I’ve been a big fan of QueenCityNews , checking news throughout the day, but since Fox46 changed the way the ads display, the ads prevent you from scrolling, require scrolling a few times and make it very difficult to not only read the news, but to get to the end of the story. I’ve been so frustrated that I just simply close QueenCityNews and look on other local news apps. You cannot get to the end of a story without scrolling and rescrolling, which sometimes causes you to click the ad. I understand ads bring revenue, but at least make them user friendly. I will try to look at the Fox 46 news a couple of times over the next week and if it’s the same, then I will delete QueenCityNews and get my news elsewhere. My phone is an iPhone 11 Pro Max and it’s only a year old and updated. This situation makes me sad in addition to being annoyed.

Unable to watch live streaming. Total disaster since the new, WORTHLESS app! 🤬of Hood Day Charlotte from the new app. Huge disappointment. Wish I hadn’t deleted the old app. 😖

This local news station is biased, divisive, not trust worthy. Instead of reporting factual news they spin stories to fit their narrative, most articles posted are opinion based not based on actual facts. The only unbiased local news source in my opinion is spectrum news. Fox 46 is trash.

Why did they change the news from Fox to Queen city news? Is it because the name fox? Won’t be watching it anymore!

Videos on every article is annoying.

I don’t appreciate watching the morning news and having your anchor state “give money to the NAACP to help people wrongly arrested”. Her face (Ms. Mack) shows she condones this activity. Are you kidding me. Give me the news not your opinion. Wrongly arrested. Does she watch her own news that she’s reporting?

You, the news media, is condoning this activity with your constant negativity about law enforcement. Who do you call for help? Really! If I were these men and women walking the blue line . . . I would say I’m done! Fight this fight yourself.

We are not stupid. We all know these riots are the results of “large money” paid to folks to protest. A repeat of 2016 election.

Mr. Floyd’s death is a tragedy. I’m upset with the action of this police officer. But now it’s a situation of “free stuff” for all involved not honoring this person memory.

Need to fix this site. Clumsy and inefficient. Sorry just my opinion.

If I were writing this review solely on the live stream service provided within QueenCityNews , I would have given it a one star. But because QueenCityNews also offers headlines and other videos I gave it a 3 star.
The old app worked much better for live streaming. Not only could I not watch the live stream for over a month, but now it freezes up constantly making it impossible to watch.
I don’t want to watch any other competitors because I like Fox46 the most, but if this can’t be resolved I guess that I will have to. 😞

I love that this is truly a free news app. The competitor wants me to pay and I’m not. Thanks!

I been trying to contact them from twitter and they said they are working on the problem but it still did not get fixed!?! Been trying to watch the Good Day Charlotte and the live stream is not working at all, Fox 46 please fix it! 😭😩😩😭😭
