Totaled it up and realized I’ve spent $171 on this game in two months. Bought the $50 forever package to collect gems daily, only to run out of “hotel levels” and still waiting on the next one to open to be played. There’s 80 levels to each “hotel”. By level 40 you have all your upgrades so you spend the next 40 levels with nothing to do but be on repeat with no further upgrades available to equipment. Very seldom are there limited time extra adventures to be able to win upgrades or coins. My last straw is after already spending $150 on this game, I spend another $20 on the Sakura pass. I get a new phone, log into the game, and my Sakura levels were reset to zero, and my pass is gone. I reached out to support 4 days ago and all I keep getting is “connect it to facebook”. Despite me explaining that it is, and I have proof of purchase. Now the Sakura limited event is halfway over, I’m out even more money, and support hasn’t answered me back in two days. They’re more than happy to continue taking your money, but when it messes up, they don’t care. I went from super excited about this game to being livid and not even wanting to open it anymore.

I have loved this game until recently. I’m playing the Crystal Palace level and the levels are completing while I’m still serving guests. For example, I “lost” a level because I was $139 short of the goal. However, I was in the process of serving a lobster to a guest, which would have been $60, and had two guests to check out, which would have been $52 each. I would have won the level and exceeded the goal if the level had actually let me finish playing the round. However, the levels are ending saying that there are no more guests and that I haven’t hit the target. But not all of the guests have checked out - I’m still serving them!! I’ve contacted support twice and no resolution. It’s super frustrating to have a game set you up for failure when you should be winning. I hope they figure out what’s causing this and correct it soon. I’d be happy to revise my review at that time because I have thoroughly enjoyed this game up until now.

Way too much time and actual money is needed to advance in this game. They even try to pull you back in by offering a pet to “help” you but the pet not only takes forever to recharge before you get a whole one min of the benefits, it often needs things like a bone or vet visit that costs 20-30 gems at a time. It’s not worth the hassle. Not only this, it has a glitch where it’ll say the daily reward is there, but then when I click it, it accuses me of adjusting time settings to get it. Sorry, I don’t have the time nor the desire to go that far for a whole $200 coins that are worthless without gems anyway. These guys need to get it together. Some levels are impossible to beat in the events like the Sakura festival without the power ups which cost, you guessed it, tons of gems!!! Good luck, you’re going to need it unless you’re willing to spend a hundred bucks for a few hours of game play.

You won’t be able to play without spending money. And I don’t mean a few bucks here and there. Realistically, you’ll have to buy boosts and gems consistently just to keep playing once you get to double-digit levels. It sucked the fun out of it completely, which is unfortunate because the game really was fun! And I actually don’t have a huge problem with spending money in games, I’m happy to do it for others if it’s worth it.
However, the price for boosts and gems is too high for the amount you get, the free “rewards” are not very helpful, and honestly, all the other reviews are right- the timing of guests/orders is off. The developers seemed to have designed the game so you have to start spending money right away and frequently.
ADVICE: Try a different hotel or cooking game, there are others that are a lot better. After less than a week, this game is unplayable without a 20 dollar gem pack that will only help you beat one level. You’ll have to spend more each level. If you’re going to spend money in a game, don’t waste it on this one. You’ll keep losing and the developers will keep winning your money.

This game could be awesome… it’s a fun concept, great graphics and plenty of variation in the different hotels. BUT! quite a lot of the levels are super hard and you simply HAVE to have gems to upgrade and energy drinks to give you the speed you need to complete. I have had sooo many problems with earning rewards (through watching videos and or gifts from developers when they complete an upgrade) I am told I’ll be receiving gifts, but they don’t credit my account. There slo seems to be huge discrepancies in the daily video packages… I get to watch a total of 10 videos a day - split into 2 halves, earning a few gems and coins. My husband gets to watch a total of 20 videos, and his rewards include boosters such as the energy drinks! How and why does this even happen?
When I report the problems, I’m asked for screen shots. How can you send a screen shot of something you didn’t receive?
Developers… your game has many many glitches and you need to sort them out! I have spent money on this game… now I’m about to delete it for good. You can’t expect a player to enjoy being let down and disappointed when the game is unfair.

It’s better balanced, has all the same ideas, and you won’t be waiting for people to order while customers at the reception are getting angry that you haven’t cleaned the still-full room. I think there’s some kind of bug on this game that stops people from ordering until you’ve completed some other action, like, way too often I’ve only gotten people to order after I check in the person I was hoping to have the room cleaned out for. Way too much time is spent waiting... and then you get punished for being too slow. And I don’t mean by suddenly having 6 orders to fill. I mean because it takes 4 seconds for people to order and the reception has a max patience of 4 seconds. That’s the definition of unbalanced.

Seriously. I’m only playing this because I beat the other games. It’s not a difficulty or speed issue. It’s a balancing one.

HotelCraze is fun and they have adjusted the difficulty so it is still difficult but not impossible to pass. It just may take a few tries. However the events are a problem. They only allow 2 hours to collect ingredients and that is simply not enough time. I play sporadically throughout the day and cannot immediately sit down with it and play for two hours straight. Also as I am progressing through a location it takes time to build up enough coins and diamonds to upgrade not to mention the time it takes for the upgrade to actually happen. I don’t understand why the ingredients and Easter eggs are not available at all locations either. That is the one thing that has put HotelCraze way above the other hotel apps is the fact you can keep playing locations that have been completed. I enjoy playing these other locations while I am waiting for the upgrades to happen in the newest location. It would make the events much more fun if the ingredients and event items could be found throughout all locations and that you would give the whole day to find them all instead of just two hours. I have not found all of the ingredients for the day yet. It’s just frustrating and takes the fun out of the game. I kind of want to stop playing it while the event is on just because it’s frustrating to know I cannot take part in the event for lack of ingredients.

I really love this game, I like that your lives restore fast compare to other apps. The design of the game is so beautiful I love the colors and the cartoons movement is very nice. I’ve been playing this game for maybe 6 months or less and at the beginning was nice if you couldn’t complete the level they give you the option of watch an add and you get like an extra costumer I was fine with that but now since the last update you getting adds everywhere if you get out HotelCraze and you comeback there’s an add if you finish the game there’s an add and is really annoying also sometimes you press play and the add comes while the game in the background is already started so if you refresh HotelCraze you will loose a live… I will love if they fix this

I really do enjoy playing this game and I have played A LOT of it! However… the levels are basically impossible to beat unless you have power-ups and other things to help you out. I like a little bit of difficulty but not too much that I can’t even play the levels in order without spending gems to get power-ups. It is literally IMPOSSIBLE to beat levels without something to help you!!! And I don’t like that…
I have got into the habit of replaying the first hotel map over… and over.. and over again to earn more gems. I replay that one over and over because it’s the easiest map. But, let me tell you, it takes FOREVER to earn enough gems to buy power-ups in this game!!!! And when you FINALLY have enough gems to buy a power-up, you only get a set of three. Once those are all used up, back to the grind we go… It’s pretty frustrating…
Trust me. I would really enjoy even more of this game if the level difficulty wasn’t so frustratingly impossible… and I would be playing a whole lot more of this game than I already do now if they just took some time to tweak it. Just saying…

I was so hoping this would become one of my most favorite games to play. The first two hotels were great. I loved it. But then came number 3. I still cannot get it. As for the pet event. I cannot get it. In order to get through the extended events, I use the first hotel. I have tried to save up boosters and diamonds and money to get through number 3 but there is just too much for the bell hop to do and the distance seems longer and the guests have less patience. Probably not but it is murder. I am about ready to give up. The developers of all these games always know how to ruin it. They always find a way. I noticed that even with many others saying that it was way too difficult, they pat each review with - we try to make each level fun and challenging. Stop it! Listen! We are crying out for a game that we can love playing. I’m used to watching ads in the game, but why do I need to watch over 20 ads a day for a game that I cannot make progress. I’ve made plenty of money for you. At least get off your high horse and help us instead of patronizing us. Why showcase 15 hotels when we can’t get pass the 3rd? And you know what? I know you’re not going to pay any attention to us. So I am through wasting my breath and my time. You ruined the best of the hotel games I’ve played.

The level is too hard without using the booster to get through. With so many station to work with and only 1 person doing it seem ridiculous. Please make the level more fun to play and not stressful. You could adjust the level or add 1 more person that can run around.

The gems needed to upgrade the facilities is an absurd amount of money. You need approximately 650 ish gem to level up all facilities in Crystal Palace, which is only one hotel. But you only get around 28-30 gem per day. More if you play to get the bonus but still its so little compare to what’s needed.

I love the game and how its not too heavy and make my phone hot when playing it. Love how I can left the game anytime and pick it up where I left. So hard to find one this days. So this game have a lot of potential for me. Please make some improvement. The long period event is also fun cause it didn’t rush me. I don’t have time to care for short period event. So great job on the events.

Each item such as the bag of coins, the “sands of time” the paw print, as well as all the others....why should I experiment trying to figure out each thing, waste game time and lose the item if I use it wrong. I reached out numerous times within the game, they said “no” when I asked for a description of each boost.
Why when I click on the dog I paid for, he is sleeping and showing a broken heart? Yet he runs around each hotel? Your boosts are hard to figure out. In the meantime I’ve lost many boosts trying to do “trial and error”
I too have spent real money on this game. BUT if your customer service is going to continue to be rude, you may lose me and I’ll drop the game and post all over the internet about your lack of help to your players!!
It would be a shame as you have a good game here!

I agree with the person’s review that talked about the timing being bad in regards to the people waiting in line for a room. It’s not “challenging” but rather impossible to get past without using special power ups. Not just that, I’ve had it where everyone waiting in line for a room sat there to the point they all got angry and left and none of the guests left their rooms the entire time. Maybe there was a glitch or something but I took a screenshot to prove it. It’s sad because I used up so many of my power ups to try to keep them happy but it didn’t work out in the end and I still lost. Hopefully you guys can fix that because other than those problems, I really do like the game and I appreciate the challenge when it’s not made impossible to beat.

I agree with another player’s review about fixing the timing. The customers are arriving before you can get the orders of the people already in the rooms. You shouldn’t have to use up so many boosts on one level. I enjoy the game, but that problem is about to make me stop playing. I understand wanting it to be a challenge at upper levels. After several attempts at the same level, I feel the difficulty level should be less challenging to allow the player to advance to the next level. If you get stuck on a level for a week or so you feel defeated and just stop playing. It’s fun and I definitely have enjoyed playing it.

This game is typically my go-to time killer and I have progressed pretty far. The levels can be difficult, but it makes the game less boring to have that challenge. Upgrades for hotels cost a lot of diamonds so there is some waiting involved, however the game has given me plenty of diamonds as various rewards for things. The only complaint I have about this game is the insanely long wait times for upgrades to arrive. At times you can’t beat a level without certain things upgraded, but when you have to wait 12+ hours for the upgrade to arrive that can frustrating. Although, I spend that time playing previous hotels to rack up more diamonds. All in all a pretty fun game :)

This game is the one I play most consistently. Its really fun. BUT the amount of commercials you have to watch in order to play it well, can be fun prohibitive. Also it’s really buggy. 70% of the time there is some sort of bug issue. They tend to fix them within 24hrs but it’s specifically this problem that stops me from investing money in this game. Also, their offers are terrible. And, even if I spend 10 bucks on a pittance of beneficial game assets, I’m still gonna have to watch their incessant commercials in order to complete my game levels so what’s the point?! Bottom line, if you have the time, the game can be fun. If you don’t, do not bother, it will annoy the crap out of you.

I love this game. It’s very addicting. The game is challenging but their upgrades have made it so difficult to pass levels, most of the time you can not pass a level as you must upgrade in the shop to pass a level, but can’t do that without the diamonds and you can’t get the diamonds without passing a level, so there are times that that you sit in limbo for days, that can be extremely frustrating because I don’t want to pay money for the diamonds.

So if you find yourself in that scenario which I do all the time, I just don’t play the game for a couple of days and then for some reason it then allows you to pass a level, you do the upgrade then again will have to wait anywhere from 1-12 hours for the upgrade to take place.

Still fun, just don’t like the waiting for hours or days sometimes.

I love playing this game and actually pay for diamonds to play a level faster. Now I’m really frustrated because I paid for the 1100 diamonds pack 2 times to get the 2 for 1 deal on 11/6 which should give me 3300 diamonds but the first purchase credited me nothing and the second purchase credited me 1100. I’m using the Contact Us in-game to explain the issue and it’s been a week and I still don’t have my missing 2200 diamonds. You told me to send proof of purchase via email so I did but still nothing. If I spent all my diamonds I bought I might make purchases again but until I get what I already paid for, I’m waiting. I’m a paying player that you’re about to lose if you don’t address this issue soon!!

Update: by writing this review, I finally got the credit for the missing diamonds I was looking for in-game so I’m happy again. I updated my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars as a result. If they would just respond more quickly to payment and credit of purchases issues in the future, they would deserve 5 stars.

I’ve been playing this game for probably around a year and I love it, it passes the time and stays just challenging enough to keep me entertained. I’ve spent money in the past for gems and it was well worth it (daily offer $2 for 100 gems is great)

Then the game updated and for some reason I can’t seem to stay logged in through Facebook! It’s incredibly frustrating, I agree to connect when the game first loads and sometimes it glitches right then and refuses to load the game. If it does load the game and I start to play, I get interrupted literally every 30 seconds saying I need to connect to fb! It messes with the flow of the game entirely and if I’m playing with a 10-15 minute boost, that time gets eaten away by me constantly having to hit “cancel - continue” every few seconds! I hope this issue is resolved soon because I love playing this game, but the login glitch kills the enjoyability of it and I can’t play 😩

Update: I posted a less than positive review of this game in the past. However, times and previous concerns have changed. Glitches have been addressed and the game is again one of the best. It is one of the best games to increase coins and diamonds in order to complete upgrades and get boosts without breaking the bank. Graphics have always been great. The levels are challenging without being frustrating. Don’t miss out so get the game now or again today❣️❤️❣️

In general this is a good and addictive game but there’s an issue about the watch ad- reward system. You are supposed to gain some small rewards ie 3/10 progress to gain a magic wand. It’s frustrating to see you gain actually nothing after you watch several long ads! Even when you finish 10/10 of the progress and see the cartoon showing the reward flied into your collection. Please fix this bug. I’ve updated a few times since I found this bug but it is still not fixed. Now I just ignore the watch ad- gain reward opportunities.
