HEIC to JPEG Reviews

This is my first time to try to use it after downloading HEICtoJPEG . Can’t get it to work.

There was no way to give permission of access files folders so I could convert. Too tedious to re-save under photos and convert from there and then save as files again.

Not friendly. Requires photos to be downloaded from photo library but they cannot be placed into photo library until they are converted

Turns into a .30 or so file and not able to open it…. Use something else

I would not recommend wasting your money on HEICtoJPEG. It only converts one file at a time. And I can’t even locate half the files I want to convert.

Only worked once and then never gave me the options to share again.

I go through the process of adding photos to library, but app glitches when trying to convert and share. Tried on two devices. Works 1 out of 20 attempts.

This was a really great app for about a week and then suddenly it would only convert 10 images at a time. I bought the subscription so that can’t be the limiting factor.

Not stable. Trying to use it now and it’s not working. It used to work well

When my screen goes to standby HEICtoJPEG seems to lose the internet and some photos fail to transfer. When I transfer the fails in a second attempt, the numbering is lost when I deselect those that successfully transferred, so I have to count the pictures to re-select the failed pics, which then get renumbered from zero. I have to transfer them to a new folder, renumber them and the put them in the folder with the others. Original numbering should be retained on photos that fail to transfer and HEICtoJPEG should be able to work in background when the phone goes to standby.

App works okay when I can choose the images I want to convert. However I find it difficult to choose my images. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong or what.

One button conversion but the program only pull up the main photos folder. You can’t get to Favorites Folder or any other folders. Terrible to get yo older photos.

I was really disappointed in HEICtoJPEG. There is no way to choose an album of photos to be converted. There is no way to select all photos to be converted. Each photos must be selected individually before it can be converted. Well I have 900 and some odd photos and doing them one at a time is a huge waste of time. Especially since I’ve already put these photos in the albums.

My second complaint is that you supposedly get a free trial before you have to pay the subscription fee. I think that is equitable, but this free period turns out to be three days and you have to cancel one day before the end of your free period to avoid being charged for the whole subscription. So you’re free. Turns out to be from whatever time you bought this thing until midnight and then one more day and then you have to cancel it. I think a weeks free trial is a lot better deal for the user.

That said I managed to convert four images before I gave up and decided it was too much bother. I was able to run those images through the photo app on my PC to make them smaller and crop. The images seem to work fine on the PC.

Easy to use, quick conversion. Doesn’t change photo quality at all.

Does exactly what it says easily and quickly.

HEICtoJPEG is awesome, simple to use, uploading pictures on my GoDaddy website within minutes!

HEICtoJPEG works really well, even with the free version. You can only convert and send one photo at a time, but it’s quick and easy! Love!

Also allows for conversion of multiple images at the same time
