We need more people to support BSPComics so that they can constantly improve and add new features and ideas to an already amazing idea of uniting the Black Sands story with a marketplace that doesn’t require you to pay out of pocket, but instead gives you daily activities to unlock other chapters and stories fro other Black and Brown creators! I’ve invested in this company because I believe in the stories being told her and I love the idea of an app coming onto the scene and blowing Marvel and Comixology out the water and now it’s turning heads and making people curious. This is one train you ladies and gentlemen need to hop on. The future is goes as far as our support; tv show, movies, video games, and more: sky's the limit. Let’s give BSP the attention it needs to grow!

Black Sands (BSP) is a “Diamond in the rough” that provides a platform for creators of color an opportunity to showcase their content, that no others provide. The BSP Comics app is another tool that makes that content more available to the masses too easily access an consume for their enjoyment. The BSP Comics app will continue to evolve into a more refined product that users won’t be without. Download BSP Comics app, use it, critique it, too help improve its performance for every user. I personally love the development of the characters that are portrayed in each of the storylines, something to definitely grow with.

So, I followed them for a while and was interested in their work, but then they posted something where a content creator was giving them criticism (which many ppl have said they aren’t good at taking) so they posted them on their account, had their followers bash the person, and also call them a bed wench (which je a disrespectful term). This led to some of BSP’s investors pulling out because they didn’t stop to think that maybe their investors had non-black spouses, so you see how this affected some people. They continued to blast the creator on tik tok and Instagram, and have also blocked and been rude to people including kids who tried to give them criticism or tell them if their app has had a few bugs which is ridiculous. Although I support black creators to the fullest, I cannot support problematic ones.

As a kid growing up, neediness was frowned upon. Within the black community, especially in the south, as newspaper/comic stands evaporated, accessibility to mainstream comics in the rural south was a pipe dream. If you could get your hands on enough material to properly nerd out, chances are, it meant spending time imitating nonblack people, which isn’t bad, but can create some identity questions.
Now as a father of 3 sons, THANK GOD for BSP Comics. Accessibility and identity are no longer things I have to hope for, and furthermore I get the chance to support creators who look just like me. I’m so thankful.

I just signed up and did a quick look over but from what I’ve seen BSPComics set up is great and the content looks amazing! And even has background music 😄 and the representation is 👌🏼! We love to see characters of color that are imaginative and strong in the forefront of their own exciting and magical tales. Just the fact that this exists is an inspiration. It gets ALL the stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❗️

(TBH I never review apps or games and stuff but I just had to write this! As a creator of color this is everything we dream to see and done extremely well!)

I don’t often leave reviews for apps but this one DESERVES it!!

The fact that BlackSands is giving the space for black and POC creators to openly be at the forefront of their own storytelling is just *chefs kiss* I’ve downloaded and used plenty of comic apps, but not too often at all do I see characters that look like me or can mirror my experience. BlackSands is doing that for me!!

Speaking of beautiful experiences the UX/UI is not only easy to use and functional but it is GORGEOUS. It felt like I was loading up the title screen to video game that I couldn’t wait to play.

But let’s not forget the main reason I got BSPComics was for the comics and let me tell you how it’s been one day since I’ve had BSPComics and the sheer speed I am inhaling these stories!!

Have no fear Black Sands Entertainment is here! I am enjoying a whole new realm of content. The kind of content that is fresh, adventure driven and represents a leap into the comic world that has not been seen. There are so many different stories to choose from and I’m just getting started. I was genuinely looking forward to BSPComics because of what it promised; a space for black comic creators and stories to exist in their own space. It was an amazing concept, but the execution thus far leaves a lot to be desired.
From the music that can’t be disabled, no matter what you’re doing (even if you’re reading a comic), to the categories listed in the library with NO comics in them (not to mention the very blurry banners)...overall BSPComics feels like it was rushed, but it’s new so there’s always room for improvement and growth. Until then, I don’t know how often I’ll frequent BSPComics .

Mannnnnn this get five stars i can’t wait to join the family I’m working on my comic right now but i love the content on here, i love the dialogue between characters, i love the details of our history being told the right way and not being white wash like everything in Hollywood, i love the promotion not afraid to be proud of his work love what you doing man continue to put it out and me and my family will continue reading NO MORE BLACK TRAUMA

Are we that desperate for Black content? First, BSPComics has some the loudest, most annoying music I’ve ever heard in an app. Completely out of place in an app like this. Second, you can’t turn it off because even if there’s an option somewhere, you can’t access any other part of BSPComics until you read the first chapter. I guess. I refused to read any further. This isn’t a game where you prevent me getting to level 2 until I finish level 1, it’s supposed to be a book app. Third, the creators are completely unresponsive, which is the worst thing of all and why I won’t give BSPComics a second look, even if they update it.

First of all the creators are really talented they have amazing writing and quality. BSPComics is giving so many people hope to achieve their dreams by creating their own stories and characters. BSPComics is really shining, like the quality and art of these comics are really blowing my mind away. While I’m reading they just keep getting better and better. Fantastic work!!

Plus it’s free to read.

I first downloaded BSPComics because it was being marketed as the first black WEBTOON then when I downloaded it I saw that it wasn’t like WEBTOON. Yes WEBTOON is a publishing company and has artists that makes WEBTOON original comics but it also has a place where people like me, who don’t know how to work with WEBTOON but still want to upload our comics on BSPComics and I thought black sands was going have that too but they don’t you have to get hired by black sands for your comic to be seen on BSPComics and I’m disappointed

All of the stories and features of the bsp app are wonderful! My one criticism is the way they books are split as to only see a few pages at a time befor going to the next section of it. Maybe try setting it up like the marvel app where you can see the whole page at once. Other than that, it’s absolutely phenomenal!

Whoa absolutely blown away🤯🤯🤯. BSPComics is amazing I was scrolling down my IG one day seen the creator post about gave it a chance, now it may be my main source of anime for a long time to come. Do yourself a favor and download BSPComics for hours of great content and weekly updates. BSPComics just delivers what it advertises that’s so rare in today market, that alone makes this a gem. 💎💎💎💎💎

These comics are AMAZING! As a mom of 3 black children, I made sure that not only myself but each of them has BSPComics and that they read these comics. The graphics are phenomenal and they give a great history of black culture that every black child should know. Parents, make sure your kids read these comics and support this great company. I can’t wait for an animated series!!!!

Just started exploring BSPComics . I love how it guides you. This is my 2nd time downloading a comic app. The other wasn’t user friendly and it was quite boring. This feels like a computerized mini game that leads you through the comics and rewards you for reading comics!

I’m still discovering so I may have to come back and update my review! If I could give them more stars I would!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩

I like BSPComics , the mission concept gives you a video game field while basically showing you the run down of BSPComics . An entertaining approach, being as its an entertainment app. Not to mention the fact it allows so many black artist to get their work out there and noticed when Hollywood’s and big media won’t. 5 starts for sure hands down

I have finally gotten to read more comics on here. I absolutely love the stories the chills that come with it. I love a good comics and the few i have read are soo good. Itll have you hooked in no time. BSPComics has mission you can do to collect some currency in app and you can collect other stuff to unlock new comics. BSPComics will have you entertained for days and days. 10/10 support this creator.

The art style of these comics and the ease of use in BSPComics is refreshing in today's app store that is filled with junk. Smart writing follows everything else that is so perfect here. The fact that this is indie and not some big production company makes it all the more satisfying. These artists, writers, and developmers deserve the highest praise and all of our attention!

The comics are wonderful and the variety of art, representation, and stories is perfection. My only complaints are with BSPComics itself. There needs to be an ad free option. It could be a monthly subscription with a one time lifetime payment option but it needs to happen. Also the upvote/downvote buttons dont always work. Please fix these two things asap.🥰

So far I am enjoying BSPComics! I usually read on WEBTOON so I am so excited to experience a different app with stories told that reflect my history. Few things I love is that the tutorial for navigation was short and simple. Very easy to navigate BSPComics overall. I love the gacha system incorporated into BSPComics also. All around great app. Keep up the good work! ♥️

I absolutely love BSPComics it’s amazing I can’t believe there’s a WEBTOON for the black people black characters it’s great seeing myself in your characters and reading about them. I love reading all type of books but black fantasy or black historical comics Ive never seen. I finally got one or a couple I’m amazed at all this great job beautiful work thank you.

BSPComics came out today and I had to get it! I love some good comics! It’s an interactive comic app that over all has a really cool ambiance! Like I said, BSPComics came out today but the structure of BSPComics over all is better than most comic apps I have used! Plus they give a really cool tutorial in the beginning so you know where to find all of the cool features!

BSPComics just swiping through comics, which would be enough since the stories are so good. It’s also set up like a game when you first which rewards you as you explore BSPComics . There’s even gacha for lore and other goodies. Plus the background music is epic! Can’t wait to read more!

It was so easy to make any account on other platforms you have to do this and that but with black sands it was amazing and easy to yours it even gives you a little tutorial when you first download BSPComics This is an amazing app I recommend it a lot 😁😁

I’ve been following the whole project as it was brought about but was still amazed at the final creation. Manuel has a lot of things figured out, his audience being the main one. Can’t wait to see how BSPComics turns out over time.

I’m absolutely in love with BSPComics and it’s stories so far. It is refreshing to see something black be great!!!!! I am a writer and I would love to collaborate with you one day and one day soon in the near future. To everyone else who is not downloading BSPComics, you’d be a fool not to!

I love having a place to read my comics on the go.

My only complaint is that I can’t seem to turn off the music, so I have to put my phone on silent to read. It won’t let me go to my account or any other settings.
