great features for artists, but has some issues.

Overall, this app is amazing for presenting your art, with many options that other socials don’t have, like collections or sliders. That being said, I notice that while Bubblehouse is 12+ there is lots of art that is nsfw. I would really appreciate it if users could have the option to not see any art with that tag, or something like that.

While this app isn’t like other social media in ways that I like, there are some ideas I think should be incorporated. I really like the story option on Instagram as a way to show wips and do polls. I feel like it makes the experience more personal. I also like how the background color is always black or white on Instagram, since it provides a plain background for your art.

Even though it has some flaws, I think this app is a really great place for artists, and I’m excited to see what it will look like in the future.

Really Cool Modules for Artists!

I love that Bubblehouse allows artists to show off their art progression in ways that are otherwise really hard on mainstream apps. I think a lot of artists agree that although the final product is what they want to show off the most, sometimes there are details that you wish people noticed about your art.

this app allows you to show off your sketches, lineart, and progress videos without worrying about messing up the “aesthetic” of your page (and I personally like showing the Before/After of adding lighting effects to my art). Obviously Bubblehouse isn’t perfect as it is quite new (e.g. occasionally Bubblehouse will close itself after I delete one of my posts), but I have really high hopes for this app becoming a big platform for creators in the future!

An amazing app especially for beginner artists

An amazing app for artist that I greatly recommend for artists, it has amazing options for posting artistic images, It is missing some things, the ability to filter tags, and the ability to interact with other artists more easily out of comment sections, and some other things but this can easily be explained as it being new, Bubble house is a great place especially for new artists it has a lot of space to grow and become a great app and I can’t wait to see that happen

Nice

I like Bubblehouse very much! The way you can present your art through it is really dynamic me unique. I can’t wait until more people get on Bubblehouse to find other fellow artists. I do have one concern though which is it crashing easily. If I try to open Bubblehouse through a notification it crashes. It also takes a very long time to load the screen and will just stay white until and I close and reopen Bubblehouse again.

I also wish you could tag people in posts, or at least like their comments so it doesn’t seem like they go unnoticed.

A big part of art is receiving compliments and critiques, so being able to acknowledge them without typing out a response for everyone would be much easier.

amazing idea

i love the concept. it’s new and fresh, and the image quality of my art is the absolute best i’ve seen on ANY app. the only two things that need improvement is the ability to edit posts (which i hope could be changing the slider and the caption; or maybe more), and the small amount of movement that is in Bubblehouse . i know the last one isn’t in the developers control and it is something that can be helped with time, but you can really feel the silence on there (though through their home page i’ve found plenty of amazing artists and their own this app account even likes my own posts!). i think marketing and spreading the word could help, and i’ll definitely help them too!

BAD HOPE THEY FIX IT ASAP WITH BETTER TOOLS

Bubblehouse started off great. There are a lot of designers and web3 platform to design your NFTs but once you make one mistake they shut your whole page down and you will lose all your money. As well we are giving free NFTs designs or tools and recreate but they say we stole them. Very inconsiderate. I would not want to use Bubblehouse incase you sold your NFT if you make a mistake on one NFT they will close down your entire account and you will lose all your money and gains. I have made mistakes but create my own work with tools and web3 platform which gives you statuses to design new ideas or projects. And there are so many bots they have a lot of fixing to do I hope the creator of Bubblehouse really make some new changes. Where artist doesn’t get there page deleted because of one mistake NFT. When we are artists and have rights as well.

Great innovation but lacks basic features

The new types of posts are without a doubt amazing. The sliders and boards and other styles all clearly demonstrate that Bubblehouse is designed to showcase art.

But it doesn’t have tagging, a fundamental feature on social media for artists to share and categorize their work, but also to interact with their audience.

Additionally, there’s no iPad version. There’s just the iPhone version, which on an iPad is displayed in portrait-only and low resolution.

This seems like a major fail, to me, given the audience. If we’re creating high res art in Procreate, or some other iPad app, why continue the bad habit of making artist export their work to some location accessible by their phone just to make them upload it? And why wouldn’t you want to at least allow landscape mode for browsing the boards?

I also keep running into a bug with the explore page. Eventually I’ll scroll far enough for it to load more images, but they will be a grey placeholder while loading. Once they do load, I’m not in the same position on the page. Usually there’s several screen lengths of missed posts above.

The start of something great

Just downloaded this morning and was working smooth but I think the platform has WAYYY more internet traffic and now my app is slow. I’ve opened other apps and everything is smooth but this platform now. Can’t wait for updates and the future.

The app is working for me now

I am not sure why but I open Bubblehouse and I can scroll but if I do anything else like try to go to my profile, or the explore page Bubblehouse closes. I had Bubblehouse before the NFTs were started and haven’t had these issues till now. I reloaded and restarted several times, Bubblehouse and my phone. Thought it was a storage issue but I deleted several apps and photos and still Bubblehouse closes when I try anything. And because this app is an app I can’t do anything unless Bubblehouse is used on my phone. So I am out of luck! Right when I thought I could actually sell my artwork.😭

Used to be cool

Bubblehouse used to be cool — it had nice features such as a slider, a gallery, and, most importantly, no hidden algorithm. Unfortunately this app is now branding itself based on NFTs and I’ve lost interest. My problem with NFTs is that it’s a major source of plagiarism and art theft with no serious protections in place. Deviantart at least has an art theft detection tool ( Bubblehouse does not), but it’s still hard to remove stolen art on openseas and other platforms without making an account. I’m not sure if this app developers have seriously considered this issue; last time I checked, there’s no report button for stolen art. Hope that changes. I’m only giving Bubblehouse a review because I can’t delete or deactivate my account.

STAY AWAY if you’re not into NFTs

If you’re an artist that’s not interested in NFTs and are worried about your artwork getting turned into one without your permission, then stay away from Bubblehouse.

I downloaded this when it first became available and it showed a lot of promise. It had a lot of cool features and I liked networking with other artists.

Unfortunately, they ruined it by changing their focus to being SUPER NFT heavy and practically showing it down our throats. It’s become overloaded with bots as well. The main reason why I wanted to leave a review is to warn others because, at the time of writing this, there is no way to delete your account once you have created one.

Seems really awesome!!

The premise and layout and the FEATURES!!! seem very very nice!! It seems relatively small right now, and i understand will be a little jittery and buggy, but im more than willing to dive past that and hold onto this.
As of right now I am trying to post an evolution slider thing (very excited about that) but it just continues to load, then the loading symbol goes away and nothing happens. I spent a few minutes cropping all the pictures best I could so im not keen on just exing out lol.
Hope to see Bubblehouse and community blossom and hopefully flourish!! :^)

So far enjoying it!

So far I’m enjoying Bubblehouse ! The templates are interesting and the fact that it caters to artists is nice! There are still a few bugs from what I can see. One of my posts appears to be “smeared” in places like the pixels are broken in some way? After browsing for a bit a white block blocked most of the screen so I was unable to see some posts. I’m sure they are still fixing the bugs though because I think Bubblehouse is relatively new.

No Thanks

NFTs are not environmentally friendly and it was not nice to realize, as a user, I was not informed of this change of their focus. What went from a friendly community art app with some honestly neat features to present said art, I cannot in good faith support an app that supports NFTs.

Bubblehouse itself was at times difficult to navigate within. There is no delete account feature or any other type of editing of your profile feature. Which makes me wonder if this was done on purpose due to the sudden switch of NFTs to trap artists in their accounts. I have emailed to delete the account and I hope they follow through.

Amazing variety, but could have more!

I LOVE all the different posting options it has, especially now that we can edit post descriptions!

However, i think it would be good to have some kind of hashtag system to be able to find specific kinds art to look at. Or maybe even different categories to post to, so that we could chose to look at specifically (for example) original characters, Fanart, Paintings, etc.

But its a great app so far!

App is a SCAM! Art app turned NFT

Had my account since 2021 when they app was first launched as an “artist friendly” then after a few months with no warning (and a very high userbase) the this app app turned into an NFT bubble. Bubblehouse DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO DELETE YOUR PROFILE WHICH I FIND EXTREMELY UNTRUSTWORTHY. Popular Instagram Artists cane forward saying they stopped supporting bubble house due to their shady move to NFT wallets. Bubblehouse is now filled with broke college kids trying to scam other’s no reasonable adult would even stay on this platform. Disgusted with this app and their untrustworthy app im very certain this is a scam. YOU SHOULD ALLOW PEOPLE TO DELETE THEIR PROFILES I WOULDNT DOUBT Bubblehouse IS SELLING OFF OR USING INACTIVE ACCOUNTS AS BOTS!

Bait and switch :(

I joined this app last year because it was advertised as another art platform like Instagram. Admittedly it has been a while since I last opened Bubblehouse , and I’m very disappointed to see that the developers turned this into an NFT app after exclusively advertising itself as a regular art social media platform with no mention of NFTs in its initial advertising. It’s also frustrating that I am unable to delete my account myself which I feel was a tactic to trap artists into keeping their accounts because they know most artists feel strongly against NFTs.

I will no longer be using Bubblehouse.

Disorganized and a mess. Low quality content

Bubblehouse had so much potential with its functions for artists. But now it is just getting worse and worse. With the new nft function added, it pushed Bubblehouse to a new low. The contents are mainly super low quality works aimed at quick cash-grab. Good artists are all gone, only the ones that focus on photo manipulations or with poor skills are left, thinking they somehow can make a fortune by trying out their “luck”. Everyone is advertising their nfts whether they can create decent work or not. Also, a lot of stolen works being sold as nfts. Extremely shady platform.

Overrun With NFTs

Bubblehouse was advertised as a good place for artists to post their work and interact with other artists. However, it now feels like it was advertised that way in order to lure artists onto Bubblehouse before going into a full NFT takeover.
Maybe I wouldn’t feel like the intentions were off from the start if there was a way to actually delete my account, but as it is now, I can only delete my art and log out.
I have seen NFTs cause so much harm to artists, and watching Bubblehouse be so involved with them made me feel very uncomfortable posting there.
Just disappointing overall.

Leaving what I thought was a nice photo sharing app.

Joined this app a while ago when it was just about art. I really loved the cool slider mechanics, made sharing art more fun. Didn’t check Bubblehouse for a couple months, and now it’s all about NFTs? I got notifs that I got a gift or whatever that meant. Didn’t realize opening it would leave me stuck in some random, spammy nft groups. I’ve deleted all my art from here and I’m currently trying to delete my profile cuz I don’t want to be involved with it. Was a cool app and now it’s just awful user experience wise with all the nft spam.

This app is great!

Bubblehouse is great! And I absolutely love the design of it! But there is some bugs that I keep seeing. Ex: my pfp, banner, and posts dont load even when I reload my profile it wont go back to normal, so I have to restart Bubblehouse when ever that happens, but overall Bubblehouse ’s awesome asf🔥🔥🔥
