How to loot Reviews

The game was good at first but then it started to break down. For example I pass a level and then the screen freezes and it doesn’t work for a few minutes, and then when I get it back the whole thing happens again. And sometimes when I click something sometimes it breaks down the same way when I pass a level. Developers is you have a solution to this please tell me. I want to play Howtoloot normally. In this game there is to many adds. The idea of Howtoloot was good but it for me it just doesn’t work. Idk why it breaks and that is why I want developers to read this. I like the story and how the game begins but just it doesn’t work for me.

I downloaded this game thinking it would be fun like some of the other pin pull games. How do you progress through the game you win other characters which you cannot use because of the glitch that prevent you from selecting them so you have to exit out when you get to the end of a challenge you can’t continue on because both the characters are standing on top of the next button so again you must close the game and restart and then when you get to the stage where you are earning money to get the car the game completely jacked up you lose all of your money and a reset to $2400 and then the games continue to loop over and over and over and you cannot progress you get up to $8400 an hour brought back down to $2400 over and over doesn’t matter if you reset the game doesn’t matter if you uninstall and reinstall and then play all the way through again doesn’t matter what you do this game is garbage and by the way even if you paid the adds it still does not move the giant white line cover in the bottom half of the game so you can’t see what’s underneath again garbage.

Game is basically an ad watching money grab for developers. It could be fun but way too glitchy causing pins to move at the wrong time or not move at all causing you to run out of time and lose the level. Then you have to watch an ad to retry. Also have to watch an ad after each win. You spend more time watching ads than actually playing. The last update said it was to remove bugs but all it really did was make you have to agree to lose your privacy and info and give them permission to give it to advertisers in order to be able to play. That was the last straw. No thank you. Delete.

Like everyone else, I liked the idea behind those fake ads for games like Homescapes, so I tried this out. First thing they want is permission to invade my privacy to make ads directed at me. Next thing they want is to force me to watch an ad after every single puzzle is solved. I could have dealt with this (maybe) but I came across an ad that was impossible to clear (as in no x anywhere on the screen). Could not advance any further. But, according to other reviews, it didn’t matter bc the first level was the same as the last. This is a cheap lazy attempt to make money from ads. They didn’t even bother to edit their material for proper English. Delete.

This game would be fun except for two things. First and foremost, the touch is NOT sensitive enough at all. I end up having to click on the pins multiple times in multiple places in order to pull them, and 90% of the time when it finally works, it is at the wrong time which causes me to lose the game. It’s incredibly frustrating. You need to fix this.
And second, no one really cares about the back story much, so make an option to “skip” the storyline bubbles like most other games have. The storyline bubbles happen wayyyy too slowly.

I was excited to get to play this game that was actually the puzzles they have been falsely advertising. The first three sections were fun and the challenge progressed as you went along.
Then it just it repeat over and over again and you never went anywhere. I even deleted the opened it back up. You would start at the beginning the get stuck over and over.
The worst part is there is an ad after other play. It is the same 2 or 3 ads over and over again.
This would be a very fun game and extremely popular if they could just get it together.

The user experience in Howtoloot is horrifying. Spend 2 seconds on a level, get served an ad, that you must click exit on twice. Play another 2 seconds to complete a level and repeat with another ad. It seems this experience is just throwing ads at you all the time, hoping one may stick but it’s causing the user experience to not be enjoyable. They should allow a few games to be played and then serve an ad related to the user vs this throw everything but the kitchen sink model that is currently being applied. Less ads and this could def be enjoyable.

I was excited to actually be able to play the pull pin game. I guess because it’s new there are some kinks that need to be worked out. The most annoying one is the cringe worthy amount of ; what seems like, 45-60 seconds ads!! Jeez!! I’ve never experienced so many ads and there is no way to skip them or even pay to play right through. Then you don’t what level you’re one. The game also needs to offer some help within a level. I don’t mind the Family Guy looking graphics but the options and working needs to be better. I’m uninstalling. Hopefully it improves in the future.

Needs some work. There are glitches where you win the money and increase your stash, but as soon as you click level up for the next round, your stash decreases back to what it was in the previous round. Example: I start a level with $380. I win the level and I can see it has increased to $410. I watch the ad and then click next level and I am back to $380. This can continue to happen for several rounds.

As to the ads, yes there are plenty of them but many times you can click out of them fairly quickly. Also, I noticed as you progress through the levels it may skip pushing an ad on you after every game. Conversely, twice now I had an ad come up that just sat there and didn’t run its course and the only way out was to reboot the game.

I appreciate that the developer actually listened to people complaining about misleading ads showing a game that didn’t exist and kudos to him for coming up with something. But overall, it gets old quickly, is fairly repetitive and needs those glitches fixed. I have deleted it but will keep an eye out to see if he upgrades it down the road.

I just played several levels, first time playing, and the sheer volume of ads is Laughable! Crazy! Absolutely terrible!
There’s ads displaying across the bottom of the screen constantly, kinda normal nowadays, but every couple of levels, there are regular ads that last anywhere from 30 seconds to a full minute!!!
Each level literally takes five to fifteen seconds depending on how much time you spend figuring out which pins to pull in what order, then you have to pay with your time and fully interrupted train of thought by being bombarded with ads that are so much longer than it takes to play a level or two. It’s insane!
If the developers don’t change it, this will be the first and last time I play.

This game is cool in lots of ways, but even Bob The Builder couldn’t fix the glitches and visuals. I’ve personally never liked the art style, and always thought of Family Guy when I see it. Plus, the main (and only) character looks dead inside even when he gets millions of dollars just for having 2 brain cells. The puzzles are too simple. Level 50 is just as challenging as level 1. Also, if you move a pin faster than 2 inches an hour, the coins just go through the pin. The only reason I didn’t give this game a 1 star rating is because I really like these “Pull the Pin” games in general. The game would probably have been a lot better if the developers didn’t have better things to do.

I would enjoy this, if all the bugs were fixed. I actually didn’t have any ads, so that was nice. There’s no menu or options or anything. It’s just the level you’re on and if you beat it, it’s retry or next level. The worst part is the glitches, though. You only have 30 seconds to complete the level, which would be fine, except that you’ll spent most of that time swiping your screen over and over, in frustration, trying to get it to actually pull the pins. It’s not very responsive. And sometimes, the gold/diamonds/lava/etc will somehow travel through a solid wall causing you to lose. With some more fine-tuning, it could be a really fun game!

This game is really great but it has some glitches like sometime out of nowhere it will say the you failed and when a little bit of money goes into lava it will say you failed to it sure just give you less money when the money is in the lava and you can never see what level you are on like it said there is a surprise on level 30 I don’t even know if I’m close but the rest is great it is very fun and addictive I will give this game 9/10 it is awesome

It’s kinda like the ad version of garden escapes. The game is incredibly bugged, which can be hilarious or irritating.

On one hand, you can continue to manipulate the game in the background even after a game over or a victory is achieved, meaning it is possible to lose and win at the same time. You can also sometimes exploit glitches such as zombies dying when the level loads , or quickly clicking the “next round” before a rock drops to obtain an easy victory.

On the other hand, sometimes you must reload a level several times to get the lava to be properly affected by gravity; simply pulling pins in the right order isn’t enough.

There is only one song, which can be turned off but the game is too quiet so most leave it on. It is catchy, but gets old after a while.

The story mode is cool, but also bugged; I’ve been earning for the car to give to your wife for nearly 130 levels now and still haven’t progressed.

The artwork and animation is very simple and shoddy, but also charming and memorable.

Tl;dr give the game a 4/5 for trying to satisfy what we wanted from gardenscapes and not using excessive ads, but it needs work and some serious debugging. I’d fund it’s development if I knew where to send to the creator :D

Ok so I love the game like a lot bc on ads it always showed this type of stuff on homescapes and everything but they didn’t actually have the game so when I saw this game I was really happy. But when I started to play there were some issues. One is that sometimes it can be really laggy and glitchy. Second there are so many ads. And last is....well there’s not really a last I just had two problems. Hope y’all read all the way through.

This is a fun game but it has way way too many ads. Every time I finish one level it goes straight to ad. I find that annoying. I have only had it for one day and I already found that it needs improvements. It probably makes you by no ads. Please make this better. And I mean this in the nicest way. I am not trying to say your game is the worst I am just saying it could be better. Thanks for understanding!

The new version was very easy and fun but I would love it more if it had more features like that and it is free but it doesn’t make you feel free and it doesn’t get it to you and it doesn’t even make sense when you’re trying it again but you can’t even make the new one and then you can play Howtoloot on the other hand you have no one else and you have no luck with the new one and then it won’t even load and then you can’t even play with your friends or anything else but you can’t even get a new one or even more.

Ok where do I start.... One thing you should know about me before reading this is that I NEVER write reviews. This game though is so good that I just had to. Unlike homescapes, this game doesn’t lie in the ads. Also it is like someone actually took time to do this. There are not much ads but I do wish there were skins. If there are I don’t know where to get them. Anyways if you like to challenge your brain, I would really suggest doing this.

So yes this game is good but there are so many adds after every single round there are ads and it becomes to be kind of annoying and when ever you stop playing it starts you all over again so please fix it so I can really enjoy the game and I’m 10 years old but it is kind of easy to so just ad trouble starting over annoyances and we’ll too easy but to me fix those then you go a good game that is all

So the ads are annoying but the game does what it says it does and let’s you pull pins and avoid being burned by the lava. I like the graphic on the dude and I also love the WHY I’m going out there to get the money. Dude is trying to live a little and give his wife what she wants! Bonus- there are mini games within- super bonus!! The music is not so great but you can turn it off or put your phone on DND. Also amazing is playing this game with both WiFi and data turned off!! Cuz those ads are really annoying— I get why they’re there but it would be so cool if this can be placed in Apple Arcade- win win- everyone makes some dough !!
