Not Realistic enough
I feel like this isn’t realistic enough like you only have a second to guess in Little League and I feel like it should be 1.7 seconds because I am doing this to get good practice and also maybe it could be like if you say 4 seam fastball and it is 2 seam fastball it should just be like a 50% chance of getting a hit maybe and for Majors level you could like have real pitchers like Jacob DeGrom Verlander etc and it will tell you 50% 4 seam 5% curveball or something like that

Spins of Pitches
2 Seam FB, 4 Seam FB, and Slider have the correct spins, but the curveball spin isn’t right. It’s not suppose to spin like a bullet, the slider is. Curveballs are 2-8, 1-7, 12-6 spin, sometimes 1-8 or 2-7. Also Changeups don’t spin like a FB unless you throw a Split Change or something close to that. It’s either a Split Change, Circle Change, 3-finger Change, or Vulcan Change. Split and Vulcan are the closest ones to a FB spin. I know it’s nitpicking, but it’d be a way better app if these changes were implemented.

Good but flawed
Overall SeamReader is good for developing quick thought processing around what the pitch will be. However, it is definitely not the same as doing this against a real pitcher. Also, there is no way to tell the difference in SeamReader between a changeup and a fastball, and you just have to take a wild guess. It is a decent app, but I would recommend practicing with someone else outside if possible.

Much needed app!
I love how this can be a way hitters can get mobile batting practicing for bus rides or just hanging out! Instead of the dumb drill of having a dot on a ball and make pretending it’s a curveball in practice lol

Fastball and changeup look the same

I know nothing about the game. But learned that baseball is more complex than I thought.

Not worth it
First of all, the changeup (4 and 2 seam) spin is the same as their fastball counterparts for orientation, so it’s impossible to differentiate the two. The other major problem is the curveball has slider spin with 0% spin efficiency.

Love the game play and the animations! The ballers are a great touch, and really help to personalize the game.

Cutter be removed
Really like SeamReader but you should delete the 4 seam cutter and 2 seam cutter because there is no difference
