Epic Privacy Browser (w/ VPN) Reviews

I always use private browsers when I can because I hate being advertised to. Don’t you hate searching for something you need like a toilet seat—and for the next three months all you see are banner ads for more toilet seats? Or you click a link for a tent and all your ads are now for camping equipment? Epic is great for that. Strongly recommended. You can get it free for PC and Mac (not sure about Linux) and it’ll prevent all that tracking stuff on your computer, too.

EPIC comes through for those tired of our life being sold out like a cheap trick, and then sold back to us. On top of that EPIC isn’t trying to take over the world or censor free speech! Who would have guessed. User interface is very familiar and the protocols appear to be sound given a few administrative exceptions. Try them out. Epic you have my business as long as you don’t sell out

As a privacy concerned individual, I really appreciate the effort and steps Epic has made in that arena. I’ve even subscribed to your private search engine to help support your efforts. I would love to use Epic all the time but I simply can’t due the blinding, retina-searing white background. PLEASE give us a dark mode and my rating will immediately go to 5 stars. But… please accept my sincere thanks for what you have accomplished so far. Keep up the good fight!

I’ve been waiting to use Epic on my iPad and iPhone as I love their Mac browser. It has as expected been worth the wait. I’m so glad I can browse privately and have peace of mind on iOS now. Epic’s AdBlock and VPN are excellent as are all their other privacy features. Tab scrolling is easy and rendering is fast. Try Epic, I highly recommend it. You won’t be disappointed.

So far I’ve had no issues. I have hotspot WiFi that leaves a lot to be desired and this gives me some sense of security. I don’t pretend to know everything or even anything about technology so take this review for what it is... a middle aged, tech ignorant woman that just knows it works. :)

These guys care about REAL privacy. Through them, I learned that DuckDuckGo search is tied to Bing and Google. Epic offers a truly private search for a monthly fee (if you want it). I think we should support this if we care about our right to privacy!

I think the only suggestion I can think of at this time is for a dark mode, on iOS. I prefer using the iPad for browsing, instead of my phone, and the white background is a bit much.

Thank you for making such a great product, apart from this. A free, GOOD vpn is very useful.

I’ve been using Epic on my iOS and OSX devices for some time now and wouldn’t think of switching to anything else. The privacy protections alone are worth paying for but here you are getting them free. Thanks Epic for a great product and service!

I have recently started using EPIC Privacy Browser on the PC and decided to add it to my iPad mini. I wish I had started using EPIC sooner. I don’t have to jump through hoops anymore when opening my email sites. Really has made a difference in my life and given me piece of mind.

Browsing experience is very good. This is just other browsers but added features like ad block or tracking disable. Bookmark feature is awesome.

Need one feature that is dark mode browsing.

I’ve used the browser for a long time. I was hyped to see this for iOS but after downloading it I still can’t see a vpn option. I thought maybe it just is automatically on, so I went to searched what’s my up. It still showed my home connection. In the pictures for EpicPrivacyBrowserwVPN it shows the ad block tab with a switch. In my ad block tab there is no option to turn it on or off. It just says what it should be. How is EpicPrivacyBrowserwVPN supposed to be private if it pretty far from the PC browser

When I first downloaded Epic on iPhone it worked well for a short time then the VPN Button stopped working.
After briefly clicking on How Epic video it worked but not fit long.
I deleted d it s installed again with same results.
For now I’ll keep and hopefully find a solution soon. I really like it otherwise but if VPN doesn’t work it’s useless.

Oh goodie I see your back to not functioning fully as a web browser again.🙄would like to point out that if a browser won’t fully load and render a web page then it’s useless please fix your browser it does this every other month and frankly I’m getting tired of it.

This the only browser I have found that doesn’t share your data with google or bing, it is light and easy to use.

Nice browser works pretty well could use a few more features but it’s still new hopefully people will use it so they can make it a little bit better.

I am pleased to begin using the Epic Mobile App. I have used the desktop version for almost 5 years. It’s my go to app when I can’t get on line which is often here in Asia. It’s unobtrusive and generally more reliable than most browsers. I recommend

Wow I can’t believe this browser even exists it is one of the most reliable browsers I have ever used I highly highly recommend and it’s free can’t get no better love it I rate it 100 % get it you will love it

Really love that the VPN is integrated into the browser. It’s obviously not as fast or reliable as an external service like nord VPN but what a great browser! For those who are looking for a simple way to browse safe and private Epic is perfect!

I love this browser, I wish I would support DuckDuckGo as a search engine but other than that this browser is perfect and I love the fact that it has a build in VPN free of charge

I have used brave, tor and Mozilla but I like this browser for its simplicity.
Simple yet sufficient for daily use.
