again, the game is fun, but there are way too many glitches for this to cost any money for what you get!

Beyond a certain point, the puzzles become almost impossible to complete without spending gems to clear out the bar. That on its own is super irritating but it gets worse. The ads are super invasive. Not only do you have to cancel a single ad three separate times, if you don’t press the “x” absolutely perfect, it will hijack you and take you to MakeoverMaster Store. Then, once you finally clear out all of that garbage, the game itself spams you with “buy these gems” and that cake lady and again, you have to press the cancel button precisely or nothing happens.

I have no problem with ads and I understand that they are a source of funding. The issue I have is when the ads themselves have an unskippable timer, followed by a emblem screen, followed by hijacking your phone because you didn’t press the “x” perfectly, followed by bringing up a mini download window when you did press the x right, followed by having to cancel out that window, followed by-.... it sounds tedious, right? Because it is. Vet your ads better.

The amount of ads is absurd. Literally an ad after every level. Want your daily login bonus? Watch an ad? Want to collect anything? Watch an ad. What if you choose not to? Have an ad anyway. Shame. Ruins what could be a decent game. Response to developer: While I understand the reasoning for ads, there’s nothing balanced about the amount of ads forced upon players. I just tested it out. I opened the game, got a pop up before I even played a level. I played one level, then it asked me if I wanted to see an ad for a bonus prize. I said no. It then showed me an ad anyway. It then asked me if I wanted to watch an ad for a daily bonus. I said no. I played another level. It asked me if I wanted to watch another ad for a bonus prize. I said no once again. It showed me another and anyway. It’s not at all balanced. It’s overwhelming and makes this game unplayable. Deleting.

The game in itself is calming and fun to play.
Recently I’ve noticed the ads that play glitch out and you have to complete exit MakeoverMaster and close it. After you have just completed the level you lose all the coins and have to reduce the level. Last night i was on level 300, i had to close MakeoverMaster 12 time!!! 12 because everyone i would beat the level the same ad would pop up and crash the whole thing… after almost an hour of doing it it finally played a different ad and i was able to move one. I advanced about 10 levels and decided to go to bed wake up and wanted to play again guess what… I’m back at level 300 and all the work o had done and coins i saved were gone. I’m getting to the point of deleting the game all together.

The game it self is very fun to play but the prices for the items are way to high you will do a challenge earn coins and then waist them on one item and have to do another challenge to get just one more item. The ads are absolutely inappropriate for a twelve year old boy or girl. This game should be at least 17 plus. To make one house it is twenty items and you have to keep on doing challenges to get them. If the cut out all of the challenges and all of the inappropriate ads this game would be ok. So I don’t recommend buying it because I have gotten other decorating apps that are better than this. So unless of you want your kids twelve and up seeing those ads don’t buy the game. It was a complete waste.

I am writing in hopes this gets to the developers. I paid to remove Ads however this has now eliminated my ability to obtain daily bonus and I can not open packages during games. If I am paying to remove Ads the bonus should still work without having to watch an Ad. Or like other games it should only remove the Ads which disrupt the game and should leave the Ads for daily bonus and packages, since those are not required to click on unless you wish to watch the Ad to obtain them. Currently both the daily challenge and the packages which fall during the game say loading but never do. This needs to be addressed. Once this is fixed I will update my review as I enjoy the game however had I known this would occur, I would not have paid money to remove the Ads.

I have only been playing for about a week. The reason I’m giving this a 3 out of 5 is because when I first started playing I was getting a lot of gifts after finishing a game, and even during the game a balloon would drop down with a gift on it so you could get more light bulbs which are your boosters to help you if you get stuck during a level, but when the new update came out you don’t get them very often (few and far between). I started with 46 bulbs before the update and didn’t have to use not a single one, but now I’m down to 7 since the new update because I’ve had to use so many. If you have friends that play this game that is great because they can send stuff to you but if you don’t you just have to rely on the game and hope you get rewards during the game. But all in all it’s a great game something much different than all the match three games out there, even though this is a match 3 but just different keeps you coming back. So Thank you to the developers for giving me something a little different. If the developers would change this so you could get more boosters some how other than having to purchase them then I will change my rating. Also I think there should be more design choices to choose from, and better daily rewards too.

The game is a knock off but worse the furnishings are so outdated. The graphics seem great on the decor until it all looks like late 80’s early 90’s Pretty Woman Hotel Decor. Not to mention they push ads on you every moment. Even if you pay the $1.99 to upgrade to master to remove the ads that only last 7 DAYS and you have to pay again. But once you “remove the ads” if you complete a level and get a bonus, you can only have the bonus if you watch an ad. They will offer you more bonus’ that you earned, but only if you watch an ad. What was the point of me paying to remove ads only to be asked to watch ads after every round? Literally you win a round, get asked to watch an ad for your bonus, decline, then a smiling girl pops up offering you goodies if you watch an ad, when you decline her smile changes to a frown and she says “gee i really thought you would like these things I got you,” while trying AGAIN to make you watch an ad. Then you start to play a new round and get offered stuff for an ad. It’s ridiculous. It’s not your typical tile game like candy crush or property bro’s its more like MahJang which makes each round take longer. The seriously outdated furnishings is absurd though. Also they made me choose a couch and place it on a dirty floor without choosing wall colors or anything. It builds in a ceiling when you pick walls and I was horrified when it added some white trim with gold in it. The whole thing is terrible.

Hi! My name is Kate. Today I’m writing a review of this game called Makeover Master. Today I’m going to be telling my likes and dislikes of this game. Over all I think this is a pretty good game for all ages and all people. If you are a person(like me), who likes to decorate and Redecorate homes, this is a great game fo you! All though it does have a bunch of ads, and don’t get me wrong, a bunch of other games have lots of ads too. Their are a bunch of redecor games to don’t and play and I did try some. Another thing I don’t like is that you only have 5 moves each level you play, so if I’m on level 20 and I failed that level and I have to retry, I just wasted a move and if you keep failing that level then you don’t have any moves left and then you have to wait like 25 minutes (maybe even more) to have your moves refill back to 5 again. But in the end it is a great game I will recommend playing it, although it isn’t my kind of redecor game that I would play, but it is still a good game!

Kinda disappointed. Idc about make up rooms an outdoor pools I really wanted to do a kids bedroom but no choices for that. Also even for the adult stuff it’s all really one typ of style. Not a variety of aesthetics which is disappointing. Now if still play the game with this all being said but then the side game you play to get coins was ok at first but now I had to play the same level an kept losing over an over again so at this point I’m playing an entire different game that I don’t even enjoy trying to get free coins. An it’s not worth buying because it’s boring styles. I would spend money for different choice (like boho,goth,pastel, cottage, beach house, etc) just more options but they chose for you an out of each set you get three choices per a piece of furniture an that’s if you even get to play with getting stuck on the side game for coins . So it’s fun at first but then because more tedious then enjoys

Positives - Interesting game, like the various item options. Good storylines to keep you engaged. Nice to a maj jong style matching instead of the timed games or drop style. This lets you work at your own pace. But and this is a huge but, OMG the ads! So many ads!!! You play for a few minutes and then there’s ad after ad after ad. Ads when you start a level, ads to claim your daily gift, etc. I get that ads are necessary but these just go on and on, and interrupt the game flow. It’s really annoying when you already watch a 20-30 ad, then there’s a part 2 that’s another 15 seconds. And there’s no way to fast forward through them like in several other games. Also, what’s the deal with the gems? You collect them but I don’t see anywhere to use them. After this level, I’m deleting the game because it’s just to irritating to sit through all the ads.

So this my first review and I’m only ten years old, so I don’t have experience. Makeover master is a pretty fun game and I’m on bens villa and the levels are pretty easy so far and most puzzle games have like move limits like if you run out moves you lose, but this one is different. Ok but not every game is perfect, this game only has one teensy weensy problem, well, I mean that I’m one of those people that HATE ads, and sometimes I see the SAME ads in a row and it’s super annoying😡.

And also some suggestions, make the levels bit harder and when you win a level, you win gems, like 15 or 10

Like promised I’m changing my review to 5 stars. Please create more rooms to remodel, the last ones didn’t take me long enough to get through. I do love this game because the puzzles are challenging without being overly expensive. I love this game, it’s challenging without being impossible! However, I’ve finished all the rooms so I’m just racking up points ($$) now. Please add some more places to redecorate… PLEASE! (I will change my rating to a 5-Star once new places/rooms are added.
So NOW I’ve earned more than $200,000 and am still waiting for the game designers to give us more rooms/properties to remodel…again. Please please take care of your game and the folks spending their hard earned money to play!

This goes out to the developers… a great big Thank You!!…I have made reviews on these kind of game apps & I have never given a 5 star review. The tile game is awesome, finally one that players can actually play & not have to use boosters, or spend money on continued play. I find myself actually want to play & keep MakeoverMaster!… the ads that are on here are only an “ option “ … The designs to choose from to decorate are quite beautiful.
I don’t know if these developers are tapped into reviews on other game apps- but these developers were listening in every way. I hope my review will keep present players to reconsider their review & future players to please consider. Mahalo

I just started this game, and I NEVER do reviews, but this game absolutely deserves it. It’s a unique take on the puzzle games everyone seems to create these days. On top of that, they don’t overload you with ads and make you pay for everything to move ahead. There are ads available (completely your choice to watch or not) to get extra lives and whatnot. An even greater thing, despite this game not being filled with ads, forcing you to pay, etc, the graphics in this game are better than all of them combined anyways. Highly suggest downloading and at very least giving it a try! Thank you creators

Ok so I downloaded this game because I like to design interiors like pain walls and everything. So I decided to try out this game, I never really liked the matching games where you had to slide some color to match it because in all honesty, I just wanted to decorate. Once I got MakeoverMaster I was headed straight into the mini game and I thought, “ oooh, this is different.” So I have it a go and it’s actually quite fun and not like too hard or anything. The only thing I would change is the ads, there’s not too many ads but I don’t like having an ad pop up whenever I’m done with finishing a mini game. But, other than that it’s amazing!

I’ve been looking for a design game that is simple to use and actually has good design embedded. After trying several games, I found this one to be perfect.
Also ideal- there are many ways to amass credits that don’t involve tons of credit purchases.
My only criticism is that the writing is crazy bad! Clearly, the copy was written by a non-native English speaker. The grammar and sentence structure are horrendous, and even the way they caption things is odd. I’d be more than happy to clean up the copy for a fee!
Lastly, the Cake Time feature is super-weird & has no bearing on design at all, but I’ll take the extra time and gems anyway, LOL.

People are complaining about the ads but I’m not complaining about the gifts you get in return. There’s other games that have so many more ads. Would you rather this game make money by charging you for the game? I love the game exactly how it is. I don’t mind the ads whatsoever because that’s how they make their money. If you don’t like ads, pay for the no ads on games and stop complaining about them. This game is actually enjoyable. I got my boyfriend into it and he tries to beat the levels that I struggle with. My daughter loves watching me play it too.

I really like this game. I’m mostly interested in a stress reliever type puzzle game, the makeover part isn’t my main interest, but I enjoy it as a diversion between puzzles. I like that it’s a real puzzle game (with bail out options if you get hopelessly stuck), not some manipulative booster fest where it’s nearly impossible to progress without purchased gimmicks. There’s no timer to beat, you can play at your own pace, and it’s just addictive fun. I like the structure with the ads, it gives you the option to keep playing if you’re willing to watch ads, and other perks which is fine with me. I haven’t been playing too long, hopefully the levels don’t get too difficult to be fun anymore, so far it’s just right.

I love match 3 games or games like this for in between tasks (I’m a SAHM w/ 4 kids). The whole process of watching ads to not have to pay even $1.00 for something is a HUGE bonus. I believe I paid a monthly fee that renews at your discretion, which is another HUGE bonus. I forget sometimes about subscriptions, and this method made this my “go to” boredom buster when my kids are also having their down time. Thank you for not pushing ads and making us hit play. That is greatly appreciated for me! ❤️
