Escape Game Tree House Reviews

One of the least intuitive, hugely unsatisfying, and annoying escape games I have encountered…and I play them a lot. If you play this game for more than 22 minutes, your face will freeze in a permanent grimace from which you will never recover. People will say “What do you suppose happened to that poor person’s face?!” And I will stroll by and answer “Treehouse escape”. Then you will wander away with a face that looks like a combination of annoyance and constipation…forever.

Once you get to the second room you have to go back to the first room to get the tablet charged. Once you’re back in the first room, there’s no way to access the second room again because your key was used to access it the first time. The second room door locks as soon as you leave the second room to go back to the first.

I really want to like this game but have to agree with other posters that many, not all, but enough of the puzzles don’t have logical solutions. I found myself irritated after watching hints or answers instead of having an aha “how could I miss that” moment. I started to feel that they gave them ridiculous solutions to force you to watch the ads. Glad some people are enjoying the game but it is not for me.

I’m new to “escape games” and uncertain about the meaning and breadth of that term. I had played some games like “The Room” series and very much enjoyed it. There was a plot, terrific graphics, and a story line that was entertaining. EscapeGameTreeHouse is just puzzles, some fairly obscure and a little interesting but mostly boring. No story, minimal video clips, and no graphics that impressed; for me, just plain dull. Don’t buy this unless ALL you want are puzzles.

I gave this game a significant amount of my time. But, it really didn’t make sense. There was no logical solution to solving the puzzles. The only ones I was able to do were just random guesses. I ultimately ended up deleting it without completing. I actually enjoy escape games that are a little bit harder, maybe this particular one was just too hard for me.

I give this 3 stars for beautiful graphics. Doesn’t make sense to me and I do a lot of logic games and escape games. It doesn’t seem to have logical fluidity from one step to next. Also, when I use hint and answer, the solution is to combine this and that, such as a board of dashes with a sign, and I don’t even have this board of dashes and don’t understand the answer when they show it. So I enter the answer just to move on. Once again, I am supposed to have a clue (according to hints) that I don’t. So, not for me, will delete. For those that enjoy...have fun.

Some of puzzles are too obscure. Especially the light switch panel inside the house. I do a fair amount of these games, and deleted this one as it just didn’t flow. I don’t mind hard games, but they should make a little more sense. Almost there, but not quite.

Good content, and I was enjoying how long the game was, but twice my saved game got erased. The first time, I was on stage two and quickly re-completed stage one. The second time, I was on stage three, and it wasn’t worth it to try to retrace all my steps again. Deleted.

I am always stuck on a level and now stuck forever and I can’t even find the board for one of the levels. I need to saw the board but I don’t have the board! Now I am stuck in the game.😭😭😭

I thought I was an expert at these type of games until EscapeGameTreeHouse. I was pleasantly surprised. I needed to use hints often. These require a lot of thought, memory, and logic. It is nothing like the Room series except that it contains puzzles to solve.

All the games by this developer are pretty good. They have good puzzles that make you think. They don’t have any “lost in translation” issues. The graphics are really good and the vignettes depicted are interesting. Some are shorter than others, but Treehouse has several parts so it takes longer and is more challenging. I liked how it flowed. It really kept me engaged.

It can frustrate because some of puzzles aren’t easy

Please make another game!!!! I’ve played them all and they are the only good escape room games

It had me second guessing every answer I came up with. Very impressed with the visuals and gameplay.

Not an easy game… it took me 5 days to clear the 1st level without the aid of hints…

This is a well done puzzler, with quality graphics and challenging puzzles. I will be downloading the other games. Nice work!

I have been playing these puzzle games to keep my mind engaged. I found this game challenging without being impossible

I’ve played a bunch of escape games from this developer and this is among the best. I needed hints to get through a few of the trickier puzzles, but I thought the solutions were clever. The graphics remind me of the original Myst.

Gorgeous scenery. Puzzles are challenging and require a little extra thought than normal...such as paying extra attention to details, taking notes, etc...but all solutions are logical. And i really appreciate the peaceful nature sound in the background :)

This has to be one of my favorite escape games. There has been a lot of thought into the puzzles of the game where I have to get hints. Very well put together.

Delighted to have stage 3 appear this past week! This game is a wild ride with extensive puzzles on each stage: just when it seems to be nearing the end, there’s more to explore. Photo-realistic settings mean some puzzles and clues are very well hidden.

Hint system is A+: on each puzzle, you get one free hint so you know you’re on the right track, one ad-supported hint, and then an add-supported walkthrough of the puzzle.
