What is this supposed to do

I originally saw this marketed as something to help with managing mental illness. Then when I downloaded it I saw you could also put in chronic pain as something you would like help with. I do suffer from chronic pain, but my intention was to use this for the mental illness part. Depression, anxiety, etc.

But all this thing seems to care about is my chronic pain it’s all the chat bot talks about and nothing about the mental illness stuff. I input a day and night medication reminder, and that’s all it does is ask me if I took those.

The way your website talked about this and the reviews you would think this would be Woebot level types of technology breakthrough. This is just a bland bored mood tracker that a sticky note pad and my phone alarm already accomplish. I’m disappointed. It’s been a week now I’m still waiting for it to do more than just the medication reminder and ask me all sorts of unproductive questions about my pain level.

Not Insightful

I used Juli for 6+ months. It was helpful at first to just have something to interact with while I was going through a rough patch but now it just feels like I’m a data provider. The data that is collected isn’t really a game changer in managing bipolar disorder. I still keep track of all my symptoms in a paper journal because of the lack of editing capabilities. Once you add something to track, you can’t move the order around or rename it. The data collected isn’t presented back to me in a meaningful way so there is no value. I wanted to switch through different key symptoms or behaviors to see tends and there just isn’t anything like that. I’ll be deleting my account and wish them well with their MVP.

Different but one thing bugs me

I appreciate that there is an app to help work through such problems people face. I haven’t used julichronicconditiontracker long but one thing still bothers me. I understand the reason for age restrictions on some apps however, I feel at least people 12-13 and up should be able to use julichronicconditiontracker since it’s not just adults who want to work through their problems their are so many teens who wonder what is wrong with them and want to fix themselves. An app could maybe help them since this world is now filled with technology. I have struggled with anxiety since I was 7 and depression since I was 10. This would have been useful a long time ago when I was wondering what was wrong with me and wanting to leave this world.

Good idea

I want to love julichronicconditiontracker. I love the idea of it and I like the interface a lot. My only issue is that it only connects to Apple health… it would be way more convenient if it connected to my Garmin. I’m sure others who have a Fitbit or other fitness watch would agree. Since Garmin doesn’t write heart rate data or menstrual tracking into Apple health, it doesn’t get put into Juli. Even just having the option within julichronicconditiontracker to track your period would be sufficient. It seems imperative in an app that tracks your mood and energy to also track your menstrual cycle. I’m hopeful these options will be provided in the future! For now I’m going to stick it out and use what features I can. Love the idea guys, thanks for what you’re doing!

So far so good but…

I have it tracking my headaches and depression. But for depression it only asks my mood and how much energy I have, nothing else. But gives me a questionnaire for my headaches. I went into settings and couldn’t find anything for adding more depression tracking. Plus I think it would be better to track things like anxiety too? But I’m limited to 2 and I don’t remember seeing it.

2 tiny suggestions!

As someone who struggles with bipolar for years and works in the mental health field, I would like to suggest Juli asks about my quality of sleep as well as my level of movement. Sleep is a prominent factor in wellness and symptom management. Also, many of us could benefit from daily movement. I know I would personally be more inclined to go on more walks or hold yoga poses if I was asked if I had any exercise today, even if it was light.

Missing Journals

As a simple as it is, I really do like julichronicconditiontracker. I used to journal a lot and have stopped but with Juli, I’ve been more consistent with my journals.

My only issue would be that I can’t seem to access my previous journals and luckily I realized this after only a couple days of journaling but I personally like going back and reading my entered so not having the option look back at them or edit them is a little bothersome.

I enjoy that julichronicconditiontracker gives me an easy way to journal that feels more like ranting to a friend but again, I hate that I can’t seem to read my old entires.

Cool approach!

I’ve just started using this today and I’m excited to see where it goes. I would love to see dark mode though, as I really hate apps with white backgrounds, especially for late night or early morning usage.

Great App for tracking Asthma

Really liking julichronicconditiontracker. It’s a great idea and I think if it tweaked/added a couple things it would be 5 stars. The big thing is I wish you could toggle different data sets over a monthly view. It’s cool that you can do that with your mood, but I want to see how my mood correlates to things like air quality, pollen, etc. Also I’d like to be able to edit my journal entries. Overall great app!

Love it!

I love data so I really enjoy being able to see correlations between the things I do and my mood, and I’ve already been able to make changes that have positively impacted my mood.

I wish the written diary entries were for the current day, and not the day prior, however. When I want to tell Juli something, it’s normally about something from that day that impacted my mood — but looking back at my entries, and it’s harder to remember the nuances of a day when you’re looking back on it in hindsight. Aside from that, I really love julichronicconditiontracker and am happy I found it.

Great Asthma Tracking App

I never write reviews but I really like julichronicconditiontracker and want to see it get better. I use it for my asthma tracking and journal. There are a few things that don’t make sense though or aren’t useful.

The moods could use a bit more explaining. Is it my general mood? Or is it how my asthma feels?

I don’t drink coffee but I do drink tea, so I never know how to answer that question. Maybe it would be better to ask “How many drinks containing caffeine did you have.”

How often I had shortness of breath doesn’t make sense. You could be short of breath all day. I think this question needs to be different, like how often did asthma stop you from getting a things done. Then have “none of the time” “some of the time” etc.

The outside one, I feel should give you a choice like 0-15mins, 15-30mins, 30-60, 60+

When the medication notification pops up it should give you a choice to check it off that you took it.

I love the journal aspect. That really helps. Overall great app! Just want to see it better!

Love this concept

I personally suffer from bd 2 and I started noticing that certain times of the month impacted my moods in diffeeent ways. I wanted to track different variables and this is the only app made for mental health disorders like my own. I love love love the concept! I wish the notifications to remind me to rate my mood daily would work. I have them turned on in julichronicconditiontracker and in my notifications settings in my phone so I’m not sure what’s going on with that. I also would love more in depth tracking options (like the ability to change days in the past or edit things). If I forget to log a day then I can’t add it after the fact.

A different approach to health

I love julichronicconditiontracker. Instead of being a preachy goal-setting tool, julichronicconditiontracker provides a gentle way to track symptoms and make changes. Juli trusts the user to make the choices that work for them individually, giving gentle coaching along the way. There are multiple layers of tools available. I wish there was an easy way to notify the developers when I find an occasional glitch but none of the glitches so far have distracted me from my enjoyment of julichronicconditiontracker. Thanks for a new approach to health

Helpful for tracking mood and energy levels

The Juli app is very helpful for tracking my mood and energy levels. It fills in some of the missing features on a movement tracker like Fitbit. Juli can also monitor sleep and steps, so everything is in one place. You can even schedule a daily check in time so no need to set up a separate reminder. Very useful app for keeping track of everything.

Life Changing

I’ve tried other apps that were too task-heavy for me, they just made me feel worse. julichronicconditiontracker is amazing, the most helpful part is tracking my mood. I can see on a graph and calendar that I’m not as miserable as I thought, I have more good days than I ever gave myself credit for before. My depression assessment has continually improved. When I have a bad day or stretch of days, I don’t feel as bad as I used to because I know I can bounce back. This has been so helpful for me, I’d highly recommend it to anyone who wants to work on their life state.

Feature suggestion

I love julichronicconditiontracker! It would be seriously helpful if it were possible to choose the date you’re submitting data about. It asks questions about ‘yesterday’, but I use julichronicconditiontracker before bedtime when the day is still fresh in my mind.

Incredibly helpful

I have only had a diagnosis of bipolar disorder for a few months and I had been hearing about the importance of tracking my symptoms and I have found julichronicconditiontracker to be very helpful in doing that in an easy way.

I could cry…

I am so grateful for finding julichronicconditiontracker that I could just cry. Lately I’ve came to the conclusion that I possibly could have bipolar disorder II because I notice the changes in my behavior and mindset often but now I can finally track my emotions and see the bigger picture each day that comes around. I cannot thank Juli enough for making julichronicconditiontracker, and the part that gets me is that it’s free and I really hope it stays that way because I feel mental health tracking, planner, or whatever you may want to call it, should be free and accessible to all people.

Thank you Juli 💜

Love the app

I really enjoyed my experience with Juli. I felt like I was held accountable but given space to document and interact with my own journey. There are a lot of neat features and data that can be connected to the platform.

it's pretty sick

it's great and easy to use. i love that i can see a graph of my moods. it also monitors mania symptoms and helps give you a warning if you maybe are manic based on the moods tracked. on too of that, juli will give me an assessment every two weeks to check my mania and depressive symptoms as well. a very nice feature! theres also a journal, medication reminders, and a check in with juli reminder, but you can do it any time.
the only issue ive found is that i want to remove some additional trackers from my dashboard but they havent gone away after refreshing and force closing julichronicconditiontracker after i switched them off. could be a glitch or maybe takes time to go away, not sure but also no big deal.
i would also like it if you could log how youre feeling alone without having to answer any other questions. im still exploring julichronicconditiontracker so maybe im clueless and will figure it out in time but either way, i would recommend! i cant wait to see how julichronicconditiontracker improves!
