I saw Jimo on Tiktok and thought it was an incredible idea so I decided to download it immediately! Unfortunately I have not been able to use it because it won’t let me sign up! To sign up, you have to input your phone number and you will get a verification code. I kept trying to add my phone number in and I never got a verification code. Then after waiting a couple of minutes, inputting the number again Jimo said that my number was an “invalid phone number”. Sadly, I can not access Jimo although I think it is an incredible idea and would love to enjoy it :/ Please fix this issue so I can use it with my friends!! :)
After downloading Jimo I started getting onslaught with spam text messages like “your package can’t be delivered, click here” “your PayPal account has be charged 9.99; click here within 24 hours to dispute,” both linking to nefarious scam sites as a phishing attempt.
No app is worth this level of spam.
Bottom-line: they don’t protect their users.
Been waiting for an app like this. Have had it from the start and as it grows it gets better and better. So many possibilities with what you can do with this. But love the concept of sharing my recs with friends in a consolidated space
this app is really great. Now I can finally see all my friends favorite spots. I just used this visiting NYC this week and it was a huge game changer!!! So happy I found this app

This hits the jackpot of what i’m looking for in social media. Authentic, genuine, funny, fun, creating connections and giving true value. Found so many cool spots through here. LOVE IT!!
Jimo works. I get to see reviews from people I know and trust in my network. Makes it so much easier than constantly texting around for new spots to visit!

I love the categories but maybe make it so you can add your own? I’d love to add one for “outdoors” and “study spots” bc I feel like they should get their own categories
Super fun idea & way to save favorite locations. I’d love the ability to edit posts after I’ve made them to add notes or photos, in case I re-visit and have something to add.
Jimo is great! Functions really well and solves a problem I’ve had for a while. I’ve been making lists in my Notes and Maps apps to remember places I’ve been that I loved and places that have been recommended to me. A v clunky method but no more! I luv this app
