We purchased their product so that we could test it with all the functionality. We had been working with their text support trying to get it to do what we needed. Once we determined that it wasn’t going to work for us we were told that we could not get a refund because we had used it for 13 days. We paid for a whole year, if you want to work with a company that would do this to a customer your making a big mistake. They should be ashamed I would avoid Rentastic like the plague!!!!!!!!!!
Rentastic and software constantly fails. Bank accounts will get randomly unlinked and many times it will miss information and other times you will get duplicates. Rentastic will stop working and you’ll have to delete and reinstall it for it to work again. Needs a lot of work to be worth paying for it. Not reliable.
Do you have to upgrade to premium if you have more than two properties. Which is not the problem, the problem is the mobile app. Good luck uploading any receipts without Rentastic freezing on you. You then have to delete and reinstall Rentastic …Which is also not that big of an issue. But then he will just continue to do it the next time.
The concept of Rentastic is good, it’s easy to enter and categorize.
The problem comes about now when I have a whole bunch of information entered and Rentastic has stopped functioning.
All that time spent entering information I now have to replicate in a different app or spreadsheet.
Your call if you give it a try, but I’m super frustrated.
If you have more than one property and bank account, do not use this software. It routinely duplicates account and expenses and will eat up your time and patience. The features are very limited. Simply not suitable for anyone that takes their portfolio seriously.
Very user friendly. Great UI. Smooth, no lags or glitches. Much better than Stessa or other book keeping apps. Cant recommend enough & the team is very responsive to updates and changes.
Great app! Just started using it for my first property! Also issue I have is when I select the term length for the years, it only lets me choose between 5,10,15, and 20 years. I have a 7 year loan so that is my only concern! Other than that, amazing app!!
Great way to focus everything in one app. Surprised there is not a ton of reviews! Hopefully Rentastic developer continues with this!
If there were anything that would be great to add is possibly rent estimates for short term rentals.
My husband and I LOVE this expense tracker. As we have grown our business tax time becomes more and more of a nightmare but not with this app! Totally worth the money to save us sooo much time at the end of the year.
