Why is this even on GAppLauncher store I just dont understand it. Its poorly rated, barely adds value and for some reason is on the top ten list.
I put my desired apps in the space and when I close out of safari and open it up again those apps have been reset and I have to re do that process over and over again making it EXTREMELY inconvenient.
It tells me to go to settings and create an ext. for Safari. That is not possible. The option does not exist. GAppLauncher is a dead zone.
It doesn't work, nothing shows up in Safari extensions preferences even after restarting the computer mutiple times, quitting and reopening Safari and GAppLauncher , NOTHING WORKS!!
I canʻt get it to open with safari, I canʻt switch it to chrome. Iʻm not sure what the intended purpose of GAppLauncher is, but I just wanted to open google calendar from my Mac homescreen.
Every time I quit Safari it resets to defaults, wasting the time I spent setting the icons I wanted and making it pretty pointless unless you want the default setup. If that arrangement works for you, then it does work!
I had no idea after reading GAppLauncher description that this is really NOT a stand-alone app, but just an extension that's only limited to Safari (which I don't use). Thanks for wasting 10 minutes out of my day.
Why on earth would a simple app that just offers links to Google sites, need your password and browsing history. Literally bonkers that no one including Apple is asking that.
It never loaded correctly. I don’t think it’s comparable with apple. And it continues to show up on my Home Screen blurred, but there. I delete it and it comes right back. App is persistent, but worthless. Zero stars
Used to really love this extension. Now, it seems to "reset" on a regular basis, almost every time Safari is closed. Doesn't seem to be a way to correct. I contacted the developers, but got no response. Will remove until updated....hopefully soon because I really do love the extension!
Great needed concept, but horribly buggy. It asks for permission to access EVERY WEBSITE you launch it from. I have it set to deny access, but it still asks every time. And it even asks with sites - like Calendar and Gmail where I HAVE greanted permission. Please ust give us what you advertise - a simple wway to configure and access Google apps!!
The launcher frequently and inexplicably resets forcing you to reorder/place your preferred shortcuts. Second, the launcher disappears from my Safari toolbar and from the extensions preferences, forcing a complete reinstall.
The extension is a waste of your time — you're better off adding bookmark shortcuts directly to your favorites bar.
Why on Earth would this extension need permission to view my browsing activity on every website? Thanks, but no thanks.
Edit: "The permission is actually optional so you are free not to grant it." Okay, except then GAppLauncher launcher is greyed-out and nonfunctional on anything except a blank tab--at which point why wouldn't I just use the start page?
This extension demands a level of permission I'm not comfortable giving a developer.
This keeps updating which I appriciate but each time it does, the shortcuts are reset to default. I have changed it back to the original settings like 6 times now. Please please fix this
I've been using this for about a year now and its been great and worked as expected but in the last month its just completly stopped working. When I click on the icon to activate it theres just a small blank pop up. I've quit and reopened, restarted my mac and deleted and reinstalled but cant sem to fix the issue.
…that clicking on the home-screen app was another way of accessing ones shortcuts without having to go through Safari directly.
I cannot figure out what problems others are having, this plugin works perfectly well on Safari and Chrome. Makes access to all the Google services I use easy and all in one place.

Sorry all you reviewrs use Google which scraps and steals your data like Facebook. The data GAppLauncher gets is for Google so you can use the apps provided by google.
