Homerun Clash 2 Reviews

So I downloaded this game and the very first time I opened it to play, it started to load but quickly stopped and prompted me to update to the newest version. So I clicked the update button and it brings me here to HomerunClash2 Store and literally nowhere is there an option or a way to update. I’ve literally searched everywhere and even tried to go to my updates on HomerunClash2 Store like the game instructed and still there’s absolutely no way to update the game. PLEASE HELP!!!! I would very much like to play the game. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Will raise my rating if the problem gets fixed.

The batting system is broken compared to the first game ! At least in the first version it was possible to hit the ball in every direction …. Not to mention if the other player hits the ball first they will win 99% of the time , When I PVP someone they will usually get the ball first and that makes it so much easier to win and the ACTUAL TIME CLOCK Doesn’t even keep up , I’ll be waiting for my turn and the player I’m going against has already hit 2 balls but the time I Hit 1 ball, this game need some work clearly it’s not even fun

I wanted to like the game because I love playing baseball arcade games. The graphics looked good so I gave it a try. It takes a minute to figure out the do’s and don’ts of the controls but those pickup pretty quick. My biggest problem is that it gets boring very quickly. The tutorial just shows the basics and if there’s a way to control more than just swinging the bat, it’s not obvious at all. Even with the Babe Ruth type pointing and calling your home run, you have no control over it beyond just swinging your bat. You don’t even get to control when to use it or the pinging of where you’re gonna hit it. If you’re trying to hurry and get more points before the timer runs down, out of nowhere your player calls the home run location. If the other player is continuing with normal at bats then they get in two swings before your animation is done pointing and winding up. You either end up too far behind to make the extra points worth it or the timer runs out in the middle of your animation and the slight edge you had is gone. I think they spent more time on the animation and images than they did on the actual gameplay. Minecraft has crappy 1980’s style pixel graphics and is still the top downloaded game in the world. I’d be willing to sacrifice graphics for a funner experience.

This game is fun all the way up until you get to about 1,600 trophies. Once you reach this amount of trophies the game becomes almost unplayable due to the amount of cheating, I mean this game is less than 2 years old and there are some people with over 25,000 trophies which is impossible due the the amount of trophies you win per game. If you’re looking for a fun baseball game this is good until you get to these high ranks.

Played the original one for a few years, spent a little money on it. Was super excited to download this but more than disappointed to see that it was obvious you have to immediately dump money to make any decent progress at all. Another one lost to the big machine. As a company don’t forget who got you here, baseball nerds like me.

I hit a ball right before the time runs out. The game was real close and I got a called home-run which would have won me the game. The last game had it if the pitch made it out then the score would count making clutch hits a factor. But now even if the pitch goes before time runs out, you can’t even hit the ball anymore. This is an annoyance cause I believe that if the pitch is thrown before the time runs out then that hit should count for the final score.

I’ve noticed when you get to big bear park there is a weird pause and the scoring seems inconsistent. I hit the same shot as my opponent and instead of the scores staying even it gets weighed differently on who the game wants to win. I dont know just seems off compared to the first one

Feels like the beta version with all the frequent UI changes. I appreciate the improvements but this is a bit excessive. Also, the home run pass runs out too fast. Why not just make it last the whole month? I’d personally have no problem purchasing it each month and it should include a pass that can skip the ads. It’s a fun game to pass time but I find most people quit within a month or two because it’s repetitive and gets a little boring getting stuck on the same stadium for so long. Can I suggest a random stadium mode? Maybe even a random batter and random stadium mode could be fun. Just a thought to mix things up.

One thing I don't like is that when the timer runs out an you hit it before it goes out it should still count instead of leaving it the same I don't like that but the game is awesome

I love the game and the competitiveness, but only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it becomes really frustrating when your trying to level up in the 1 on 1 match ups and you get matched up with someone that is 11 times higher than you. I was at 1k and my opponent was 11k. Like after they hit 3 home runs and your defeated. So, I would suggest better match making. Also on the Arcade mode, sometimes the ball tracker marker gets “hidden” on amongst the background and it’s really hard to see. These are just a couple of things that I’d like to see fixed. Other than that, I really enjoy the game.

Great game just like the first. The only thing that irks my nerve is the last few second of each match. The last game recorded your last swing even if the timer ran out. I don’t care that it doesn’t on this one but when it takes 2 seconds to get through a “CRITICAL” hit animation, it takes away from my score. I’ve lost multiple games because of this. Still a good game though

In the last 10 seconds at bat, if a ball is still in the air when the countdown finishes that should count as an in air play. Players shouldn’t be penalized for that, you should just make it a final swing option to make it fair to both players

It’s gotten so much better rarely get a series of dead on hits that all go foul. Still get that occasionally and a series of power pitches is that cheating or how does that happen? Other than those problems I’m enjoying th the game it’s a lot of fun good job.

When you hit a HOMERUN before the clock runs out we should still get the points. I have lost so many games because of this

Great artwork and intuitive interface; surprisingly fun if looking for a short game to play. And unlike some other baseball games, where and when you swing makes a difference, so 5 stars from me.

It’s a really fun and simple game. It could use better opportunities to switch different equipment without downgrading so much. Also I am left handed and trying to figure out how to hit left handed on 1v1 but can’t see it.

I downloaded this game thinking it was going to be pretty similar to the first one but it so much more fun i love how you can be Albert Pujols the only thing I dislike is that the tennis ball and ninja ball don’t go very far when you hit them

I’ve been playing this since it came out and it is still so good I recommend this game to everyone and sorry for the mean and cruel comments I hope they make it up to you

All the issues people where having that I’ve read in the reviews before downloading have a not been a problem for me since I started playing and I have a few hours in at this point ‘ love the game and the animation

The game is simple. Just hit home runs. Lol It’s a fun game for those that like to strive to be the best. Been playing for a while now and still play daily. Recommend for sure.
