SmashFrameData is simple and easy to use. It has a clear gif and frame by frame for every move in ultimate, as well as the starting frame, hitboxes, and safety on shield. However, I’ve experienced two issues with SmashFrameData . The first being, I am unable to see the last hits of moves with many hitboxes on shields, such as MK’s side b (it lists numbers for some hits and trails off into ...). If there was a way for me to see it, then I haven’t been able to find it. My second issue involves the bookmarks. For some reason, the bookmarks seem to be saving captain falcon, dark samus, and doctor mario there, and it keeps coming back after I remove them multiple times.
I’d like to mention that those issues aren’t deal breaking, and I can probably live without them ever being fixed. Even if those issues aren’t fixed immediately, I still recommend SmashFrameData to whoever needs it.

I have been looking at SmashFrameData for a while now and I must say this is great. I haven't seen everything yet as I type this but I can say this is really good. There are small things such as no frame data for Luigi's down taunt, but aside from that, Everything is A-Okay! Keep up the good work!

Only thing the website has over SmashFrameData is the stats. This does not have general character stats if that’s what you are looking for.

For those who stumbled upon this looking for guides or whatnot. Frame data is the metadata about attacks in a fighting game. How long an attack takes to start up, how long the attack takes to finish, etc. if you want to start improving at smash looking at frame data is essential
I’ve been using Ultimate frame data for a long time at this point. The browser version worked fine enough, but took a few seconds to load and could occasionally be a bit slow. SmashFrameData fixed every problem the web version had, and it’s a seamless to iOS. No longer will I have to have ultimate frame data bookmarked for quick access because there’s an app now!
If you’ve used Ultimate Frame Data before, SmashFrameData is exactly the same thing but smoother and better. If you’re looking for a frame data tool for smash bros. This is the be-all-end-all. Can’t recommend enough

I’m half to finally see something like this brought to SmashFrameData Store, this will be invaluable for tournament goers and nerds alike. Thanks for all the work you put in!

App is great! Bayo U-tilt frame by frame isn’t working for me, but other than that. Solid stuff

I used the website all of the time, having an app for it is great.

SmashFrameData is amazing overall, but sometimes going to the Misc. section on some characters will crash SmashFrameData . I also think that because there are so many ground moves, that the “ground attacks” section in the “jump to” feature should be divided into “normals” and “smash attacks” or something along those lines

Very useful app. Now I don’t have to go on the website anymore!

Would like to note, though, there is a typo on Pyra’s side special. Exerperiences

Can you fix Pokémon trainer’s Pokémon though? It won’t allow scrolling to the latter portion. Crashes SmashFrameData for those 3 specifically.

This is a necessary app to have if your competitive in any way.

Lays everything out simply and neatly, and is everything it says it is. Not much more to say

There’s this one problem I’m facing with SmashFrameData : crashes. And this only happens when I try to go to the misc section of the Pokémon trainer (my main lol) characters and no one else.

This is a great resource to learn more about smash and get better at the game. The more you know about your opponent, the better you will be at countering or predicting their moves.

If I need to know a small fact I can just open SmashFrameData up and look it up on my phone very quickly.

Super informational and a smooth transition from the desktop version!
Overall a really well made app!

The up tilt animation in terry’s frame data shows the spot dodge attack and not the up tilt (the difference is that up tilt is only invincible on the arm and not the entire upper body) this is kinda important
Also super useful that I don’t have to go on the website anymore and I can just wip this out easy as hell. THANKS DAWG

Today began like any other day, with me taking my daily walk to the National Trash Heap to see if I couldn’t find a contraption for storing birds that I could get my father for Father’s Day. Suddenly I was accosted by a stranger dressed a frog onesie from head to toe who challenged me to a game of Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. I told him I was busy, but he insisted. Finally I relented and he told me the stakes: if I win, I could get the finest bird keeper this side of the Rio Grande, but if I lose, I forfeit my firstborn child. Not one to back down from a challenge, I agreed, and he set the stage to no items, 3 stock, Final Destination. I chose (as you might know), Wario, because of his resemblance to the eponymous character of Peter Paul Ruben’s Bacchus. After pausing, he went with Link and our match was on. It was a grueling slug fest, a real barn burner as the momentum swung back and forth like a pendulum above the pit which housed our clash. We were both on our final lives, but after one misstep I was on the back foot, 125% to his 70%. I called a timeout, which he honored, and quickly checked my Smash Frame Data app to see if I could get a leg up. Using the innovative UI, I easily found out that Wario can transition into his Jab 2 as early as Frame 10 of his Jab 1. Mashallah! As soon as I got back, I sent off a hail of jabs and successfully won. Both my Bird Contraption and the fate of my child were saved, all thanks to Smash Frame Data. And I know, you must be asking, who was this mysterious stranger that simultaneously jeopardized and enriched me? Why none other than Claus Wilhelm Von Birdtrap himself, the finest maker of bird related devices in the world. Thanks again Smash Frame Data!
