Why the university can’t just link gym access to the student/staff polyIDs is a mystery to me. If they want to have an app for joining classes, getting info, etc… ok I guess, but still it’s no better than a mobile web site. I don’t like carrying my phone to the gym, and this app is about as half baked as the last cake my 102 year old grandma with Alzheimer’s tried to make. Waiting for a barcode to appear every time, even if you’ve already loaded it that day? Slow app startup? Buggy login system? You’re in luck, this app has all of these problems and more!

This app takes absolutely forever to load in from the green loading screen. The barcode works after waiting 10 seconds and kicks you out occasionally, requiring signing in again. Also, the app does not work unless tracking is enabled, which is weird. The sole purpose of this app was to provide a barcode that changed daily, and it failed to serve that simple purpose.

Not sure who Cal Poly ASI hired to make this app but it is clunky and slow loading times. Not worth whatever they paid, hopefully it was an intern that made it because I know students that could do a better job of making an app like this by themselves. Hopefully Cal Poly pay for an update to make it faster because the hand scanners were more efficient
