Goody – Easy Gifting Reviews

I’ve experienced several issues with receiving my this app gift. I selected my item and received confirmation that the item would ship and weeks later, when I reached out to customer service, they said that I had not indicated that I had selected an item. I redid the process and ended up on the same confirmation page. The representative that I spoke to was dismissive of the issue. After placing the order the second time, I did not receive any shipping updates from this app or from FedEx, and when I revisited the redemption link, I landed on a page with the item I selected and no tracking information. I reached out yesterday, a month and two days after my initial redemption, and I was told that my order had been delivered weeks ago. I have not received it, and again, no indication of shipping from this app or FedEx. I’m not sure if my experience was a fluke, but I’m very disappointed in this service. Was really excited to receive a gift from my team, but it has become a headache.

I think Goody is full of great ideas. I love that you get a free $15 gift when you sign up and when you invite friends. However, I do feel that a lot of the gift options you get are blatantly overpriced and pretentious. Most of the food items are overpriced because they’re vegan and gluten-free, which is fine to some extent, but that’s pretty much your only options. I’d like to have more affordable options that are a little less targeted. Other than that, I feel that the layout and style of Goody is gorgeous and there is a lot to offer here!

I would have loved an app that allowed me to send gifts quickly and with class. This is not it. First, the gifts are worth (retail) a quarter of what they cost and this is evident to the recipient. Second, the presentation is far from top-shelf. The only good thing I can say is the promise it holds for a company who wants to offer quality gifts with an impressive presentation. They did have a really nice ecard which “unwraps” in text messages (SMS), but this falls far short of a nice gift presentation. The gift I sent was received in a typical cardboard box with cardboard packing materials and no nice packaging. The gift itself was cheap looking. Not good enough for my purposes.

I was sent a gift through this app from a VC firm who only had my email address. The process was well-designed and I have quickly seen from experience how this app can be used to build trust and strengthen a relationship in the business world. this app has a wide variety of meaningful products to choose from. I really believe this app is the future of gifting, and can’t wait to start using the platform more often!

Goody is supposedly for those who want to send gifts to others on special days or events, but I don’t understand how this would work at all. Do I send the card a few days early so the recipient can get the actual item on the day that it’s intended to be used? Do I send the card on the day and make them wait more than a week for the item to get to them? Wouldn’t that just defeat the entire purpose of a special event? You’re pretty much paying more for an item with significantly longer shipping times. Save yourself the embarrassment and ask your recipient for their address.

I’ve never really written an app review before but i just felt like this app deserved a 5 star one for their exceptional service. I have never been helped so fast and easily as their customer support helped me so fast!! It was awesome to know they’re really there to help if needed. The gifts they offer are so cute and unique as well! They’re a great app i recommend for anyone to check out! Amazing customer service :)

I also feel compelled to leave a review. I used Goody on a whim without knowing much and I was so impressed with how user friendly it is. It’s such an innovative concept and so easy. Gift giving is tough to begin with but this app makes it simple. I had fun picking out gifts and my friends LOVED reviving them! I think everyone needs to know about this! Great App 10/10.

I love Goody. It’s so easy to send a gift. It’s great if you forget to send a gift ahead of a special date. All you need to do is pick out the card and gift and the persons phone number. They get a text a gift was sent to them by you. I love this app!!
They also had a wonderful selection of gifts for any occasion.

I love this concept. The prices are very steep though. I do like that they offer a free first gift though! However, it only has the coffee option and no one I know likes coffee, so I skipped it. It would be nice to have a couple of options for the free one! I’m keeping Goody in case I decide to use it in the future. I would really like an address input area for surprise gifts! I’d send some to family this way instead of coworkers.

Everyone I’ve sent a gift to has loved the experience so far! Also, I’m using it to keep track of all the important birthdays I need to remember (more focused than using Facebook). Definitely recommend trying it out!

this app's is an amazing company that loves it's customers. Not only do you get $15 free, so does anyone that signs up. Then just having Goody you get to send you friends and family free gifts from here to there. I just 💓 all their things and so does everyone I send stuff too.

Gift arrived after 5 days… shouldnt have been a problem except Goody didnt update the tracking info until the gift was delivered. And it says delivered the day BEFORE. Otherwise customer service was prompt in their replies so that was awesome

Honestly I used this last year for client gifts and for my staff on bdays. It’s killer I just love it and everything is so unique. Great idea and great products and presentation to the recipients.

Great App, but I wish we could send via email too. It would be great for co workers, and others who can’t check their phones all the time but could use a pick me up during the day.

I like Goody and idea. You should add a feature where you can ‘favorite’ items to view later. Also you should include a pic of the nutrition info for the food items.

I love the idea! Especially with the pandemic, it gives users a different experience. Their products are great! And you get to try if it free! Must download!

Experienced receiving and sending a gift instantly - super easy process/app and brands that I’ve not been exposed to including great sustainable and wellness products

I hate shopping, hate gift guides and I especially hated how asking friends for their address ruined the surprise of a gift. Now you can find a gift, surprise your recipient at the same time as asking the question! I had issues logging in the first time but was able to get around it easily.

Not only it helps me to figure out what I could offer but also it makes the transaction so seamless!!! Basically I just need to think about the idea of being generous to someone. Thank you.

It’s great for sending last minute birthday presents or immediate congratulatory gifts. Zero friction since you just need to know the recipient’s phone number. It’s especially perfect during COVID when it’s harder to see people and all the products are 💯

The process of sending and receiving gifts is so easy on Goody. Makes me wonder why everything doesn’t work like this. Support team is excellent. Really impressed
