Braindom: Brain Games Test Out Reviews

I just started playing the game last night. It’s a fun brain game! I love the questions. They make you think outside the box and I like all the little tid bits of information! I’m on level 32, which means I’ve answers 32 questions. But the major downside so far!!!! I’ve answered 32 ?’s, but I’ve also had to watch 32 ads!!!! The amount of ads is ridiculous! I understand free games are goin to have ads! And that would be fine. I play a few games, all with ads. BUT this game has an ad literally after EVERY question!!! I usually watch the videos on games that offer points/coins for watching a video. Well this game offers so many brain points to watch a video or if you don’t want the points, there’s a NEXT button. I just wanted to get on to the next question and figured I’d skip the points a few times. So I just pushed the NEXT button to skip watching an ad. Or so I thought!! I’ll go ahead and tell you now, you may as well just hit the CLAIM button and get your brain points, cause you have to watch an ad before the next question regardless!! I got sooooo frustrated!! You answer the question pretty quickly, then you have to spend 30 seconds watching an ad before you can go to the next. AT LEAST change it to watching an ad after every 4-5 questions!! At this rate, I’m not sure how much longer I’m gonna play! Thinking about trying to find another similar brain game! If it wasn’t for the ads though, I would’ve rated 5 stars because I do enjoy the content!

Game is going to show you ads every level you complete. so some people download this game because it is fun. it is fun but the game also show you ads when you skip a level but the game does not do that. you can skip a level but that does not mean you’re earn your freedom from the ads because when you go to the next level and then complete that, an ad immediately pop up. also, this what the game do so is like 1 level completed, ad but this what the game saids “ if you don’t tap on that claim button, we are going to show you a ad because you tap on no thanks”. this game is fine I guess but the only problem is the ads on this game so if you download this game, you are going to see a lot of ads. the ad toon blast is going to keep popping up for a long time and is the main ad on the game. other ads like episode will do the same thing. kinda annoying ads 🙄that like to pop up but the ad may ether be waiting for you or just want to keep popping up. Anyway, this game is fun you should download it. if the deployer is reading this, the game at least try to put less ads and not more ads like the game has lost its mind. plz do it or I will get MAD so do it now!! People that are reading this should know why the game keep showing ads. so It do not matter were you live in the United States, plz stay strong America should too because of a virus in the world right now. Ok so this is an ok app. I would say that I wouldn’t suggest it to others BECAUSE when I got Braindom, I was immediately placed at like level 57 or something. I have never owned Braindom so I couldn’t have done that by myself. Also, when you finish a level, it automatically gives you an ad and then it asks for you to watch another add if you want a prize. What I’m saying is that there are a lot of ads and I’m not the biggest fan of that. Along with the topic of levels, I do not like how you have to click on the next level every single time! Most apps give you the next option but this one forces you to click on the next level (after the ad obviously 🙄) every time. Getting off the topic of ads, the levels are very easy. I am at level 70 (because it put me at 57 or something when I first got it) and it is still very easy. I wanted to start at the beginning so I got the basics down but there was no NEXT BUTTON!! It really does anger me when I can’t click next. It forces me to click on the next level every time I finish one! AND THEN AN AD POPS UP AFTER EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM!!!!
Other than those things, Braindom is ok but I wouldn’t say it’s the best app ever.

Too many ads, not enough gaming. It’s more like the game is the brief break from incessant advertisements for other games, which are on perpetual, boring loop. A sound suggestion may be to allow play for at least 75% of the time, and the more games downloaded, the less ads a player sees, especially for those games already downloaded. As it is, I imagine many may become disengaged from these games. I understand the purpose is to prompt players to spend cash. However, players aren’t given enough consecutive playtime without this bombardment of advertisements, to decide whether they even like the games they are playing. Thus, most folks are likely to uninstall games they may have enjoyed very much, while losing the vendor a lot of cash now and in the future from what may have been devoted players. Silly, isn’t it, considering it’s counterproductive to fun for players as well as blocking the possibility of loyal gamers with the cash to spend. Three stars for the designers who seemed to create a cool game, from what I can tell between the relentless commercials; too darn boring.

I don’t usually write that many reviews but I just had to for this app because it is so unique. So I am. I don’t usually rate the game until after weeks of playing because I usually end up deleting them as they get boring. I bought ‘no ads’ for this one after two days. So many games tell you to do them because it will help with your thinking and is challenging but they really aren’t.
Here’s one that is. This game makes you work for the answer in a clever enjoyable way and I for one don’t mind thinking. Of course it is not an app you’d want to do before bed because it is stimulating and I have trouble stopping. It is not relaxing per se but soooo fun and challenging.
So if you enjoy thinking outside the box, want to sharpen you thinking skills, learn deductive reasoning, follow and remember instructions etc, than I beg you to download Braindom. You won’t regret it. Best one out there.

I just started playing and I think this game is great. It's advertisements were honest unlike those "only 6% of people get this right" ads.

I have experienced some bugs so far though. I was on level 53 and I couldn't figure it out so I went to use a hint and had to watch an ad. However, no ad played after I clicked it. I wasn't rewarded or anything, it's as if I didn't click anything to begin with. I closed Braindom and rebooted it thinking this might solve it but was met with another bug. I clicked on the level to resume but after I hit play, it put me in the next level instead. I can't access it anymore.

Also, I feel like you should be able to earn "brain points" (idk what they're actually called) as you progress through the levels. Like 10 pre each level you complete as it's not enough to get a hint each round and it's still incentivizing the player to watch ads (I know yall need an income off this lol). It just feels like it's missing something when you use up the last of your points and you don't earn any back without watching ads.

Other than that, the games great! I love the different art styles and types of puzzles. They're just the right amount of challenging.

(Maybe using the first few levels to introduce the player to the different mechanics? IE, shake your phone, move things to reveal others, use the text to answer a riddle? Dunno just a suggestion)

I see people complaining that this game is too easy, but I am confident that there are levels that will stump you. I appreciate the easier levels as they help relieve brain stress. I’ve been using this game to relax and I would imagine if each question was very difficult there would be less opportunity to progress and learn the historical facts.

I also think that having easier levels makes this a challenging game for kids, and I value versatility. To me this game is relaxing.

I also see people having issues with ads, I understand that however as most of us know it is how most of these apps are funded, and besides that maybe it could be seen as a test of patience ;) if they bothered me personally I would rate this 4 stars, but they don’t so I gave it 5.

Very unique game and very relaxing for me. I have had no trouble with glitches besides one white screen that didn’t load, but when I closed and restarted Braindom it worked so easy fix in my case.

Comments given after levels are very interesting, and creative personality that makes you think even further into the purpose of the statements. They’re funny and intriguing.

I understand being upset with a game but seriously, furious? Just move on.

If you saw the title, yes it did help me with my history test but wait till the end. This is an AMAZING🤩game. It is super fun and a little tricky. Scratch that. REALLY TRICKY! It is pretty hard but sometimes I ask my mom for help cause she is really good at riddles. I would’ve given Braindom 5 stars, but there is something wrong....(But it is still a great game!) Once an add showed up so I was like “Eh, it’s just an add” so I waited till the end. BUT when it was over, THERE WASN’T AN X! (Dun,Dun,Dun!!!) so I had to start over from the beginning and forgot how to answer the riddle (I have bad memory) and maybe tone down on the adds for a bit. And it helped me with my history test. I didn’t even KNOW that the test was due. Then I downloaded Braindom, and it helped a lot. (I got an A!!!) and by the way this was last year before I wrote this review. Hopefully the developers read this!

I wasn’t planning on giving this low a rating, but there’s a “trivia” question that asks what rating you would give and if you click anything other than 5, it’s “wrong” and you can’t go to the next question. I didn’t “answer” the question and deleted it right after that. You shouldn’t manipulate people into giving the best review. You should have faith in your app and let it speak for itself.

Also the reason I wasn’t going to give a full five stars in the beginning is because some of the questions didn’t make sense. For instance there’s a question “which belt is the highest level?” From bottom to top it’s like green, black, white, yellow. And I had a feeling it was going to be yellow because it was at the top/the “highest” but I chose black because the question didn’t ask which belt was ON the highest level, it asked which belt IS the highest level. So according to the grammar of the question it had to be which belt stands for the highest level instead of which is located on the highest level.

It’s and ok game 5 star. But u need to CHILL WITH ALL THE ADDS. I get why u have them and stuff but I cannot just enjoy the game WITHOUT a add popping up It NEEDS TO STOP 🛑. And I’m afraid there are better HARDER games just like this out there with NUN OR LESS adds than this game I’m not saying the game isn’t really really good but I can’t enjoy it and just PLAY IT without adds and if it doesn’t STOP I’m deleting cause it’s wasting space on my phone that Better apps like this with less adds can be filling. And if you’d even ganna have adds like that have u ever thot about making them shorter I’m not saying the game is bad but I’m not saying if that great ether

It’s a good concept. I like brain teasers. However, it just makes no sense. Their is a hint button but no help button no like game play instructions. I seriously try to click everything on the screen nothing happens. One level said check the notebook first for the hint and their is no way to click the notebook. And that was the third level i couldn’t figure out and I’m like less than level 6. The other one was like who has a dog hint find the leash.. you can’t click anything on the screen. I don’t get it. Plus the ads are excessive. One at the beginning and end of every game and on the page. But that’s not just it it tricks u cause it says like watch the add to get the gift then doesn’t give u the gift and if you try to just click next skip the gift and add you still have to watch the add. Also it’s the same add repeatedly and u can’t skip it at all. Like I get developers gotta make money and normally if I liked a game I would buy it to get rid of them but I can’t even like this one because I don’t get it.

Level 39 (which one is lying) had 2 WOMEN denying that a baby is there. This almost never happens because women know what baby came out of them but this isn’t even the real issue. The issue is mainly that the reason it belonged to woman #1 is because the necklace and hair tie are the made from the “same material”. This is literally never the case realistically and even then, they didn’t even really look the same. I chose woman #2 at first because her and the baby literally had the same hair color and woman #1 hair color was obviously not the same as the baby’s. But no according to this game, the baby and mom always have matching accessories and not genetics. This game is fun and some levels are actually really awesome but some levels like this just make me mad especially when the guy says “try not to guess next time”. I hate his attitude always thinking he’s slick. WELL GUESS WHAT AI BOT YOU ARE NOT SLICK!

I wanted to like Braindom and in fact it started out well but it didn’t take me long to tire of the ads (very long ones) between each level. I decided it was probably worth the $3.99 to remove them so that I could just keep playing straight thru - so I paid and went back to playing the game and to my surprise, the annoying ads were still present. Not knowing what to do - I decided to go back to the remove the ads page and tried again, thinking I would get the message that I had already purchased that feature, would I like to restore it at no charge.... But guess what, it charged me again another $3.99. I guess this says a lot for the state of my brain, but I am smart enough to complain to Apple if I don’t get a refund for both purchases. Very disappointed. I give you a 1 star because you’ve been at least decent enough to respond to your reviews so I’m looking forward to your resolving my issue. Thank you.

You should be grateful your even getting one star. This game is absolutely horrible and bad, when I try to watch a ad to get a free hint the button just doesn’t work and it’s super laggy I have had to leave Braindom and reopen it at least 20 times and I’m only on level 40. Also, either the levels are WAY to hard or WAY to easy, I am TOTALLY, DEFINITELY deleting Braindom. If you are reading this, I am warning you NEVER GET Braindom EVER. BYE, I am not trying to be mean to the people who created it cause’ it’s probably not their fault. Please if you are a developer to this game please TRY to fix these things, and if your lucky and ONLY if you are lucky I MIGHT keep Braindom or if I have already deleted it I might re-get Braindom . Please just don’t think I’m trying to be like... super rude or mean or anything else but I’m just giving tips. The levels seem to be easy enough to pass the time. I finished the game within 2 days. The constant need to watch ads to “spin the wheel” or to view a hint are annoying. Why if I am spinning a wheel to gain a prize do I have to watch an ad?

Also when one passes a certain amount of levels they earn percentages to a prize yet have to watch an ad to receive said prize. It’s stupid. The brain points that one can earn have proven to be useless. The characters that the player seems to collect are nowhere to be seen other than as pieces of the “board game”. If one could change your board piece to one of the collected characters that would be nice. Also limit the amount of ads needed to progress in the game. Another suggestion would be to have the hints give a hint and not the answer to each puzzle.

The game received 1 star due to the facts about the legendary people in time that players encounter and for the entertainment and easiness of the puzzles.

Update: Reduced to one star after seeing some creepy in game comments. One comment was “you deserve a present from me. Can I get you number to send you your present ;)” Uuumm say what now? Major creeper vibes.

The game was good for some brainless time passing, but that’s about it. I actually paid for no ads because after every level it kept saying “the questions are gonna get harder” or “I know, that was too easy” so I thought why not support an app developer if I plan on playing it a lot. Big mistake. The levels NEVER get harder. In some instances, they’re insanely easy. Identifying shadows? Pre-schoolers can do that. Match objects? Again, preschool. One star for cute graphics and interesting facts. One star for successfully killing time. Minus two for tricking me into spending money (one for each dollar...I’d pay maybe 99 cents at best) and minus one for advertising as brain teasers while only requiring an IQ of 10 to succeed.

If you like ads, this is the game for you! 75% of the play time is filled with them. who doesn’t like ads, right? highly recommended.

ok, so i am really happy for the people who like this game. it was just less joyful for me because of all the ads. i get that the developers are humans and need a way to get money but after every short game an advertisement, that’s kind of messed up. i recommend just putting an ad once in a while or keeping the ads in places where you’re getting something special out of it like a double prize or something. just to exercise my brain, i don’t personally think i should have to watch a thirty second ad all the way through to play one round. i am not trying to offend or demote the developers here, i am just making a few suggestions to hopefully make your gameplay better and your players happier. thanks!

I’m not sure if this is because I have an iPhone 6, but the game sometimes lags. And I’m trapped at level 238 remove the blur. I even looked up the solution, but even though I was correct, the bar lagged and the solution was never “correct.” This stinks because I was enjoying the game, but now I cannot progress. And the worst part is I can’t even contact support anywhere. Braindom Store sends you to one site where if you click “about us” it’s a different company, and “contact us” states “

Which is pretty useless. So where do you actually go to report bugs?!

The concept is good. We need more puzzle apps that don’t force you to play umpteen versions of bejeweled to get to a puzzle. However, this one is poorly executed.

For example one puzzle shows three birds and says ‘find the goose that lays the golden eggs’. That’s it, no more, no less. You try touching the bird you think it is, to choose/pick it, you try circling it, etc etc. the answer turned out to be ‘use two fingers to pinch the bird to make them lay eggs’. It would have been better to ask, ‘how do you make the bird lay a golden egg?’ Or ‘Find our HOW to make the goose lay...’ There are several much more confusing than that and then some are simply straightforward. Also the touch screen stuff doesn’t work properly so after 6-7 times touching the same answer, finally it will respond.

Braindom definitely needs a lot of work.

After a certain level (264 and beyond for me) nothing works. Even the hints don’t make sense.

When I used credits to see hints… I got “hint83” which I know is a placeholder, so no actual hint was available, even though the credits were taken away. This happened again later with “hint92”. Very disappointing. I think you should SHOW the answer if we can’t get it and want to skip past it. There was a puzzle that read “Boys should go to Class A, girls should go to class B” the real answer/solution was the opposite. Seriously! Get it straight. You need to make some updates and fix the laziness. Fire someone.
Other than that, I liked the game until I got to the higher levels, that’s where the issues were. I’m don’t with it- I just paid $ to cut out the ads, and now I get to the glitches and mistakes. Just sad.
