4.4 out of 5
No customer service

I gave this a try as my Son started kindergarten in a dual immersion school. He was not impressed. Once I realized this wasn’t goin to work for us I couldn’t figure out how to cancel the 7 day subscription. Typically all my app subscriptions are under my Apple ID and easy to manage. Not this one. Once I figured it out I was out of my 7 day window of course and I now have an expensive annual subscription. Their one “click here” for billing issues links doesn’t even work. Such a scam have it 1 star because you can’t leave it blank. They need to see how apps like PokPok operate with great customer service and very entertaining for the kiddos!

Regret purchasing

They don’t really start off with basics like counting one through 10 very easily i’m not seeing a really good progressive flow the graphics for the drawings and animation are really bad if you’ve ever seen the movie Foodfight or know about it it’s on that level my daughter isn’t really learning anything and there isn’t enough repetition unless you watch the video over and over but they jump around during the videos

Charges

My child did not enjoy KidsLearnLanguage much and didn’t learn as effectively compared to other language apps we’ve tried. Additionally, their cancellation policy is unclear. The subscription doesn’t show up in KidsLearnLanguage , and cancellation can only be done through their website after doing some research. They also fail to send monthly payment receipts or invoices, which can lead to continuous charges. Be cautious if you decide to try KidsLearnLanguage.

Lacking in many ways

I appreciate the effort KidsLearnLanguage makes in being a fully immersive experience, with that said there are many issues. We just used KidsLearnLanguage for French so experiences may vary but in general: the design/animation is lacking and a bit boring, the audio is often cut off (ie. you hear ‘jour’ instead of bonjour, vocabulary was often oddly translated (ex: an uncommon word for purple was used exclusively when teaching colors), there aren’t ways for you to speak/fill in the blanks so it feels very multiple choice-esque. My kids would be able to figure out the answers and walk away not knowing anything.

I don’t understand it

It Basically, just tell you the words it shows you you click both of them they both make words, then you click on the one that has the right words, but they don’t actually tell you what those words mean I might know chat but I don’t necessarily know what that means

Good but some oddities and room for improvement

My young son love KidsLearnLanguage but I find there are some really weird graphics thrown in that don’t help and aren’t necessary (like monsters and fortune tellers and just weird stuff). Would also be nice to be able to turn on English translations so parents can help kids understand what some phrases mean that aren’t so obvious.

fun but found an error

My daughter has been using it for a week now and it is pretty fun and good app. So far I found one mistake in the video for lesson Animal 3. When picture of giraffe appears they are naming is słoń - which is elephant in english.
To the developer please fix the mistake.

It is very good!

The only flaw that it has is the pictures or scenes in the video that aren’t necessary and that you don’t learn from. Those parts take time and you should focus on teaching the lessons not showing unnecessary scenes. Please fix otherwise 5/5!!

Hebrew

I really like KidsLearnLanguage . It’s just that I wish there was a way to just tell me what something means the first time it’s introduced. Then I don’t need it for the next 29 times it’s mentioned. But I understand the immersive experience is the goal. I just think an occasional word - written or spoken- in English is helpful. B ur in liking KidsLearnLanguage so far!

Now popular soft armor, like one

Dinolingo offers good value for families. Four kids can use it for one price. We all have our own profiles and can learn at our own pace. it is flexible enough to fit our busy schedule.

German learning app 🇩🇪

We use KidsLearnLanguage to teach German for our children. Kids are still young and they love the German videos but we realized there are no videos on some of the German lessons. They play language games too, but they want more videos please. Thank you 🙏

Reviews low, but app is great!

Been using on computer and just got KidsLearnLanguage , I was surprised at the reviews and I’m glad I didn’t see them before downloading. I’m actually not a kid, but learning Vietnamese is a struggle to find good apps. Other ones start with such complex topics and don’t build on them well, meanwhile you can’t count to 10. KidsLearnLanguage has been great, each thing I learn builds into the next lesson just enough to get that constant repetition. The graphics are complained about but they goofy and it keeps me kinda engaged. It’s also repetitive with games after videos, well, this is how we learn. If you don’t need repetition then like some reviews say I’d imagine you’ll be fluent in a week reading each word once, good luck. App is great I think, I need building blocks and when it’s time to grow I can move into something more advanced.

I’M LOVING THIS!!!!!!!!

My mom got me Dinolingo, and I am loving it! It is very fun and a great way to learn Spanish. I would encourage you to get it and learn. (you might have to help little kids who don’t know how to read yet!) Thank you for KidsLearnLanguage!!!!!!!!! I’ve always wanted to learn Spanish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
¡Adios! (I think that’s how you spell it…😊)

Great for homeschool

I’m using this for my kids ages 3-11 and it’s great, they retain a lot because of the songs and can remember the phrases from the pictures. We have tried a few other language apps but this one has helped even the 3 year old retain what he’s learning. The older ones can go through the lessons on their own and I can see their progress. I sit and do lessons with the 3 and 5 year old and I’m learning a ton! Love the worksheets and flashcards for non-screen time use and learning to write the language also. Can’t beat the price for 5 kids learning a new language. Very useful tool!

Language Learning Adventure

My daughter always struggled with learning new words. Then we found Dinolingo. Each morning, she eagerly logs in, excited to explore her French lessons. The colorful games and catchy songs have made her confident. I love that I can check her progress. Watching her learn with joy has been a heartwarming experience.

Italian for children dinosaurs 🦕

I like your app because my children use it, they learn and speak the words in Italiano 🇮🇹 and thats pretty good, but can you add the dinosaurs back to the main map? They want the see their rewards. It was better when you had dinosaurs on the map and the dinosaur eggs 🦖 . They study italian easy. Grazie , Ciao. Thanks again 👋

So FUN!!!

I love KidsLearnLanguage!!! I’m learning Romanian and I’m getting better and better every day!! So get KidsLearnLanguage if you want too learn a language and no issues so far and hopefully they won’t come finger’s crossed 🤞 and whoever gets it it will be a dream come true to learn more and more languages!!! 😁 So special thanks too whoever made KidsLearnLanguage because it is amazing!!!

Yo errar Naranja y Zelen!

I am your number one fan, and I found a big glitch. Whenever I try to do the game for Hello!, I encounter the same thing, a tiny picture of Toro saying hello to Goby, and it says to select the correct audio, but there’s no audios! I tap everywhere, and I still don’t select anything! So please fix this, and PLEASE switch back to the child voice! 🥺 you know, with the orange dinosaur and the other one? Them in a hot air balloon? Yeah, please switch back! I learn Spanish, and am on months. Thank you!

GET THIS APP!

I am 26 years old, I downloaded KidsLearnLanguage to learn Arabic. It did not disappoint! It’s better than any learning language app I’ve paid for. It’s interactive and you can repeat lessons as many times needed. So far I haven’t found any issues with it and it’s monthly fee is cheap. There’s so many apps that make you pay triple the rate to only open once and then later delete since it’s not as interactive. If you’re reading this review it’s your sign to GET IT! FYI I did read some reviews that stated it doesn’t start with basics BUT if you go through the lessons there is one for ABC’s and 123’s.

very durable app

My son used to get frustrated with language homework. Since we found Dinolingo, it has been a cọmplete turnaround. He enjoys the colorful games and interactive lessons. It is amazing to see him excited about learning Spanish. Now, homework feels more like playtime for him and less stress for me.
