GPSMapCamera destroys my photos by pasting the geotag info on top of my photos. It also provides no method to change this destructive act.

If I crop this unwanted crap from the photo then all geotag info is lost!!!!

I want a simple gps camera app that stores the geotag info in the photo file info that can be accessed on demand. Not pasted all over my photo!!!

I paid for Pro, every time I open GPSMapCamera I get a popup asking for access for my entire photo library. I have it setup for specific photos only, for a reason. The question has been asked, and it has been answered repeatedly, NO. There is zero reason GPSMapCamera needs access to photos it did not take, unless they want to steal data. Fix GPSMapCamera , and I’ll fix the review.

GPSMapCamera use to be fine. Ads like any free app, i use it for work, lately, there are no longer “ads” but invasive pop ups, that automatically take you to there website, app store, or simply make you wait for the 60 second add to play through, then take you automatically to the website, its gotten so bad GPSMapCamera is almost unusable, will definitely be looking for alternatives.

GPSMapCamera promises more than it can deliver. I took a series of pictures and tried to insert them in Google Maps. I had to open each photo in a separate window of Google Maps. I was unable to upload all photos and create a map of my gps positions. GPSMapCamera unexpectedly crashed several times as I was selecting my photos for a report. I cannot open GPSMapCamera from its icon on my iPhone. I have to open it from GPSMapCamera Store to get it to work. I do not find it to be a useful product.

I like the options for data and customization. I do not like that there are uneditable graphics for elevation; it looks unprofessional. I do not like that certain elements, like the compass & elevation, are fixed in awkward places on the stamp. It is almost good enough for me to be proud of using.

The bearing/direction isn’t correct in landscape mode. There’s no indication if the compass needs calibrated. I hate having to check north and find out it’s 90 degrees off. If you don’t use all the lines in a template, it doesn’t collapse down.

Other features I want to see: some sort of tilt reading. If I’m pointed up a hill, I’d like that reading with the bearing. I’d like some sort of crosshairs option too for the overlay. With position, angle, tilt, and crosshairs you could exactly reproduce a picture in the future.

I use this for work to tag the properties I am at. I need to be inconspicuous and discreet as a process server as it’s a safety issue. After the last update, the shutter sound has not be able to be shut off and now I am looking for a new app which is annoying because I paid to remove ads and now will have to start over looking for something similar but with sound that turns off.

If the goal is to annoy you into buying the premium version, it definitely does a good job. I just wish it didn’t give you an ad as soon as you logged on as sometimes it stops me from taking pictures as I’m in a fast paced environment.

It would be perfect if the commercials were shorter or there were no commercials at all.

I do construction and I like being able to mark the time, location, and weather when I take a picture and this does that but the information could be presented better. And this vs. it’s competition, this one is the better of them.

GPSMapCamera is stellar, beyond my expectations. I need GPSMapCamera for working as an OSP field surveyor and it does exactly what I need.
However, the only thing I can say that bothers me, is that the orientation lock holds no value on GPSMapCamera . I tend to walk from one utility pole to another, with my phone attached via lanyard, and I take photos of the utility poles per my contract. The photos will end up being upside down or sideways. This is my only peeve about the software, everything else works as I personally need it to. Thank y’all for hearing me and for providing this tool

I use GPSMapCamera whenever I work as a delivery driver. It deters scammy people from saying they never received their order when they’re receiving a pic of their place with GPS coordinates and a time stamp on it.

This is a great camera app makes my job a little easier with be able to put more info on picture. I also like that is saves and adds the pictures to the spot I took them at on the map

GPSMapCamera is great, it does everything I wanted it to, gives me a GPS fix and an address and outside temperature printed on the photo, or not, if that’s what you want, is fully customizable for what information it puts on the photo.
And the developer is responsive to suggestions and making improvements.
Love it!

It doesn’t say anywhere if it’s monthly or a 1 time payment and than I own it ?

GPSMapCamera has truly been a huge help for me. Being able to snap pictures with the coordinates along with the location is proof I am where I am. GPS map camera has covered me from all misfits. The commercials and the glishes that comes with wanting you to purchase are annoying— places me in situations while having to hurry up and snap a picture. The commercials come at the wrong times and slowdown my flow—causing impatient customers to find fault with my services.

Like GPSMapCamera. It works pretty good. There are a couple things I’d like to see changed though. First I think the stamp(overlay) should be closer to the bottom of the image. Possibly be able to specify the position. Second I’d like a little bit more flexibility in the notes and make up of the overlay. Something like you get x lines so if you only have say the date/time and the position like I use, you could allow for extra line of notes/description. Other than that I think it works great.

I originally sought an app that could be used as backup “proof” for my grocery delivery job. You can do everything right & still have customers file fraudulent claims that they’re orders were never delivered, just to get a full refund for groceries that they ordered “and received “. With GPSMapCamera, I can complete the delivery & sit there until the customer opens their door and starts grabbing their groceries and then I snap “photo proof”, complete with GPS location, time/date stamp, and residential address(if available). Delivery drivers can lose their jobs because of customer fraud. GPSMapCamera helps level the playing field.😉☯️😷
