Sumikkogurashi Farm farm game Reviews

Technically the winning aspect is expansion, unlocking more outfits, leveling up etc. the expansion items take a VERY long time to get and they take up space in your inventory.. so despite the bigger it is, the more items you will need to expand further (hammers) thus taking up more space.

It’s always a hassle. Still a cute game but a major grind. I couldn’t even complete some “events” because I didn’t pay real money for the bonus items. Fun game but exploitative if you like Sumikko and cute games. Definitely hard to play without paying money but not impossible.. you’ll just have to watch a lot of ads to try and get free jewels.. ads are long btw…. Fun game, just extremely greedy and exploitative, and a major grind…

Things take too long to build and the pacing is too slow. Orders don’t pay enough for the amount of waiting you need to do in order to get items. Milk takes 15 minutes to make, bread takes 5 and other things take up to an hour to do. I get that’s a trick you’re trying to use so people will spend gems to speed things up and eventually buy some but I’m not being tricked or bullied into doing that. The games graphics are cute which is it’s only saving Grace. But that’s not enough for me to keep this game especially with the underlying greed behind it. There are much better farming games out there that don’t take this long to do things in nor drain battery power in a small time. (I have an iPhone 11 before a developer asks so it’s the apps fault not my phones) nice try you’re not getting my money.

I love this cute little game and played for a good whole. Very easy casual game. I got a little bored later because there wasn’t much variety. Mini games would help. Also the ads that you get for more jewels etc got more inappropriate (at least for me and I don’t want my kids seeing them when they play on my phone) and then one stayed ON the main playing screen and I wasn’t able to exit out except by pressing the “get” button. I ended up closing the game app and for back in. These ads shouldn’t be appearing in a game marketed for the general population, especially for ages 4+.

I just started playing this game a few days ago and it is an idle game in every sense of the word, where you’ll have to wait 2-60 minutes to get your farm products. That said, it’s a cute one. I don’t mind logging in after a few hours to gather my crops, but some of the waiting times for just one product is sort of crazy.

My main beef is the gold system. You get so little compared to how much everything costs. Expanding the farm, farm upgrades (like new buildings), and the decorations cost a crazy amount of gold compared to what you get for your farm products or fulfilling orders. The game discourages you from making your farm cute with decorations (which is the best part!) and makes you prioritize the upgrades. It should not take me days to build up enough gold to purchase a kitchen (6000 coins) at the very beginning of the game. I could see that being late-game maybe, but not when you just start. I haven’t spent anything on decorations to save up, and I still don’t have enough.

All in all, this game feels like a moneygrab when compared to the other summiko games. I suggest SumiSumi and Summiko Gurashi Our Puzzling Ways far more.

So Sumikko farm gives optional ads if you want a little extra something, which is totally fine. But since August there’s been an issue with the system not giving you the item after you watch the ad, stating it looks like you didn’t finish. It’s frustrating because the ads that fail to do this are the long ones, not the 15 second ones. Chase Bank ads are def the worst. I’ll update this rating if they fix it but I’m doubtful since it’s just another way to force us into watching ads.

like worse than tom nook. there is no redemption in the expansion and lack of speeding up tools to further your progress. it is an extremely slow game unless you want to pay human money. I never write reviews but I don’t play a lot of games on the iPhone/iPad. this is so cute and I just hate playing it knowing I’m going nowhere in life.

I’d like to see the expansion price not steepen so fast, or to be able to expand larger areas. I’d also like to be able to collect more recipes at a time? I feel like I get one per level and they’re misleading? I want more reward from a farming game that does take a lot of time for the items you need the most. god milk is so annoying to get. literally grosser than in real life.

I love this game, it’s very cute, unique, simple, yet fun to play. The only issue I have is that a lot of the things in the game, such as expanding territory, shop items, and others are very expensive even at low levels. I find I do not make enough coins to get things even when I am past the level it got unlocked at. It would be nice if there were more ways to earn coins or that the coin prices for things dropped a bit, but other than that like I said, really cute game.

It was a good game, however, you will waste ALL your time on this game. And NOT in a worthwhile way. If you tend to get obsessed with your games I repeat I REPEAT DO NOT GET THIS GAME. If you are in high school, do NOT download it. If you are in college, DO NOT download it. I spent almost entire days just watching ads, swiping my fingers to plant and collect farm products, and playing tedious puzzle games in order to have more “in game currency” it was not worthwhile in any way. If you trust that you can limit your time on this game then by all means download it. It is cute and has good graphics.

I love your other farming game and this one is even better since it’s in landscape mode. There are a few annoying things though. If you have the music set to 1 (turned off) it comes back after you level up so you have to turn it on and back off again. Another issue is that sometimes you get stuck and can only zoom in or out and you can’t tap anything. And while it isn’t a bug the tap sound effect has way too much of an echo.

I love this game and I’ve been playing it for about a week now. My only complaint is the lack of decoration. While there is a little bit I feel like there could be more. Some things that I personally would love to see in game would be more flowers, benches/chairs, garden archways, grass patches, different types of paths, statues, hanging lights, etc. More animals would be cool to see in game as well. Sheep would be a cool thing to add. You could shear them and make clothing to sell. Idk I just feel the game is missing something but overall it’s a lovely game and I hope more updates come in the future.

This game is amazing. But the one thing i have a problem with is recipes taking so long to acquire. For example, if you want to simply have the ability to pay to craft a “blue flower patch”, you will need 100 individual recipes from treasure chests or the daily store. This can take weeks to accomplish, for something you still have to pay to craft. The amount of time and recipes it takes to acquire craftable items makes it much less motivating to complete.

Another thing with recipes:
Yesterday i spent 150 gems on the recipe draw (roughly $1.50 if you pay for gems) and i did not realize it would only give you one recipe. I thought that for $1.50 of gems you would at least get a handful, and a full item, since you can outright purchase very cute limited edition items for 150 gems. So now i have one “ultra rare” recipe, but it will take me four more recipe cards to actually be able to craft the item. This does not make sense and is a very bad deal.

Otherwise, this game is super cute and i would recommend it to anyone. But if you are a new player wanting freedom to customize your farm, expect to pay money or put in a ton of effort.

i discovered SumikkogurashiFarmfarmgame via a youtuber (Vixella, i absolutely love her & have been watching her videos for almost 7 years now:)) & downloaded it because it looked so adorable & fun. SumikkogurashiFarmfarmgame does not drain my battery like it does for other people, which i am super happy about. super fun to play when i’m bored or going on long car rides/ road trips which i happen to do quite frequently. i definitely recommend this game to anybody that is fond of games that please the eye & make the time fly by. happy farming<3

I’m a huge Sumikko fan so I had to try this game out when I found it. Building your farm and cottage is lots of fun and there are tons of customization options. As expected, there are in game currencies that require real money (jewels), but the game gives you many ways to get them for free. I can’t say that about many other mobile apps. All in all, I highly recommend SumikkogurashiFarmfarmgame, especially if you are a Sumikko fan or love cute things.

hello! i need to say, this is an amazing game! i love how cute it is! you probably looked up “cute games” to find this, and it lives up to its name!! i 100% recommend it! don’t give a second thought! get it, now!!! (you won’t regret it.🥰) the ONLY thing, and don’t even pay attention to this because it’s totally fine i just want the creator to know… i cant seem to change their outfits… can someone explain this?! but that doesn’t matter because this is an amazing game anyways!! get it now!

This is such a great game! It’s super fun and cute and I love that I can play it with my friends. I do have one suggestion, maybe you could make a button where you can donate something to someone. I know that there is a present button, but that just gives the person a random gift and it would be nice to be able to give you’re friends coins, diamonds, furniture etc. thanks for reading my useless suggestion.

this game is so cute and u immediately get obsessed with Shirokuma, Tokage, Tonkatsu, Neko, Penguin?, and the Minniko too. One thing i would love to have in the game is options to dress up the Minniko. they would be so cute with little bows or hats or something like that. Just a recommendation! anyway, there’s not inappropriate elements in the game at all and you have a lot of fun farming and customizing ur characters. there are ads, but only if u click on them. 100% would recommend to ANY AGES. do download it, for your happiness 😊

Don’t listen to those people whining like little kids about Sumikko Farm being P2W and time consuming. It is NOT P2W, you can use the gems you get from leveling up to skip waits. So what if it is time consuming? It is a farming game so of course it is. I love Sumikko Farm and would definitely recommend playing it. The music is very relaxing and happy, and the little Sumikkogurashi characters are so cute and chubby. For those who don’t know how to put outfits on, you tap the Outfits icon, then the character you want to wear the outfit. You select the outfit, then uncheck the default look.. and boom! TRY THIS GAME YOU WILL LOVE IT, AND DON’T LISTEN TO THOSE BABIES WHINING ABOUT IT! They just want something to whine about

Like the waiting time for products, the train, crops, etc is just right. Not too long but also not too little. Enough for me to go do school work etc and come back later.

I hope they continue to build and create more shops etc.
I do have to say that leveling up takes a while but I mean.. whatever.

Also more mini games would be great and maybe more available interactions for the characters with the items you buy but that’s just me. I love the events they have and the extra stuff. Love it. Hope y’all continue to develop this game and maybe more!!

Somebody said it was “aesthetic” but I think its just cute in general. Its the best and even though it takes long to make it huge and big, you just have to keep up with updates and play the minigame more often that you should! Keep all of your crops and products coming and don’t stop thats how I got up quickly. If you like sumikko gurashi than this is the game for u!

People say things like they want you to use a lot of gems to pass the time so then you buy more with money but I have not spend a cent on this game and it is SOO cute and I love it it’s addictive and it’s really fun and people say it takes a long time for wheat to grow but it grows really fast like in about over a minute maybe two minutes and I like making my little farm look cute! But I did run out of gems because I didn’t want to wait so I just clicked the gems and in the top corner of the box it says “Get free gems” and like any other app game it tells you that you can do like surveys and tests for gems but a few of them you have to “read an article” but I just go into the website and immediately leave and in like a minute I get my prize! They only give you like 1-3 gems but if I only wanted to do one thing such as speeding up bread it’s not a lot. And also people say that SumikkogurashiFarmfarmgame drains your battery quicker than usual but it doesn’t do that to me i have an 8th gen iPad and the battery goes down slowly anyways but it doesn’t drain the battery. So, in conclusion this game is amazing but you run out of the starter gems really quickly but you can get free gems from the website visiting thing and people say it drains your battery more than usual but it doesn’t do that.
