Convert - GIF & Live Wallpaper Reviews

Well 🥲 I’ve been trying for months now to find a way to get a video on my wallpaper but none of those ways have worked. I found Convert and thought that I finally found a way to make my dreams come true. Unfortunately, it didn’t work. I followed all of the steps precisely so don’t say I did anything wrong. I gave Convert 2 stars because Convert is at least great for converting videos to live photos or gifs. I don’t know if it doesn’t work just because my phone is an iPhone 6+ or what. Anyway, this was a nice try but it failed to reach my needs.

I downloaded and opened Convert . It asked for permission to access photos and I chose allow access to all photos. But when I chose a video to this app, it showed a pop-up box saying please wait and the disappeared within a split second. Keeps going on like this so I can’t do anything at all. It has only worked (I was able to trim the video and converted it) one time for me after so many attempts and then not working again.

Edited: it looks like it only works with some videos, and it doesn’t seem like the length of the video matters. So I don’t really know what the problem is.

So Convert is really useful if you want to take a gif and turn it into a live photo. There isn't any glitching or confusion. I would definitely recommed buying.

I was able to this app one photo and now this thing won’t let me upload anything else. I mean there’s no toolbar to do it and I’ve closed it and reopened it multiple times and it still won’t give me the option to grab more gifs. Smh dumb.

It only allows me to upload photos once. It converts nicely into live like I wanted. But when I want to this app more later, I can't upload anymore content to this app. The only way is to delete Convert and reinstalled, hence the 1 star.

It probably doesn’t work because I have a iPhone SE so maybe you can update it so it can work on any phone

Convert is really slow and doesn’t let you make a wallpaper at all. Convert is a waste of time and is extremely useless. You should never get Convert, trust me!

I downloaded a whole holy gif for Convert and it came out lookin delayed and glitchy and not even 4k AND SUPER PIXELATED I DONT KNOW WHY YALL KEEP SAYING IT ONLY WORKS ON OTHER VIDS IT DOESNT

It does some things well, eg downsizing Live Photos and trimming time… but it removes the sound! Also, very limited in resolution options for the output.

I guess the search for the perfect Live Photo editor (including variable size output, sound preservation, one time purchase, no data snooping) continues.

Big props for no data collection and one time purchase, though.

This is an important app to have in being creative

I tried multiple times to this app it into my wallpaper but all that shows is an image… don’t get if you want it for that reason. It’s good at converting it but overall I gave it a 2.

Does not work I don’t know if it’s my phone or not because my phone is an 11 and it doesn’t let me add any photos or it just pops up all blank,😢

I really like Convert it super cool

I was looking for a way to make a rly cool gif I saw into my wallpaper, so I searched it up on Safari. I was taken to a website and then to Convert. I did each step correctly abt 5 times and it didn’t work. I’m disappointed. :P

Ok so I think this is a fun app but it doesn't work for mine and whenever I turn a photo or a video in to a gif it works but, it never moves like it should when on my home or lock screen. I've tried with many different photos and videos but it never works. It moves when looking at it in my camera role but, it's always just sitting there like a dead rat when on my home or lock screen. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong!

I give this three stars because it worked before I never got a chance to use it, but I knew that it worked but Apple has patched it, and you can no longer use live videos as your wallpaper so if you’re planning to download it for that don’t it can transfer videos to gifs that’s about it

I make my own live wallpaper and it works very good but my live wallpaper doesn’t sound. Please developer helps me
