SpamCallBlocker is worthless from what I can tell for what it claims it’ll do. I have it set to block calls yet it allows each and every call to come through! There are SOME that say “potential spam” and yet my phone is still ringing… WHY?! I use to get about 7-10 spam calls a day. Since installing and using SpamCallBlocker I get close to 30!! Yes, 30!! And SpamCallBlocker allows all of them to come through no matter how many times I update the database. I’m sorry, I know a lot of work has gone into developing SpamCallBlocker but this just isn’t worth it!!!

Response to Developer’s response… SpamCallBlocker is 100% DEFINITELY in the “Block” mode and NOT Identify. It’s been updated multiple times and it doesn’t work, it absolutely does not work!! Thanks for responding with a possible solution though, that’s super amazing of you to do that!

Installed app two days ago to block spam calls about Medicare benefits. Have received 10+ calls from this robo call operation with zero calls being blocked. Reported to customer service and received an advertising response touting the merits of their app along with the implication that I wasn’t smart enough to use it correctly. Once again, worthless.

Apple asked for an update on my review: Still worthless. Canceled subscription and deleted app.

I bought the premium version of SpamCallBlocker hoping to get the spam callers to leave me alone but it literally does nothing. Thanks for stealing my money…

Developer responded saying I didn’t enable the protection in my settings but I have indeed enabled these settings

SpamCallBlocker offer free lifetime IAP but you couldn’t restore your purchased after reinstall it. The purchase screen will be appearing at the first time you launch SpamCallBlocker.
The developer is using this dirty trick to increasing SpamCallBlocker ’s downloaded time.

I turned it on and didnt wanna pay 30 bucks for call filtering and this trash didnt even work i got 2 spam calls right after downloading it nothing with SpamCallBlocker even worked waste of time

I was getting 3-5 spam calls a day. So I bought SpamCallBlocker, installed, updated both databases, and still get 3-5 calls a day.
I have updated both databases several times.
I suspect that the spam callers, everything from time shares, to extended car warranties to credit cards are using spoofing software which falsifies their phone numbers which makes SpamCallBlocker useless.
Don’t waste your money.

I have had SpamCallBlocker for about two weeks and still getting 10 or more spam calls a day which is about what I was getting before paying for SpamCallBlocker.

On a typical day I will receive up to 25 or so calls on my iPhone labeled as potential spam. 90% are spam! I wish I didn’t have to enter every number that I received into the blocked call section. It would be wonderful if every time I blocked a number your app would pick up on it so I didn’t have to enter each number separately. Help!

The fact that you personally have to keep updating every other day to get it to work is a pain. Who has time to do that everyday in a busy schedule.

It does not come up on my phone so I can block number.
When I look up number it doesn’t say scam, you just get a list to choose from.
I need to hand put in number I want to block.

Alot of the scammers cant get through to my phone now SpamCallBlocker IS GREAT!

Got it a few days ago. Was getting 5-6 spam calls a day. Morning evening and in between. Since I installed this no calls. I’m very very pleased
So today I got 2 calls. Chalking it up to better than 7! I’ll give it the free trial time and see what happens. Still pretty pleased

It works really well, thank you! Like, it won't block no important calls, and it shows me if I can trust the number calling or not. And I can add the numbers I don't like to an actual blocklist

Thanks so much for developing SpamCallBlocker! I haven't felt more secure in a long time. It looks like my cell phone number somehow got on the list of spammers, which persistently kept bothering me. Although it's hard to get rid of them, this spam blocker has performed amazingly so far. I hope it will not let me down!

So far so good I get a few comes through I like it don’t get as many as I use to thanks for a great app

The recent update causes my phone to freeze and lock up to the point that I have to shutdown my phone and restart to regain functionality.

This occurs when I try to add a comment for the blocked number I added. It will accept 2 characters then freeze.
