Hacking is awful

At first, I really liked this game. It was a little slow at first, but then it started to pick up. But right when you are actually getting into the story, they ruin it with the hacking. It is slow, tedious, and not fun to play. Then it is hard to get back into the story, especially if the hacking takes you a bit. Really wish I could finish this game but because of the hacking, it is just unplayable. Thanks for the beginning of a decent story, but I will not be finishing.

unplayable

I don’t mind paying for games in fact I paid for this one but at some point you have to stop spending money on the game and that’s where the type of advertising allowed, completely renders it unplayable.
The majority of the ads are inescapable (not all). If you have a couple of moves left Don’t expect to get your three bonus moves from watching the add as you’ll have to close TheSign out completely and start over.
It doesn’t matter how you play, you WILL have to watch those ads or pay and I’ve paid enough for what this is.
The storytelling is done well and it is very interactive. I would say this is probably a five star game. The issue is you could reach the end of a five star game .

It’s okay

It’s kinda drawn out and not really that suspenseful. Maybe if some creepy ambiance music was added. I couldn’t really get past 45 minutes or so of the game and lost interest (-2 stars). Also, I was reading through the reviews and saw someone else ask if you can romance other characters like Yannic, which you can’t per developer response, knocked them down another star for that. I don’t understand why have a relationship meter if it doesn’t affect anything. Also regardless if your character is male or female, it’s 2021, you should be able to romance anyone in a game on the iOS store.

Hacking Sequences-Lack of Diversity

I downloaded this game after finishing The Healing. I figured there would be hacking sequences, however the ones on this game are way more difficult and virtually impossible to complete unless you spend money on bics. Also just a suggestion for the developers, it would be great if there was a more diverse set of characters. It’s would make the game much more realistic for people of color.

Update: I initially deleted the game due to being stuck on one of the hacking sequences. I tried to play Duskwood instead and let’s just say I’d rather just deal with The Sign lol the story is way more interesting.

The “hacking” ruined it

Good game.. The “hacking” games become so repetitive and SO annoying.. maybe if there were different types of mini games or not quite so many it would be better.. I haven’t been able to move forward bc I can’t beat the games so it’s kind of losing my interest at this point.. I paid to be able to watch all videos and choose any response but I’m not paying again for unlimited hearts. Other than the super annoying mini game part of it, it’s a great game.

Update: I ended up deleting it bc it was taking so long so get the hacking stars that I just lost interest in it altogether. I was so intrigued and it was absolutely a 5 star game until the mini games became more and more frequent.. that killed it for me.

Cool game but…

If you’re going to spam someone with ads or force someone to put money into a glitchy game that hasn’t had an update in 7 months, maybe make the puzzles a little shorter. I do enjoy the story but that aspect of the game makes playing the game barely worth it. Sometimes the ads for more lives won’t even pop up unless you mess with the button 5 or 6 times. The timer on lives also glitches and will reset to the full amount of time needed to wait before getting more lives. With how broken the game is, I can’t believe they’re trying to push people to spend money.

“Hacking”🤮👎🏻🤬

I like the game except for the “hacking” part. I don’t like the mini game that you have to play in order to advance in the game. You want me to buy premium for 8.99? Take out the hacking! I’m not spending that kind of money on a game I can’t play. The story is good so far and I’d love to play it over again to see all the different dialogue. Unfortunately I can’t even get though the game a first time! I can not get any farther in the game because I am stuck trying to “hack” (playing a dumb mini game that I don’t enjoy at all and is also quite difficult once you get so far in) in order to advance farther in the story. If not for that I would gladly pay that 8.99 for this game!

Awesome Game But I’m Having A Problem

I love this game a lot, and it’s super addictive and fun other than the fact I had to start over because I didn’t save my data…anyways, I’m stuck. Literally. It says there’s a conversation going on with Wolf, but when I click on it, he doesn’t say anything and neither can I but it still continues to show the green dot on that conversation. This is happening to me on every device I download it on, so it can’t just be my phone. Thanks for reading this and I hope you can do something to fix this problem.

Good game

These games are cool. I started by playing The Healing, and came to this in between episodes. The story is really good, and it’s funny how they made getting texts from your parents annoying. However, just like The Healing, the mini-games are cool time wasters, I just can’t stand watching all the ads. No matter how good you are at the mini-games, some require you to watch multiple annoying ads for 3 more moves, many times. I’d be interested in a paid ad-free version of future games by this dev, or some way around having to watch 3700 ads per chapter. Other than that, the games are great.

Great game but some questions unanswered.

The reason I’m giving it four stars is because the games leaves some questions answered such as 1. Do relationship levels affect the story? 2. Can you romance other characters like Yannic or Phil? 3. Am I wasting time watching ads when I try to improve relationships with those 5 stars? I also have some suggestions. It would be awesome if we could upload our own profile picture! A mixture of mini games would be fun. The mini games get repetitive after a while. PLEASE keep making these phone games! There aren’t much out there with a good story. I love how we have the male and female options. It makes the game more personable.

Great game

This is a great game, immersive. I really love these types of games and I love that this is horror vs crime themed. I’ve found that it’s easier to find a crime or a detective story in this style of game but I lovvvve that this one is horror. It’s done really well and has enough detail that you can use it without thinking too much about navigating the game. It has a pretty natural feel to it. I’m so glad to see they have other games, going to check those out next!

I don’t typically review apps, but this one blows my mind

Right before I played this game, I had played the healing. The story lines are very realistic, and it actually feels like you’re in the story. One cool feature if possible to add, would be… that it lets the player be able to text whomever they want at basically any given time, I realize this would be hard to develop, and possibly take longer. But it’d add even more realism to it, and so I moved on to TheSign after the Healing while I wait for Chapter 5 to release, and it’s got me hooked. I love your games, keep up the wonderful work team <3

Amazing game!

I never write reviews but this game was amazing. It was nice and long and kept me totally captivated. The only thing I would change is the hacking games. Sometimes they require a certain number of colored blocks (ie 20 green) but only give you like 10 of those throughout the game. So you end up losing a life due to no fault of your own. I’ve even used up my bics unlocking the other pieces in hopes that I could get the pieces I need.
Aside from that tiny annoyance, the game was phenomenal. The plot twists were INSANE and there were even some good jump scares in there. Highly recommend!

I just rate because I would get a extra life but...

I just had to press the bottom and come back to the game and I will still get the reward without doing thise but I felt bad. Anyways I played the healing before this game, and I love the healing I literally enjoyed so much and I love it. I feel in doubt for making such a pretty game which worth every second. Thank you si much. Keep working like that you guys will
Be the biggest. 🤖🤖Hans power

I love all you’re games

Hi luv you’re games but I just played the sign once again lol 🙃 but one question? Will there be a second part to it ? Cuz at the ending with my boyfriend Damian in the game was what it showed that it was not over ? Know is Gabriela’s turn I’m in suspense I really do hope so it will be wonderful to play a sequel just wondering is all thank u so much for wonderful games and hope u guys do come up with a second to this game cuz I luved it ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Need part two

Need part two to this game it was great as long as it can continue how from where you left off on your save like how the player ended the story and how the characters played out with this one let the player actually have the continuation from the last save on this game let it continue from there

Nice Story

I like the story. It’s keeping me into the game, but expecting you to pay $8.99 just to be able to get certain comments? Not sure about that. I’ll play a little longer and if it keeps up like this I’ll find another game. You should be able to play without having to pay. Unless you want to go further.

Not bad!

TheSign ain’t bad. If something happens I know it’ll be fake, when the call came in when I finished watching the video. My heart started to beat, I wish I could know what happens if I clicked the green button. But I clicked the red button. Anyways if you could make more, I would love to experience it, good luck and don’t let your selves down!

Cure your boredom

These creators of this game and all the other ones are seriously genius these games are so entertaining and keep you hooked from the min you start playing you def won’t regret downloading it only thing I want to know is how to become one of these amazing actors they have for there games

Great game

As others have said, this game can be very addictive. The best comparison is one of the choose your own adventure books but more geared for adults.
The hacking games can be pretty frustrating. There are times, I believe a lot of luck is involved. But, saying that the company has set it up so that you really don’t need to make any
in-game-purchases to get through it.
One of my few complains is the length of time chat histories are saved. I’ve wanted to go back and review conversations, but unfortunately they were no longer available. And even though Apple would never allow it, making it even more adult geared would be cool. I’m looking forward to the day when AI really allows games like this to become very customizable. Creative minds like these will do wonderful things.
