After calling the restaurant and being told by a worker that the only way to get on a wait list is either via the app or by physically coming to the store, we opted to try the app. They mentioned they have lots of international customers and it works all the time. Once signed up, you have to add your phone number in order to join the wait list, but they will not allow numbers outside the US (including Canadian numbers). This basically renders the app completely useless otherwise and we had to drive way out of our way to go to the restaurant to get on a wait list that was over 2 hours long.
If the app is the only way you want to interact with your customers, try actually employing people who know how it works and fix the experience as it’s completely garbage.

I recently placed an order for delivery using the app. Once I submitted my payment info, there was no email confirmation and no text confirmation that my order was received. I had to call the restaurant to check it was received, and there’s no way to make contact with the delivery person since they’re from Doordash apparently. I realize I ordered late in the night, but still this app is mediocre. Ordering through the app simply takes you to their website instead of handling it all within the app. I will be deleting the app after my delivery is received. Please do not waste storage space and data on this app.

Drove an hour from the house to eat at this restaurant. Got on the waiting list 20 mins before getting there it said approximately 24mins wait time. Got a text 7 mins later saying that my name was being called and by the time I got there I was deleted off of the waiting list and the new wait time was over an hour! This is the second time this has happened to me and I will not go back!
