Both Sides Reviews

I truly love the concept. I like to know “ Both Sides.” However I understand that revenue is derived from the advertisements but oh my god can you ease up on the advertisements. You can’t click on a single link without being immediately interrupted by an ad. So you sit through the ad and then you’ll find that the opposing view that you were looking for is two sentences instead of an actual article. Like I said I like the concept but I hope this evolves into something more functional

I’ll keep this short- I love BothSides and I think it’s a great idea. However, there are some major issues within the software. I can’t even join a debate anymore, I can just open it. When I go to “joined” my debates aren’t there even after I’ve clicked join. This is one of many minor but big issues. Seem like easy fixes.

I do like BothSides a lot.. I love debating people in a space that’s peaceful and has support, but the text bar takes a very long time to send. I can press send when trying to type something 2000 times and it won’t send through. BothSides is also very laggy. trying to go from one debate to another page of BothSides , makes it get stuck and difficult. it’s also very laggy and takes a while load. I’ve had BothSides since the beginning and I realize that it’s new. please fix how laggy it is

It has a very un-cluttered menu and an overall average design. The only reason I don’t give it a five star is because of slow loading times and other small things that don’t effect me incredibly bad, but are still minor inconveniences.

Overall a good app though still, thanks!

Honestly BothSides could use a few new updates.

First off the notifications should take you directly to the message/chat that it’s linked to. I’ve noticed that it will take you to the home screen, but doesn’t take you to the messages, and it won’t show where, being the debate or post, the message is coming from.

Posts, you should be able to follow a photo post that someone uploads. I’ll comment on someone’s post, they’ll tag me in the response but because it doesn’t take me to the linked conversation, it’s hard to find that debate.

Posters, I have noticed a lot of the same people posting coming up on my feeds. I think we should find a way to make a more diverse and broader scan of posters from other areas if that’s possible.

Other than that I love BothSides . Just a few minor things you know.

I love the idea of BothSides , however i have a few issues with BothSides itself. BothSides is very slow and glitchy. I also think you need to be able to get notifications for when you get a new follower, a like on a post, and for debates. Also it would be nice to be able to see who likes you posts and who your followers are.

I’d say BothSides is pretty good overall but it could use some improvements but I’m so glad there are no ads or anything annoying like that. I just wish that more people had BothSides so it’s not the same liberals trying to attack me. I want to have people that I can argue with and not say well “acab” or “ur name is dumb so u can’t talk”. So I just hope u can advertise ur app on other platforms.

I enjoy BothSides because it allows you to view other perspectives of a situation without the toxicity that tik tok has. But it is very frustrating because BothSides has many bugs. I have had many times especially today where BothSides will randomly close or I cannot open a discussion if I click on it.

It’s a cool concept, being able to debate others and look at different articles without an algorithm. But it’s a bit laggy, and falls behind sometimes. I fell like I won’t be able to enjoy BothSides as much as I can with these lags. But, it’s a great app.

BothSides is really good for people who are into politics, but it definitely could be better. It would be nice if your profile picture wasn’t in the left corner blocking the view of your picture post, if the search for followers feature wasn’t sensitive for capitalization, and If you could write more on your written political post.

It’s a great app but I’m having a few problems. When I go to the current event page or the page where the news articles are nothing shows up. It says left and right at the top but other then that the screen is blank. Is there a ay to fix this?

As a person who has just gotten into politics recently, the amount of fake news in the media is astonishing and it is important to hear both sides of the situation from somebody who will not change the circumstance to fit their narrative.

BothSides not only keeps you informed by way of “both sides” opinions, it also allows for anyone to go on and express their own opinion. I can’t get enough of the debate feature! Once I get on BothSides, it’s really hard to get off of it!

Amazing and fun app idea! I can spend hours debating people! But I’ve noticed some technical flaws and a lot of people in BothSides agreed with me. Firstly Messages get deleted out of nowhere after two seconds of sending them during the debate, which gets really confusing and annoying. As of now you can’t see who’s following you which I wish you could. What would make the debate so much easier is to see what message you’re replying to not which person because it gets really confusing in the debate and hard to follow along. It could also use notifications when there’s activity at a certain debate because now You have to constantly check. There should also be a feature of teams where you can make a team go against the other sides team. Lastly, it would make the debating so much easier if we were able to send pictures and videos instead of just links. Overall amazing app and a great place to get your voice heard.

This is an all around a great app to express my ideas in a safe environment. It is super easy to find what you are looking for. BothSides simple and well put together. There is no doubt in my mind that BothSides will take off and do really well. This was a great idea!

Really innovative idea!! I think it’s really cool that it shows both side of the political spectrum and shows how the two differ. BothSides does a really good job at comparing the two sides and it’s super easy to use! Take it from me, a college kid, I am only going to use BothSides to read the news.

I love BothSides but I do think there are some things that can would make it better. First i think we should be able to DM people, and be able like messages (this would minimize clutter in the debates as a way of showing ur support of another comment)

I like BothSides . You need to add the path to debate or comment directly within news feed. I would like to click on news feed and use that as a point of entry to debate that news feed.
You can still keep the create or join debate section.
The news feed is actually what will drive the debate.
Good job on creating BothSides .

Ok so overall this is a really good app where for the most part u wont get torn apart for anything but some things i would like to see added are more customization for notifications rn the only notifications i get are when i get mentioned in a debate and i would like to customize it to where i can make it so u can turn notifications on a debate without being mentioned and one last thing is to be able to kick people out of chat as the debate creator because it gets annoying when someone comes in and just spams nonsense

I like BothSides is very nice to debate people and see from both sides point of view. Just few issues I can’t see who follows me or who likes my post you can’t use emojis and see how many comments the notifications aren’t notifying me either, so I have to constantly check... but other than the that BothSides is really well put and fun to use!! Definitely recommend it for people who love debating on different subjects. I wish people would be able to like each other’s comments when debating too.

i think BothSides should have a more formal are when a photo is posted. it seems too small and it should be more like instagram where it’s a small photo and you can click on it to zoom in. otherwise great app keep it up

I think this is a really good app but I think that it should allow you to change your profile name at least once

It’s such a good app!! It has a lot of bugs but other than that, I love it!

This is the perfect app for researching political current events and issues. The search tool makes it super easy to read about specific issues from the viewpoint of both major political parties. The setup is very well organized and I have not experienced any trouble with the speed of BothSides . I love it because not all of my political opinions line up with just one party or the other and BothSides is a great solution. Would 100% recommend especially for the upcoming election.

BothSides is awesome! Learn about the news going on in the works but from both perspectives so that you aren’t susceptible to fake news! Love how everyone can openly debate topics in an organized and formal way also! Such a good idea!

BothSides is a great format for discussion and to see other views. There are also legitimate sources from “both sides” of the spectrum. Highly recommend for anyone looking to be more informed across the aisle!

Keep up to date on both politic affiliations so that you can come to your own conclusion, and avoid political bias.

As we knowThere is a lot of media bias nowadays. BothSides is perfect to point out the bias and to understand the different bias of either the left or right, but it would be nice to see the center as there are sites that have little to none bias in their articles.
