My community started using Atlas1 for alerts. It’s a great app except for it drains the battery on my iPhone super quickly. Deleted Atlas1 . Would re-download if the problem is fixed.

Locked out and reset not working.

I had no choice to switch to Atlas1 when my city changed what they were using. I got it set up and working but now it logged me out and no matter how many times I reset the password or retype, the password NEVER matches the double entry requirement. It’s beyond frustrating because I’m trying to find an urgent request that just came through

I got logged out of my account when I did a phone update 4 months ago. I have made multiple attempts to get assistance from support to help me reset my password ever since then, and have yet to get a response. The link to change my password will not work. Support is completely unresponsive.

Not nearly as good as Nixle and uses the battery like crazy. Not a fan and got rid of Atlas1 on all our devices.

Our local police dept started using but with having to enable location services eats the battery. No wonder it is cheaper than previous service

No one has responded to my multiple support requests

i was going to give it a try but when i insert my password to create account it says it has to be 8 characters long when my password is like 20 characters long

Still uses too much battery in the background. Why does it need to put hooks into my on screen time display? I can start it like any other app, I don’t need a special place to tap, e.g., the time display.

After typing in my password it won’t let me sign in. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling, but never lets me in. I have deleted Atlas1.

Poor instructions will not work on 2 different iPhones and no way to get help

Our community just switched to using Atlas1 for community notifications. App has high battery drain on iPhone and I am not receiving any audio alerts despite Sounds being turned on in Settings. Disappointed in Atlas1 .

Is a good app in the foreground. Is sucking the life out of my battery in the background. Always at the top of battery use list. Always background use is most of the use.

Read their privacy policy. That’s all it took for me to uninstall Atlas1. Using police cover to scrape up personal data is not a way to build trust with law enforcement.

Atlas1 is okay, but would be better if there was a way to delete all notifications at once. I like being able to see where events are taking place using the map provided. The biggest issue has occurred when Atlas1 didn’t auto update and I wasn’t receiving any notifications. So far that hasn’t for a while now. Still, overall a good app that could be perfected.

Given everything that’s going on these days I constantly found myself asking “how am I supposed to know what’s going on around me”. Right now we rely on the news or social media to tell us what’s going on and even if it’s safe to go out. But that isn’t localized to what’s going on around or what is going on at places I care about, like my child’s school, my office, or my parents home! I cannot wait until this is in every city and I can have peace of mind and information from local authorities (not a middle man) in my hands!!

About time, it’s 2020!!

Atlas1 is free and connected to the public safety systems. Totally worth having added in the phone.

Have been using Nixle and Citizen, but Atlas1 is super clean and easier to navigate. Not sure what other reviewers are saying about delays with verification codes. Got mine immediately.

We received notification from our local police department that their will transition from the current provider to this platform...only one big problem standing in the way of enrolling before this occurs; it will not send out a code to start the enrollment process.

Very disappointing...

My city just announced moving from Nixle to Atlas1. Unfortunately, I can’t use it because the delay in receiving a confirmation code is incredibly long. With only two reviews, I’m guessing this is a brand new app and the developers weren’t prepared. Any app I’ve ever used has sent confirmation code almost immediately. When I didn’t receive a code after 5 minutes, I tapped “Didn’t receive code. Resend” Yah... don’t do that. By the time I finally got a code, I had gone through the process about a dozen times. Now the codes are being sent about every 6-8 minutes so I’ll probably have to wait until tomorrow to start over again.

Bottom line to new user’s: WAIT at least 30 minutes to receive a confirmation code!

To the developers: if you’d app isn’t ready for an onslaught of new users or your system can’t process and send confirmation codes within 1-2 minutes, either fix the system or simply inform users on the signup page that codes will be delayed.

Tried for 2 days to sign up, received and entered code but response came back with (error). Not sure about reliability with Atlas One at this point. Plus the message back from Atlas One about a problem is the same for all other issues☹️

I did not receive an "Alert" on my Android phone when gunshots rang out in my neighborhood at 10:15 pm on 2/12/23 , while I was on my way home from work. (Instead?) I received a call from my neighbor, telling me to stay away. He called me when it was safe to come home. He also stated, that Police Officers never showed up. The next morning? He and I were looking at the bullet holes on the outside of our homes. The Police do not come to our neighborhood after dark. This app is useless. It's just another way to monitor our everyday locations in life. I deleted it.
