This has been my favorite app used daily for a couple of years but the new version is awful. The font is huge and it does not remember what you set it to. The clean look is gone and it now looks like an old website that should have been updated long ago. It lists officiant/people on the left (formerly you knew one was bold and the other was not), leaving only enough room on the right for very short rows of text (so annoying!!!). Why did they have to destroy such a good thing? Previously it was so aesthetically pleasing it encouraged you to use it just by its beauty; now it is so awkward and bulky I can hardly stand to use it. Ugh!
Love TheDailyOffice!! Only small things, TheDailyOffice doesn’t turn my auto lock off when I want to meditate on the text and it should also notify when it’s time to pray. That would make it easier to remember. Other than those very small things, this is a great app!!
I’m deeply grateful for this free app. It makes the daily readings and prayers highly accessible.
Unfortunately it requires an internet connection to use. So when I’m on deployments, out to sea, or just taking off on a plane, I am unable to use TheDailyOffice . During these times it would be especially valuable, as carrying the physical book is not always an option.
The developers of TheDailyOffice have a done a fine job. My only big request is that they allow for the entire prayers to be read aloud. While not the specific intent, it would be exceedingly convenient for the prayers to play aloud while I drive to work in the morning or drive home at night.
I have been using this prayer resource online for months and am very happy to see an app that can also be used offline. This is a great way to pray through the daily office using the updated 2019 Book of Common Prayer. There are many customization options, so you can engage the prayer time in the way that works best for you.
I have also used this to lead worship times with my house church when we have to meet via Zoom (due to the coronavirus). It’s a great resource for that as well.

I've tried a number of Daily Office shots and this by far is the best. Easy to use and options allow you to adjust to your preferences. Woul like to see the Psalm in audio too.
This is a wonderful app and has facilitated my ability to do this daily. As a mom with little kids on my lap, it’s difficult to juggle a book or two. But with this, I’m able to continue my praying even with a squirmy baby.
Wonderful app to read the daily office. So many choices of settings from rotating to seasonal to fixed collects, to psalm cycle length, and all sorts of great options. A must have !
This is a great resource for anyone but especially one who uses the 2019 BCP daily. If you’re on vacation or in a pinch to do the office, here it is at your fingertips laid out perfectly without any flipping or navigating. Just scroll, pray, and learn. Beautiful app.

If you want to pray Morning and Evening Prayer straight from the 2019 Book of Common Prayer, then this is the best app I know of to make that happen! I don't always pray the Daily Office from my phone, it's still nice to hold a Prayer Book and a Bible, but when I do use my phone, I use TheDailyOffice!
As a member of a church that uses the common book of prayer, TheDailyOffice really helps our family out when we are on vacation and have to miss a church service. It also emphasizes worshiping God/Jesus any minute, any day. Have a blessed day y'all!
Thanks be to God for TheDailyOffice. I love praying out of my physical BCP, but this make it much easier when i don't have as much time in the mornings or when I'm on the go. The layout and features make it super accessible and fun to use.
So glad that this finally got developed! My only feedback would be that the size needs to get optimized - I am not sure why TheDailyOffice needs to be almost 1GB... especially when it feels like a skin/pass through for the website. If some content is local that’s fine, but I struggle to understand why TheDailyOffice needs to be so large. It is fine for me, I have plenty of storage, but I am sure this would be an accessibility barrier for many.
I have loved using this Daily Office app. It is customizable to my preferences in many respects, and is perfect throughout each day at work to use for midday prayer. There are other daily office apps available, but I haven’t seen any that compare to this one.
I have tried nearly every true Daily Office app available and this one is simply the best one. The options are clear but not overwhelming. The seasonal colors add a pleasant touch. It is just a nice clean app which allows for undistracted prayer. And further, the designer allowed months of input from beta users to help get it just right. Highly recommended.
Perfectly interactive and easy to understand, this takes readers fully through Morning and/or Evening prayer according to the 2019 BCP (ACNA). Customizable and easy to go through either on your own or with your family. A must-use for the Christian household!
I’m so appreciative of TheDailyOffice. It has come in handy many times when I’m away from my hard copy of the BCP. It’s so nice also to have the flow of the scriptures and canticles and prayers already laid out when I don’t have the energy to flip around in the BCP for the right ones for the day. Thank you!
TheDailyOffice brings the daily office to believers in a seamless interface. The ease at which TheDailyOffice makes it easy to pray daily is integral to my morning routine. The codex form of the daily office can be, at times, cumbersome to navigate, especially if you are not familiar with all of its various intricacies. Thank you for simplifying the daily office in this easy to use app! A great way to start the day and end your night.
If I don’t have my physical copy, this is the next best way to pray the daily office. It is so easy to go through, and it is a clean design as well. Very thankful for TheDailyOffice
