Fun game that needs some work.

I love this game, it’s the only mobile game I play and I’ve spent money on it. I’ve gotten pretty far I think but I know for a fact that I would not be where I’m at without spending the money I did. The progression in this game is horrible; one second you’re flying through the story the next you’re stuck on one boss for days on end because there’s nothing you can do to strengthen your team. There needs to be more ways to level up your dragons that aren’t locked behind a ridiculously long time limit or huge price tag, evolution stones for example are hard to come by. I also think that the game would be better with every non boss level being skippable from the beginning, and also allowing the player to control which dragon attacks first and who they attack, there are times where I’ve lost to enemies 100s of thousands of points weaker than I am simply because my dragons AI made stupid moves. Some days the only reason I come on, there’s a lot in this game but it feels like at the same time there is nothing, also, the special guild boss should automatically unlock so that active guild members don’t have to wait for an inactive guild leader to initiate the fight. When the guild leader hasn’t been on for days on end.

Experience depends on the person

I was waiting for this game for a little awhile and was very excited to download it when it came out Mainly because I’m a long time player of a game called Dragon Village M and have actively been trying to find a game I can play on the side when I am busy grinding. Overall, from the short burst I played of it it does seem very F2P. You can get dragons easily and it’s very straight forward in what you do. It’s basically just your every day auto battle game. However, like most games not everyone’s gonna like the set up. Same goes for how a lot of people enjoy summoner wars, yet, I’m not much a fan. The art work is alright. I’ve seen worse but it looks a little outdated if we are being honest. I’m really not so much a fan of the layout and wasn’t extremely hooked. However this can be a great game for some people, so don’t knock if and take in all the reviews til you’ve given it a shot. After all it is a new game and has much room for improvement and I’m sure over the years it’ll get better. Sadly I won’t be around for it. But good luck to you all

Very fun, good grind/idle

I’ve been playing this game for about 2 weeks now and so far I’m pretty happy with it! It’s obvious, as with most mobile games, that the way for fast progression is to spend money, but personally I haven’t spent any on in-app purchases and I feel that I’m making good progress. Slow, yes, but progress. You get a good amount of diamonds by simply playing the game.

The one issue I have run into with progression is the level cap on different evolution states for the dragons. I’m mostly stuck around lvl 120 for most of mine, but a few I’ve gotten past that hurdle and up to lvl 140. It’s a bit tricky when it’s pretty much a lottery to get the right dragons to evolve them, but tbh it’s mostly just patience and some crossed fingers.

Parts broken, super slow after moderate levels.

Don’t know what they did, but the mysterious portal is now broken…Computer teams will wipe my team regardless of being double their power. used to be able to run through it, but some of the dragons just outrageously one-shot my entire team, even though I have buffs/shields active, etc. This is important because the mysterious portal only resets once every couple of days and has important progression items to obtain.

After about level 70, there’s hardly any progression unless you are willing to shell out money. Gems used to upgrade dragons are so rare, I’ll most likely be stuck at this point for a long time while my player level exponentially grows.

Also, don’t buy the monthly pass twice, absolute waste of money on that front and confusing. I bought it thinking there was an added bonus which either bugged out, or isn’t included. I will admit, some of the deals are worth it, but you have to be paying attention and crunch the numbers for what you’re buying, there’s a lot of bogus deals in the mix.

Seems you have to have Facebook to get ahold of their support team which is garbage and archaic. Normally i dont write reviews, but it seems to be the only way I can voice my concerns to the devs since I haven’t had FB for the last 7 years.

Sticking around until my monthly pass expires, hopefully by then something changes.

Underrated

So, normally, I don't like games like this, but I really enjoy this game! It's fun and interesting! While I still think it could be better, it can still get more updates as it is a new-ish game! I would recommend this game and this is a game that I've always searched for, but the others were less fun, this, is an awesome game! Good job! I think a feature you could add tho is trading. If it's there, than sorry, I haven't explored far into the game yet. But, add trading, we can get the ones we want, and if you're worried about scamming, make sure that both players have to have 1 dragon to trade! It'll make it a bit more neat. Thank you for reading and thank you for this experience of a game! I enjoyed this game very much!

Great game but not as a free 2 play player

I like this game a lot. But you need to spend money to get anywhere. At first it seems great as a f2p game however once you hit a certain level you will need to spend money. I spent quite a bit now and I am still having trouble keeping up with the top players. Leveling up your characters will be a hard to do and very time consuming without spending money. This game is setup to spend.

If you do decide to play and spend money it is super fun. It has lots of different games within the game. Joining a guild really don’t give you much. Guilds only have a guild boss which gives you coins for guild shop. No guild wars. Events are fun and so far haven’t had to spend money to get too prize from event.

I am currently stuck leveling up my characters. Need 4 of the same legendary character to level to 10 star which is gonna cost you 1000s. Unless you are very luck or wait a very long time. Good luck!!

Nice Casual Fun

This game is really easy to get into and fun. The evolution of the dragons is super cool and I’m happy that it’s not one of those build a city games because I hate those games. The graphics are really good in my opinion. It reminds me of a game I used to play called Miscrits, which is kind of like Pokémon. I can’t find any other games like this. My only gripe is that I wish eggs gave more rewards since they take so long to open, but I’ve only just begun. The pricing of stuff is pretty fair compared to a lot of other games too and it doesn’t feel like a waste when I do spend money. I hope they keep it up. 👍👌

Solid Overall Experience

I’m in the middle of chapter 9 in the campaign and have enjoyed the game so far, it’s not too difficult to earn the special currency for summoning and there’s plenty of alternative items you can earn to summon also. The only things I would critique are the English translations are a little off, you can read through them but sometimes it’s a little difficult to understand what they’re trying to say. And also some of the dragon designs are shameless copies of Monster Hunter monsters and I can’t decide whether I like that or not yet.

Not f2p friendly

The game is quite fun and graphic is pretty good but you will soon realize how p2w the game is. Even when spending a few bucks the game eventually make you face against enemies that are impossible to get over. Even when waiting for weeks to raise dragon’s level, unless you pay for summons you are pretty much stuck with level cap. (Which is ridiculous consider how enemies are always appear to be lower level but hit way harder than any of your beloved dragon at maxed cap)

The game doesn’t even try hiding the p2w factors by slapping you with packs over and over again. It feels extremely unrewarding and might burns you out real quick!

Deadlock

You progress for a bit and then become deadlocked due to a major lack of a precious resource that you cannot get anymore of for several hours.

There is no way to grind armor and weapons so dragons become vulnerable which contributes to the deadlock. Levels are a one time beat only, so you cannot back track to easier levels to grind resources.

You have to wait 48 hours for a certain dungeon to reset. Better than Skylanders Ring of Heroes which makes you wait a whole month for one of it’s dungeons to reset, but at least with Skylanders Ring of Heroes you can replay past levels and replay all dungeons to grind up much needed equipment and resources.

There’s no way to speed up hatch time on eggs and not every egg gives a dragon...what? Additionally, when I put an legendary egg in to incubate, I expect to get an almighty legendary not a pathetic epic. Stop wasting my time!

There’s a major lack of a ‘help section’ that explains the mechanics better.

All of these issues just kills this game for me and makes me extremely salty. It’s a shame, because I enjoy playing it when I’m actually able to play it and not 110% deadlock.

Surprised

Actually a good game. I’m on chapter 9 and haven’t spent any money yet so f2p friendly so far. I’ve been waiting to hit the wall but haven’t yet. I’ve played a lot of these games and this is one of my favorites. You do get stuck here and there but not for long. Definitely give it a try. Also the starting rewards for the first week and daily reset help a lot we’ll see how the game goes once those are up. If I have to spend a little bit of money after that I will since it’s been a good game.

Not bad

Fun game, been playing for about a week and I’m level 64 with a power level of 227k. You can get fat without paying it just takes time….. obviously the paid to play players get way further. You get stuck when you reach where I’m at Bc the main stages and the trial tower dragons are just impossible…. I love how this doesn’t have adds BUT maybe just make the game a little more accessible to people who don’t feel like paying 50$ for this neat little game.

Suggestion

I love this game! It’s very fun and I love playing but I’ve almost quite and have stopped playing for long periods of time simply due to the fact that you can’t auto skip the story mode. I don’t want to sit there through 3 rounds just to skip anyways. It feels like a waste of time and I personally don’t even do the story anymore because of how long it takes. Which I’m sure I’m progressing much slower due to that. Please add skip to the story or at least a faster speed up.

good but

I love this game but there is one thing that I don’t like and that’s when you get to pick a dragon that you can have but they have all those other cool ones but then you can’t get them and that’s what I hate just give me a good dragon I don’t have time to see if I can get those when there is no way for that gate to open it’s stupid and dumb

😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫

Ok so first of all I was so excited that I had finally found a new dragon game that might be more fun then my other ones! So I go into the game and it does that little sene. Then when it’s over it say “your journey awaits you, Have Fun!” And that when I got REALLY EXCITED! But all of the sudden it glitches me out of the game 😭and I think there is way to much Stuff in the game that whenever I try to have fun it glitches me out and I can’t. So if you guys can fix this I would be soooooooooooo muuuuuch happier! Thanks if you try! And bye! (I also tried to delete some of my games and restart my phone but that didn’t work either so I really do hope you guys can fix this☺️)

Hidden Gem

This game was a wonderful surprise. It has plenty of variety in gameplay, ranging from multiplayer arenas to multiple different dungeons. Leveling up and evolving dragons isn’t tedious at all(specially thanks to the brilliant Crystal of Ancients system), and there are no obnoxious timed energy bars to limit your playtime. Premium currency is also very easy to obtain for free. In fact, I have yet to see any true paywall. I 100% recommend giving this game a try!

Trade

This is a pretty fun game I play it everyday. I started playing since the game came out and I liked it ever since then. But I’m so far in the game now that I have so many of the same cards that I’m able to make 11star = 1 red star of that card and I already have a 15star = 5 red stars. I wish I could trade with my team mates that be really nice or at least get money or something for dups because I have to much… please and thank you!

Best Mobile game I’ve seen in a while

This game has been my newest favorite game to play. The graphics are crisp and polished, leveling isn’t extremely difficult, and each dragon has their own story, and depth. It’s also possible to get legendary dragons, without having to spend money. I’ve never spent money on a mobile game before, but if I had some, I’d spend it on this game. Absolutely in love with Summon Dragons!

Fun till you hit a wall

I was having a great time with this game. Progression was fast kept me busy. I even made some purchases to support. But eventually the profession slows down to a crawl as you hit a difficulty wall in most activities that requires your dragons to be much more powerful. Except I need materials to upgrade them and gems to roll for new dragons to use for evolving. But without progression those things seem to come in at a trickle. So I log in every day and do my daily activities and log off. But it’s just not the same.

Not too bad early game

I’ve been playing about a week and so far it is pretty good. It’s very similar to other afk games and is pretty friendly for casual players that don’t want to spend hours playing the game each day. I know eventually there will be a pay wall, but so far the setup is nice. Plus, the graphics are pretty good and the evolving of dragons is a nice touch! It reminds me of Digimon when they evolve haha.

Good game

Been playing for a few weeks, have some things to say. I felt a little bit overwhelmed at the beginning with all the things to do, but after that the usual game loop started and it felt like everything is going at a pleasant pace. The randomized dungeon is a very nice touch to the game, never saw it anywhere else ( Although it is my 4th idle game so I do not claim to be expert). I also really like that dragons actually fully change with evolution and its not just a little cosmetical thing when they strap a few more colorful feathers and its done. Can’t really say anything bad except that the dungeon is open every 2 days. I understand the reasoning but I want to play everyday. Hope they change it in the future.    ‌

Pros and cons for me

If you count all pros and cons - it is a very solid afk-type game. For my major cons I can count occasional bugs, lack of guild content and sometimes the pacing feels a bit off. For pros - amazing dragons, I really love the design, feels like absolutely anyone can find their own favourite dragon. The stages in Fairyland of time are very enjoyable and sometimes completely change some game rules, which leaves you completely baffled, but it feels even better that way so I really like. Overall nice game, 5 stars for now.  ‍  ‌

Love gift code!

Saw one of the ads and decided to try it out. So far - really nice, quite surprising to be honest. The only issue I have with it is that you can’t enter codes on IOS right now. But the nice thing is that if you connect your account to facebook you can play it on iphone and on emulator on PC. And you can enter codes on PC without any problems. It is the only nuisance that bothers me a bit, but I found a way around. Hope you can use my method ;)‌    ‍
