Missing notifications and impossible to contact

I am no longer receiving many of my notifications. There are more app crashes than usual when opening the notifications I actually do get which requires me to input individually. I might as well use an actual notebook. Also seems impossible to contact app support. App Store link takes you to Twitter. I would have just sent an email, but since that no longer seems possible or at least as simple as before, I will be unsubscribing and deleting VitaminLogScanSchedule quickly. It is no longer efficient, and if I am paying for an app, I need easy access to the developer. Unacceptable.

Nice Start but Loads of Work to be useful

Maybe I’m missing some features of how to fully use VitaminLogScanSchedule…
Daily/monthly reports of the vitamins and / or minerals you’ve taken for the day can be review in some type of reports.
It would be nice to include DV to see if someone is taking over the recommended doses.
Nice graphics & love the visual of suggested food sources for the vitamins & minerals.
And thank you for an app sans advertisement

Not bad

It would be great if you could add other holistic supplements and see a calendar view where a little check mark or something pops up if you took your vitamins that day. You also should add and create an extensive list of vitamins like omega-3s and whatnot as my multivitamin has that but I can’t add it to it. It would be cool to be able to take a picture of the supplement facts and it auto populate for you. The aesthetic of VitaminLogScanSchedule is nothing great either, pretty basic.

I do, however, like that it tells you information about the each vitamin (ie. common foods they’re found in, daily dosage, function, deficiency symptoms, overdose symptoms, and fun facts).

Definitely onto something with VitaminLogScanSchedule but just not quiet there yet.

Good app but needs more ingredients

This is a good app. It is easy to set up and use. What it does need is the ability to add supplements free hand. I take supplements for joint health and memory that have ingredients that are not on the list. I would like to be able to add them.

Nice and simple but…

VitaminLogScanSchedule is nice and simple. It isn’t trying g to rob my time like other apps. However, I get a total for my vitamins and supplements which is nice for those who know how much of each is required daily. I need that in a percentage for so I know if I’m reaching my body’s needed amount. If there is a way to switch to percentage and I haven’t found that yet please let me know where I can find it.
Also, is it would be nice to have Apple Health integration for those who are using other apps to track food intake.
Thanks for creating VitaminLogScanSchedule.

Reports to Health App

I only gave it 3 stars because it reports to the Health app on my phone. Smh… Wish it had a data base or option to create custom Vitamin Supplements and Probiotics. It’s disappointing the only way to track it is to add each vitamin separately. It’s a bummer and a time killer. Not sure if I’m going to use VitaminLogScanSchedule If it’s no quick way to capture supplement data quickly on a daily basis. A bar scanner would be nice. Perhaps they need to make a paid version or add apps to upgrade the features. VitaminLogScanSchedule has potential.

Great app needs more variety

Very good app, love that syncs with Apple Health App, but you should add more options, like protein, fish oils, fats, creatine too

Good way to track certain vitamins

VitaminLogScanSchedule works well but is limited. Vitamins are tracked by manually inserting each amount and an icon pops up to tell you if it was more or less than the last time. It has a list of Vitamins A, B 1-12, C, D, E, and K. I wish there was a separate thing for K1 and K2 as there are for all of the B vitamins. Especially since many people take k2 specifically for calcium absorption and K1 has different functions. Also I have some supplements that have more than the allotted amount for certain vitamins so I have to make multiple entries instead of one.

It’s great but there’s is one issue

VitaminLogScanSchedule is great for tracking but what I have experienced that makes it inaccurate is that when I add a pill saying I’ve taken it in VitaminLogScanSchedule it doesn’t pop up and then I’ll add it again and it won’t pop up so I gave up. Then when I go into it has updated to showing that I made 4 entries so I try deleting them and when I deleted all but one all of them ended up deleted.

Used to work well

Either an iOS 17 update or an app update now broke VitaminLogScanSchedule. It intermittently records taking of a supplement and seemingly randomly populates 80% of the vitamin and mineral to Apple health. If this bug is fixed it would be awesome. When it worked it was awesome! I have my centrum multivitamin set up and all the minerals and vitamins are accounted for in VitaminLogScanSchedule . The reminder to take was also helpful. Hopefully this can be fixed

Suggestion

I really like the idea of VitaminLogScanSchedule. I just wish I didn’t have to manually type in each one. If VitaminLogScanSchedule was connected to an app like cronometer then I could just track my food in the cronometer app and it would be automatically updated into VitaminLogScanSchedule. saving me a considerable amount of time I can see myself not using VitaminLogScanSchedule in the future, due to having to type in everything individually every day. Since I already have to track my food it would just make it that much easier. I hope you consider to work with a company like cronometer since I love being able to just scan the barcode of my food and go.

Exactly what I was looking for but…

Hi this looks like a great cheap app and I just needed to be able to see all the vitamins I have taken shown on a list from apple health data and this is great but one thing I may suggest that would make it a lot better is allowing people to set daily goals or recommended ones for some vitamins that would perfect it like under/over sodium or protein.

Great!

It is surprisingly hard to find an app that helps you FIND what foods are good for which vitamins. I love that! The one thing I would love to see added is an entry for fiber, for tracking that and having the list of high fiber food suggestions. Keep up the great work!

Simple app - Great Dev Team

I recently found the Vitamin app when doing research on simple and easy to use third-party apps that integrate with the Apple Health app. A lot of the apps I found in the past have been too overcomplicated, trying to do too many things at once. Vitamin is an extremely simple and streamlined app that I have found to be incredibly straightforward and easy to use. There are definitely a few more features and tweaks that could be made to really bring out the potential of VitaminLogScanSchedule, and typically when an app is in that stage of development, it is extremely hard to offer feedback or get in touch with the necessary teams to make recommendations. When I suggested including an apple shortcuts integration, I got a response within a couple hours, letting me know that I had a fantastic idea and that my suggestion would be forwarded to the appropriate team. So far, this feels like a development team that truly cares about the quality of VitaminLogScanSchedule that they’re building and wants to maintain full integrity with it. I will 100% be continuing to use VitaminLogScanSchedule and I’m looking forward to seeing how it continues to develop and grow. I would strongly suggest giving it a try.

I like the app.

I agree with previous review. I like VitaminLogScanSchedule otherwise. Just needs a few more minerals. Some I had to add on my apple health app. Not a big deal though.

Best vitamin and health app

It has so many vitamins listed and which foods have what vitamins and it has it on a graph so you can see how much of your daily value it is. It has the minimum amount of the vitamin you need and some of them have a maximum that you shouldn’t exceed it has benefits of all the vitamins and even what study’s showing correlating to the vitamin very great app

Great app

Hi I saw that it had a food wheel but after I enter my vitamin data from my multivitamin it disappeared is there a way to keep it to track your vitamin and mineral intake of food consumption. I was curious.

Has everything I need

VitaminLogScanSchedule is much easier to use than multiple other apps I have tried to track my vitamins. Simplicity is one of the major factors for my busy life. As medical doctor I can say this is one of the best on Apple Store. Ability to use my Apple Watch is another big plus.

I love this app!

It’s basic and easy to use. I’ve read some of the other reviews and yes, I would be nice to “scan” barcodes or type in numbers instead of using the (+/-) but those things don’t bother me at all since VitaminLogScanSchedule is free!

I would, however, like to see more vitamins/minerals/nutrients available to track such as betaine anhydrous, PABA (para-aminobenzoic acid), Inositol, Choline, CoQ10 (Ubiquinone), probiotics, Lutein, etc.

I know you guys are small and want to keep the integrity at the fore front (I appreciate that) so I know it’ll take time. Thank you for VitaminLogScanSchedule!

Just what I was looking for

Can’t wait to have this automatically track my supplementation into my Health app. Perfect.
