I was a paid user of the previous version and recommended it to friends. But I'm really disappointed that this new version is so much scummier. Gems and coin packs to purchase, disruptive ads in the middle of a round, and a monthly subscription that's way too expensive. A terrific game made horrible like all the other junk on TwoWordswithSusieDent store.
I’ve played one day, and I’m already sick of the animations that I have to wait on every move. And oops, now that I’ve killed a few rounds here come the flood of ads that I have to do watch in addition to the stupid animations of the tiles resetting on the board every move.

This is a really fun game. I am used to “free” games having ads, I’m fine with it, but this is an egregious amount. It disrupts the play constantly. I would pay 1.99 a month to play (maybe), but 4.99?? That’s insane. Probably going to delete.
I appreciate Susie Dent, and wanted to support her. TwoWordswithSusieDent has so many ads it is not worth it to persist.
I love Susie Dent and I love a challenging word game. I played a few rounds and was instantly hooked… and then the ads began. I’m ok with ads in free games. That’s how the game developers earn revenue. However, these ads interrupted the game too often, not just appearing at the end of a round but after every few turns. That’s just too much. I sadly deleted TwoWordswithSusieDent .
If you’re like me, you’re tired of Wordle, Wardle and Quordle. I really like this game by Susie Dent! Try it. It’s got elements of Scrabble, but without the obligation of a marathon game.
